Check in was a nightmare. I booked the room because it is listed on Expedia as pet friendly. Showed up, front desk agent tells us that no pets are allowed. Upon finding this out, they don\'t want to cancel our booking or provide a refund. I contact Expedia and ask them why the hell it is listed as pet friendly, Expedia calls the front desk, and all of a sudden, then hotel IS pet friendly. So we pay to just bring in one pet. Now the problem is that we are not allowed to keep any pets in the van (we had 4 so we were leaving the adults in the van and bringing the puppy inside) and they were trying to force us to bring ALL the pets inside and charge us $25 per pet, threatening to kick us out of the room with no refund if they dogs were to bark. After some back and forth, and another call from Expedia in which they refused to refund us and cancel the booking, they agreed to "letting us do what we want with our own pets". Finally get into the room about 1 hour later. I leave the room for a minute, and when I get back, the key doesn\'t open the door. Another hour and 3 employees later, I have to move rooms because the door wouldn\'t open. Horrible experience. Never again. At this point, I won\'t even be booking through Expedia since they are absolutely useless in the case that something doesn\'t go as planned.

Overall, for the money this was an equivalent trade. It wasn’t as clean as I would have liked with dust in the window seal and lamp shades showing their age. The breakfast felt like a good addition and the customer service was excellent. There is not an elevator so 2nd floor accessibility isn’t possible, unless someone helps you up a flight of stairs.

Over 100 degrees and the pool out of service very frustrating because when I was looking for place to stay I only put the pool as filter I don’t think I would come back!!

Room was clean and comfy , the real only issue is they advertise a pool (which is why we picked there) the POOL HAS NOT WORKED IN YEARS! So, false advertising as far as that goes and when it’s 105 and you have kids…not good

The hotel has a great picture of its pool, it looked so inviting. Yet after you pay and then arrive you realize the pic was fake. There was no water in the pool. So beware if you are traveling with kids that love to swim, they will be very disappointed

The room and staff were great. The rooms were neat and clean however I was disappointed that their pool was shut down as that was one of the reasons I chose to stay here with our kids. It was in the mid 90’s and it would have been nice for them to be able to use the pool.

Clean room for what it was yet smelled like hotel cleaning supplies, all my stuff came home with that smell. Advertised a pool but it was closed and empty, bummed because it was part of why i choose to reserve. Easy check in, decent staff, basic breakfast, safe parking, easy acess to drive to town and freeway. Seems like staff care.

Affordable without being dirty or cutting corners is what I look for. Checkout at 11 is also great. An ice machine that works and a soda machine that accepts credit cards is also great, which they had. The shower was adequate and the tv had current technology, which was great. I always like going into my YouTube account To watch my stuff.

As always, this property is a great value with extremely clean rooms, comfy beds, good amenities and a totally terrific management and staff. This was perhaps my 7th or 8th time at Ukiah’s Quality Inn.

The hotel front, parking lot, and outside of the hotel was clean but the room was not very clean. The carpet was badly stained, there was hair in the coffeemaker so I stopped making coffee and went and bought some elsewhere. The host was kind. I recommend they get carpet cleaners in and do a solid deep clean of the room.

I have stayed at this property several times. It’s always been fine. This time there were fleas in my room. I collected several of them in a cup of water and gave them to the manager. I told him about this. There were also pieces of cereal in the dresser drawer, and a bottle of Gatorade left in the refrigerator from the prior occupants. I was surprised that the manager did not offer me any sort of discount or refund. I don’t think I’ll stay there again.

I reserved and paid for a room with 2 QUEEN beds. The room had full size beds which are considerably smaller than queen and they were quite uncomfortable. The door to the room had hinges that were not aligned. It was extremely difficult to close the door and nearly impossible to engage the deadbolt which severely impacted my ability to feel safe in the room. I paid $50 More for the night than I did when I stayed there 9 weeks ago, unless they make major improvements I will remove this location from my future options.

The rooms were very good for the price (the least expensive in town when I visited). Both the room and bathroom were larger than average. The furnishings and appliances (including large for a hotel fridge and microwave) looked new. For a motel in this location I expected a little noise, but it was fairly quiet. However, next time I’ll request away from the stairs. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. And, perhaps best of all, the rooms included a free full breakfast, complete with hot food. All in all, we got more than we expected for our overnight stay. I would’ve been satisfied if the room had been $20 more a night. So as it is, it’s a fantastic bargain.

The bed was really comfortable and very nice for an over night stay. The only thing I did not like about the room was the fact the refrigerator was not working; it was disappointing when our food we had left over was no good the next morning.

Staff super unhelpful - booking was made by accident at 8PM for the same day - and 5 min later we tried to cancel, but apparently their cancelation policy says they can only cancel before 4PM - how can I cancel before 4PM if booking is made at 8PM??? They stick to their nonsense policy no matter what. Enjoy your well earned $100.

I would not choose to stay at this Quality Inn again. The room was fine but the quality of service was poor at best. Note that this was a room paid in advance. We were delayed in our trip and didn’t arrive until very late—about 1 am. I had called the desk in the afternoon to let them know our ETA and was told that was fine, check in is allowed until 7am. When we got there I was told that my ground floor King room I had requested had been given away to someone else and they had none available. I was offered a smoking room (I am allergic) or a second floor room (my husband has a walking disability that makes stairs too challenging). I was exhausted from the trip and this was not something I wanted to hear. After I read the attendant the riot act, he very reluctantly offered me a double queen room on the ground floor, like it was a huge favor to me. He would not have offered it had I not been unpleasant. Other items of note—I made this booking and very shortly after I made it a family member called to see if I wanted to share accommodations with her, only about about an hour after I booked. knew I had booked a no refund room but called Expedia to ask if I could cancel. They called the site and were told absolutely not, even though I had only completed the booking about an hour before. No time to change your mind, you book it here and you pay no matter what. You also get the ornament of a filthy mop laid across the bushes in front of your room free of charge.

We had to wait quite a long time for the desk person to show up and check us in. No bell or anything to get their attention. Finally had to try getting into the bathroom where they must have hidden themselves. Room was okay. I would like a more comfortable mattress and more pillows (at least 2 per person). Breakfast was okay, one sausage was too hard to bite the rest of the breakfast was okay.

Two weeks after stay and still waiting for deposit! Last call to check with hotel they hung up on me during a civil inquiry. As a traveler, it is impossible to have hotels holding deposits this long. In the last week I would have a thousand dollars unavailable if all hotels were this slow.

This Quality Inn is one of the best managed and cleanest facilities I’ve found in the area. It’s a “family operation” with superb staff and manager. I’ve stayed at this location perhaps a dozen times this year and will be back again next week.

The interiors are old but clean. The air conditioner was nice and cool. It's a great budget 2-star hotel in a small town. What stood out was their friendly staff. The two front-desk gentlemen Jay and Kenny plus the two cleaning ladies Ebi and Estrella were very friendly and helpful! I will definitely consider coming back when I'm in town again. :-)

Restaurants and dining options were walking for driving distance. Seriously, I drove to Kin Khao Thai for dinner and it was like a 2-3 min drive. The bed was comfy and the room was set up nicely. The bathroom has built in hand soap, body wash and shampoo. I stayed for 3 days and I didn't really need housekeeping for anything, even though the man at front desk said if I needed anything, to let housekeeping know since they won't come to clean/organize your room b/c I was staying for more than a day. I went to a state park like 20 min drive so it wasn't too bad. There's an aquarium minutes away too so the hotel's location is very convenient

We were impressed that throughout the evening we noticed employees actually going around and checking on things and cleaning. Because of that we felt safe even tho this location isn’t exactly the best neighborhood overall.

Good stop on the way to Northern CA. Friendly staff, clean room, all good solid basic amenities. Very nice breakfast with both hot and cold offerings. Will definitely return when in the area.

Honestly, this hotel is absolutely amazing. You get a free breakfast. (Eggs, sausage, cereal,toast, yogurt, pastries. Theres milk, orange juice apple juice hot water for tea and hot coffee and THERES A WAFFLE BAR!) Absolutely awesome for the price! The rooms are clean and roomy. I will choose this hotel AT ANY TIME over any other hotel.
