Days Inn by Wyndham San Francisco S/Oyster Point Airport

Not exactly an airport hotel, no regular shuttle service. They have to call pickup for you and it may be late if you are in a hurry.

Elevator broken, staff did not really speak English or understand it clearly, had to repeat many questions, hardly anybody on reception, sign said call night manager via phone even during daytime that was very hard to hear because it was broken. Cleaning staff were very helpful 10x better than front desk staff but had limited English

Overnight. No amenities except ice and a soda machine

Definitely get what you pay for and only for what you pay. The only major problem was when housekeeping run the laundry machines, the rooms nearby vibrate and its uncomfortable.

Shuttle to airport details should be mentioned clearly before booking rather than knowing till 9:30 pm they operate . Elevator is not working and had to carry all my stuff to 2nd floor on my own. It’s so loud due to traffic and someone kept banging doors around midnight for an hour . Generally don’t write reviews but staff can’t do much when elevator is not working etc.

The shuttle pickup at the airport took 4 calls and 40 minutes

Did not have a shuttle to and from airport had to take a taxi the wood on door frame safety lock look's like it was glued back together after someone kicked the door in,

$10 parking fee is charged, however, there is very limited parking. The front desk personnel (who seems to have been the manager) seemed flippant about the fact that parking may not be available. Basically saying that is all they have. At check in the front desk personnel (who seems to be the manager) did not explain that the card that was presented would only be used for incidentals. This resulted in the wrong credit card being charged. When the hotel was booked expedia listed the property as having breakfast. While technically correct, what they provide is prepackaged mini muffins or bearclaws. Nothing fresh and no beverages. Expedia lists the properties amenities as having a vending machine. However, the vending machine was empty and wouldn't provide a refund. When the front desk was notified they said they would provide a refund "in the morning". However, we had to check out early. It wasn't until I called the next day to complain that the manager stated he would refund the card on file. While the manager did eventually reverse the charges on the wrong card he was neither pleasant nor friendly. There are numerous hotels near SFO with more amenities and one can only assume friendlier staff. When booking a hotel I would look elsewhere.

$10 Parking on site parking was available. The room & parking price were lower than many places we looked at. The room was clean and decently maintained. There was a fridge & microwave. There was a constant sound of traffic from the street but it was more like white noise. What we didn’t like- there was the sensor in the sink area that set off a bright light every time anyone got up to go to the toilet in the night. Expedia said breakfast was from 7am but when we came down and asked about it on the intercom/phone, the staff said it opened at 8am. We needed to leave at 8am, so it was a rush. There wasn’t much for the grab & go breakfast. Just a few breakfast bars and small packaged pastries. No fruit or coffee. When we asked about coffee, we were told it was in the room. 2 packs for the individual coffee pods was what the room had. There were hardly any outlets in the room, and none really conveniently located to charge all of our devices. The bedding was kind of thin. It would have been nice to have an extra blanket. That being said, it was only for 1 night, and for the price I’d say it was a decent stay.

It was great. Everything was nice and clean.

We were coming off a long international flight and just needed a place to stay overnight to rest before our last leg of our journey. The area is a sketchy neighborhood. It's right next to the freeway and the noise is clearly heard in the rooms. The lights outside the rooms were really bright and the shutters on the window didn't block it well enough. When we booked, we read that this hotel offered airport shuttle service. It is not a shuttle that you wait for at the airport. You have to call the hotel, then call their taxi company yourself. They do pay for it however. Very inconvenient and we didn't know this was the procedure beforehand so we waited at the airport for too long. There aren't any restaurants close by. We ended up going to the small liquor store for food. The guy there was very nice but not a lot to choose from. Also very sketchy looking place. The free breakfast is coffee, danishes, granola bars, and fruit. Nothing substantial or hot. The only positives were that the front desk guy was very nice, and the rooms were clean and newish with mini fridge and microwave. Would not recommend.

Clean room close to sfo. We were so tired that we didn't really hear traffic from the freeway clerk was very nice and arranged for our shuttle to the airport in the morning.

The pictures on the website that did not match what it looks like. The door to the room did not close right. The floors were dirty and sticky. The beds were so worn down that you could feel the spring coming out. Also I requested a king bed and was given two queen beds. Also was given only one towel for two people. Had to ask for more towels. The AC was so bad it made way too much noise when it turn on and it would shake. I will not stay here ever again.

Rooms appeared clean until I took a shower, walked to the bed and feet were already black from floor. Little parking, and told there was a box breakfast, but none appeared.

It's was dirty, cheap and they dont even have a coffee pot. I felt bad staying there...

The sheets had a cigarette burn in it. Why not put a brand new one on? Period blood in the towels which looked pretty fresh. I added a picture. They state breakfast but it’s to go items & nasty coffee in the room. No healthy options at all. I’m celiac so no breakfast I could eat

Room was spacious and beds where comfortable. Found Cockroaches in the room and there was mold in the bathroom. Cigarette burns on toilet seat and other furniture

Property is well kept, clean, and esthetically pleasing. The room was medium sized, clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave were a nice added convenience. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Best part is that they offer a free airport shuttle service, even at 5:30 am! Would highly recommend and would stay here again!

The hotel looks homie in the rooms. You had everything you need like a microwave and refrigerator, and a desk. The restrooms were super clean. Loved the room over all except the shutters didnt help keep the light out all the way so the room was pretty lit all night. But than was the only con i had

The WiFi is erratic. Most times it does not work! They misrepresented themselves that there is 'daily breakfast' but it was a 'grab and go' kind of 'breakfast' which is quite a laugh!!!! I paid in cash and the staff had short-changed me without batting an eye! When I asked for the exact amount, she just nonchalantly said that there were 'lots of things on her mind!' Oh well, that is a poor excuse for not using a calculator. I would never have stayed at this hotel if I had read all the negative comments and reviews about this hotel. I had to move to another hotel which was cheaper and they PROVIDED actual daily breakfast. With all my hotel experiences around the world, I must say that I am very disappointed with this one!!! Never again, Thank you!!!

lot of noise did not get enough sleep due to noises.

No curtains on window so street light comes thru the shades. You can here the traffic. It was clean and neat. Friendly people and good customer service.

We were hoping to get a good nights sleep before heading to the airport for a trip, however the extremely loud AC unit as well as a bed that sank to the middle made it impossible

The room did not match the online photos. The property was noisy from a mechanical standpoint. A random stopping and starting all night. Low grade vibration felt at random times. The office staff was never present.

I used this property for a concert i went to, so all i did was sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

This place isn’t anywhere near as nice as the pictures and is run down and felt like a run down hotel. Staff was friendly enough. The road noise from the highway was constant all night. The room had two beds and while one mattress was fine the second one was probably a box spring. Some of the lights didn’t work and door didn’t close properly.

Sufficient for 1 night before catching a flight home. No lobby, only a small room on the ground floor to check in. Family run establishment and check in was easy and fast. Arranged shuttle to the airport for the morning on check in. Room was ok; clean, but a bit worn out. Bed was soft for those who like that, but I would have preferred a firmer mattress. Not much in the area, but a good sandwich place a couple of doors down. Good deal for the price.

I would say to stay it’s good but the employees are just terrible. When I checked in Monday i waited in the lobby about 15 min before getting attended. At check out im waiting to see if there’s anything else needed from me and the lady working the morning was outside in her car and comes gives me an attitude about why I’m ringing them up. while other people are also trying 5 to check out as well. Last time I stay here

Staff was very helpful on late night shift with my booking info.

I was very happy with the service that was provided here. They were kind, caring, and accommodating. Friendly staff and will not hesitate to call them for future stays.

Check in was an intercom and greeting was “what”? Told them I had a reservation and response is “credit card and ID. I’ll be down in a bit”. Felt like an intruder or a trespasser, not a guest. Then standing outside with shady people making my wife and kids nervous waiting.

The staff rude and not helpful. I booked the hotel for two things wifi and shuttle. No wifi and shuttle only until 9 pm so i had to spend money on a lyft as well. When I complained about these things the staff didnt do anything and the lady in the am juts just basically told me she wasnt going to listen to my complaints and hang up on me several times when I was inquiring about the delay or my shuttle for the am. I needed internet to book my flight for next day but I couldn't so i had to leave early to deal with booking at the airport. It is very run down, bathroom dirty as well. Never again

For the price it was what we expected, a room to stay two nights close to the Bart to be able to spend some time at the wharf.

Like the proximity to the freeway, and the airport. It's south of SF so not too much traffic in the area. Close to restaurants and stores. Love the beautiful cool weather as well. Will definely be staying at the hotel on my next trip

I you do not have a car, this is not the hotel you want to stay at.

Convenient location to SFO.

The property was clean and the attendant was great and professional. There was no coffee in the room or coffee maker. Probably my worst aspect. There is a microwave and fridge but no coffee maker, ugh. Access to anything is at keast a 15 minute walk. But it was a super place to stay for layovers.

The hotel was good with cleanliness. The only issue was no breakfast and whole Airport rd looks shady.

For the price, it was totally okay. Small room but everything was clean. The breakfast could’ve been better. If you think you have breakfast at the hotel, you expect more than what it was.

I enjoyed my stay here. The room wasn’t fancy but it was clean and had everything I needed. The breakfast wasn’t fancy but at least they had something. The free shuttle was a nice plus as well. If your flight lands later then the shuttle runs a cheap option is to take the bus from the airport. Google Maps had suggested this as an option and the bus will leave you off right in front of the hotel and the cost is only $2.25.

Our flight had laid over in San Francisco We were hoping to find a nice hotel with breakfast served, when we arrived at the place it looked nothing like the photos and it was very old and decrepit, the bed was very uncomfortable and to our surprise breakfast was coffee and a bar of grain. Definitely not what we paid for.

The food was all pre-packaged. The only small problem was transportation. Small operation so you have to call the hotel and they send a car out. The bed was as comfotable as our one at home. We went on a Carnival Alaskan cruise. I think our transportation would have taken us to our dock.

It says breakfast was included on the Saturday that I was to get this breakfast it was starting at 8 am. other Days Inn had a continental breakfast that started earlier.

The accommodations were very basic, but adequate the disappointment was, it was understood from the advertisement it there was a full breakfast, but the breakfast perfect provided, would not even come up to the expectations of a continental breakfast, as it was a roll and another packaged item and a granola bar with nothing to drink and it is served at 8 o’clock when most people have already left And the second day it was 15 minutes late
