The staff was super friendly and helpful, but the condition of the place left a little to be desired. They were painting and repairing the two rooms across from ours, so the smell hit us when the door opened. My husband wanted to work out but couldn’t access the gym (also across from us) so he had to go to the front desk to get someone to open it. Once inside, found that some of the equipment was broken. However, our room was large and comfortable, and the next morning’s breakfast service was plentiful—made to order omelets and burritos plus a buffet of eggs, meat, and waffles. Once this place is done, it will be quite nice.

The room was clean but had a musty smell in the bathroom. Having a microwave and small fridge was convenient. Breakfast was also convenient with the eggs made to order a nice touch. The pool was not heated making it uncomfortable even on a hot day. Overall ok for the age of the hotel.

Not happy about the laundry room. I was in town fyayouth sports tournament. Laundry room sign on the door says hours of use 7 am-10pm. I went to get uniforms out of the dryer at 9:30 pm, I can’t get into the room. The employee at the desk says the last wash is at 9pm. Makes no sense open till 10 but no posting last wash at 9. The did send an employee to open the door but it was very frustrating. We had to leave at 6 am fr the next game. It all makes no sense.

Unfortunately the room was unclean. There was dirt and dust in the ceilings from the vents. A previous guest or employee used the toilet and had not flushed it leaving behind fecal matter. The room’s furniture had not appeared to be wiped down. Upon arrival I was directed to park behind the building, however, I could have parked along the side and made it to my room much quicker with less steps. I had multiple bags to bring in making the initial trip inconvenient.

Place is old and the bathroom needs updating. The room was loud the water pipe in the wall by the bed was so loud whenever someone took shower next door or who knows where. I turned the fan on to drowned out the pipe in wall noise. The room was dark and dingy and funky corner room by the road.

This hotel is definitely outdated, the TV is very slow in the volume doesn’t work very well. The walls can be thin when you hear people next to you or above you the bathtub is super dated. Everything functions in the beds are OK.

Just okay hotel, but i would not stay there again. the bed was hard and pillows uncomfortable. we could not use the air conditioning because it was sooo load. so it was pretty hot. The breakfast was decent for this type hotel. front desk very friendly. lots of rooms. hotel looks nice outside but old inside rooms.

The room is spacious and clean. Very dated, ie: AC/heat unit (one button not working). Lighting is nice. TV selection good, though again dated remote for it. Bathroom sink almost completely plugged, very very slow drain. Don’t like outside ingress/egress…it is a motel with door opening out to a backside secluded parking lot. Check in clerk very efficient and friendly. They called me about a cord I left. Went back and got it. Very helpful people.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The area is nice and quiet. The room was clean and cleaned daily with fresh towels and restocked coffee which we appreciated when we got back to our room each evening. We had a second floor room with a balcony facing the adorable courtyard and loved sitting out there every morning and evening. Only downfall was the pillows. They were all just small, hard, lumpy pillows. We’ll stay here again, but will definitely bring our own pillows along.

The room was better than I expected, it was so big and beautiful. The balcony view was nice and just the overall atmosphere was nice. But one of the best part was the fireplace, which w As so toasty, and the second part was the hot tub in the room .. it was the icing on the most delicious cake. The workers were so nice, especially the guy that checked us in , he was so friendly and gave excellent guest service. We will definitely be back.. thanks for the amazing time!!!

The one star is left solely due to the awful breakfast experience we had here. In fairness the front desk are absolutely lovely and very friendly but after breakfast this morning I cannot give any more than one star- it was that horrible. Following an officious and offhand welcome- we were barked instructions by the most rude woman we encountered on this trip. My son and I ordered the made to order omelettes and had been looking forward to this breakfast which looked great on the website and we were also told how good it was at check in. I ordered a mushroom omelette and my son s completely plain one. The woman scrutinised the order slips and then told my quite shy son that there were omelettes already “over there” and gestured to the hot plates. She then (and I do not exaggerate, snatched his order slip and ripped it up directly in front of us numerous times! He queued in a lengthy queue to find there were not- just scrambled eggs. He just took a pastry instead. Feeling quite upset at how we were treated I approached the woman and explained that she had told us there were plain omelettes but there were not. Her attitude was horrible. With no apology she said we could do another order of a plain omelette. ( v unfriendly ) Our room number was called and I went to collect my omelette. The plate was taken back off me! The man said “that is not yours, you ordered plain”. I explained it was my room number and that we were waiting on the plain one also. To be fair he was not a

This property is completely overrated. It is an old hotel which has been redone to a certain degree, but it is old underneath. It’s serviceable, but I would not stay here again. Breakfast ends at 9 am even on the weekends. Also, the doors of the rooms open out to the parking lot (old motel style). There is NO ELEVATOR, so be prepared to lug your suitcase up several flights if you stay here. I asked the front desk to switch to a ground floor room for my 84 year old father and the front desk clerk said no and could care less. Poor staff. One of the beds in my room was so broken down that we called it the “torture bed.” This place really needs some further updating. Cheap, budget property. Don’t stay here unless you must.

Everything about my stay was great, the food, parking, staff, etc. The breakfast was the best eating I've had at a hotel, and it was free. I couldnt have asked for a better stay! Being super close to Wal-Mart, a stores, and places to eat made it easier for me to navigate and make deisions. Depending on what you're coming to Simi Valley for I'd definitely reccomend this as a goto place to stay.

We stayed (one night) while visiting the Reagan Library. The hotel is less than 2 miles from the Library making it an easy visit. The hotel is very clean, and super quiet, with a better than average breakfast included. Would stay here again.

The location is superb. The front desk was helpful. I booked this hotel at the last minute. I wasn't really watching. I booked the handicapped room. Much to my surprise, when we opened the door. But, I explained the error to the staff. I had my NEW ROOM KEY within 3 minutes. Plus a lead on a great pizza shop.

In my opinion this is more a motel than a hotel. It’s clean. The room I stayed in was for handicapped guests. It’s well equipped with all my needs. The dinning area is not good. It’s too small to accommodate all the guests. The breakfast is not goo. The pillows in the room are too firm and in a square shape that is not comfortable at all to sleep on. I had to sleep without a pillow because if I did I’ll wake up with a knack problem. Will not stay in this place again.

Upon checking in, I was informed that breakfast could not be taken back to our room and that guests had to eat in the dining area only. Nowhere was this mentioned on the website before booking, or in the confirmation. I specifically looked for a hotel that included free breakfast so we can take it back to our room, especially since we have young children. We even asked one of the breakfast staff members and was informed the same thing in a rather rude way.

At check-in George greeted me and offered suggestion and shook my saying enjoy your stay with a warm smile. Don't see that often. Morning breakfast was very good and staff ready to help and clean up. Loved eating out on the patio.

It was nice, clean the staff was friendly .. the pool was clean and there was plenty of towels.. everything was perfect minus the ice machine was difficult the ice kept getting stuck but that’s minor .. would definitely stay again and recommend to others.. oh shoot almost forgot the breakfast was great I liked that you can order a made to order omelette..

This hotel was decent for the price, the property was well decorated and clean. The beds and room were fairly comfortable. The best part was the free breakfast, it was excellent with a lot of choices. You could order an egg burrito or omelette and there were various choices of meat, pastries and fresh fruit...best continental breakfast I've had.
