Quality Inn & Suites Union City - Atlanta South

The stay started out rough. checked in and the elevator was not working. was told they were fixing it in 30 mins. room was on the top floor (4th) so had to carry our stuff up the stairs. During the night, the fire alarm kept going off. It would start, then stop... then 5-10 mins later start again. Was woken up 4 times due to that. (Friend was trying to fall asleep at that same time, they didn't get to sleep until about 12:30am, due to that alarm. alarm clock in the room was preset from previous occupant. for 6am, was earlier than our phone alarms were set for. Breakfast... starts at 6, got there about 6:30. No eggs at all. Sausage in the warmers wasn't all that warm. Toaster wasn't working. It wasn't plugged in. when trying to plug it in, the outlet wouldn't allow the plug into the outlet. So no toasting anything. the juice machine wasn't setup correctly. OJ was OJ, Apple Juice was Water. Water was Water and the cranberry juice was watered down.

Love that they had a pool and hot tib

My family and I recently took a kind of last minute trip down to Atlanta to go to the aquarium. We made a weekend out of it, and you should too. I looked at the pictures, checked to make sure they offered breakfast, booked the room, and we headed out about two hours. I started reading some of the reviews on the way down because why not- I was forced to be a passenger princess so I chose to read so I wasn’t a passenger problem.The reviews were mixed- I asked myself a couple of times if I maybe should cancel and book elsewhere but I chose not to because yolo. We were scheduled to get there late, and I didn’t want to pivot so late into the last minute plan.We arrived about 12 am. The lobby was clean and empty, not full of people. The kitchen area was visible and clean. The sweet gentleman who checked us in handled my goofy jokes pretty well- I was basically delirious after being in the car with said toddlers referenced above. Check in was super fast- there is a $100 hold on a card required but if you travel a lot you should know that exists because people are the reason no one can have nice things. We grabbed our stuff and headed upstairs. The hallway was lime green and I was so happy about it. Finally! A hotel space that isn’t millennial beige! The room was super nice and clean! The two beds were super comfy! There were so many pillows- the kids really enjoyed playing in them! The pool was open and super nice. I will stay here every time we drive down and you should too!

Property advertised various amenities which DID NOT WORK and or were not available-particularly Airport shuttle, heated pool, and jet spa. The breakfast was skimpy and finally the bathroom was moldy. Do not recommend.

Hotel provided long-term parking at a reasonable rate, matched with an airport shuttle, which really smoothed out some travel challenges. They also provide an early breakfast. 6:00 AM; but actually started a bit earlier than that.

Omg!!! I definitely enjoyed my stay at Quality Inn... the staff definitely made me feel welcomed when i arrived on Sunday andcwhen i left on Monday at checkout. The pool was warm and inviting. The shuttle was able to make my flight home to NC easily in time. Id absolutely recommend staying at this property.

My family and I were just staying for one night. The room was clean. The one thing that I was disappointed in was that the shampoo bottle was empty. We didn’t get the chance to experience the pool, but it didn’t look like it was descent water quantity. The only way that I can describe it is that the water looked frozen on top. There was some sort of film-looking stuff on top the water.

This was the worst experience. There was spit everywhere in the pool we couldn’t even use it. The pillows were little. The bed was stiff and it looked nothing like the pictures.

Facilities were okay. Pool & hot tub looked VERY clean but we arrived way to late to find out. Woke up after breakfast was done being served as well so cannot speak on that. While the room wasn’t top tier, it was great for 1 nights sleep.. tv remote didn’t work. This said, Andy was AMAZING at checkout!!

It was cool we were beside the big studio and the pool was nice. Front desk was nice also. Need more parking.

I was very displeased with this location. Cleanliness, attention to detail and some updating needs to be done. From the moment I pulled into the parking lot I knew I would not stay a second night. The bathroom had no toiletries, the lights half worked and the back of the bathroom door was so dirty. The carpet in the room was coming apart, the drawers for the dresser were broken, the shower had horrible mildew and I refused to shower there. I don’t know if this was an isolated situation, but from the appearance of the elevators, I would say this is not.

I booked a room at the Quality Inn & Suites Union City Atlanta South and was extremely disappointed. The first room I was shown had a terrible smell, and the next one actually had roaches on the bed. The carpet throughout smelled bad and felt unclean. Within just five minutes of checking in, I decided to leave and find another hotel. To make matters worse, getting a refund was a hassle even though I didn’t stay the night. The entire experience was frustrating and uncomfortable. I strongly recommend asking to see the room before you hand over your card. Definitely not worth the money or the stress. Rooms look nothing like the pictures

Dirty nasty carpet bathroom dirty no cable in room front desk lady checked us in a room then came too the room and made us move too another room 1am in the morning with my child

As soon as I checked in my room there was a bedbug on the bed they would not refund me my money hotel is very disgusting pool dirty no security at front door at night people live in the hotel. The cook was very dirty. It just was a bad experience. I will never stay here again.

The property smelled strongly of weed and cigarettes, despite being a smoke-free hotel. The room smelled like cigarettes for our entire stay and there were stains on the blankets. Other than that, the beds were comfortable and the staff was helpful. The bathroom was very clean.

I needed somewhere to stay for a quick night and selected this location because the reviews said the hotel was clean. This hotel was not that clean. When I arrived to check in the staff member was asleep at the desk. The first room they gave us smelled really bad, honestly it reaked of urine, so I went down and got a new room. The second room did not smell, however, it could’ve been cleaner. The toilet paper that was on the holder had a slight tan/brown stain that sealed into the toilet paper, so I trashed the whole roll. I also took a photo of it. I know this property isn’t properly cleaned because I forgot my slippers and decided to just walk around the room in my socks, and my socks were filthy. I will never stay here again, I also wish people were honest. The 2 tables in the lobby had stains on them, I believe in a properly cleaned hotel, those tables would have been clean.

The beds were terrible, the first room I was in had bugs in-between the mattress and box springs. The second was dirty with all kinds of other people's hair in it.

Cigarettes holes in the bed quilt and it was a no-smoking room. The bathroom was not cleaned. The worker just appeared to just placed clean linen and not paid attention to detail. .deatailstw4ilet ty

Bathroom was gross. Tub was filled with water when we first arrived. Guy came to drain it bc we were not touching it. Once the water was out— the tub was so nasty at the bottom. Didn’t even use the shower. Went home to shower. Pointless stay.

Needs more cleaning

Our Wi-Fi in our room didn’t work we were unaware that we had to pay for an100 deposit and it didn’t say that on the Expedia app breakfast was horrible no cable the tv only had 4 channels didn’t give extra towels or rags

It has been a while since this hotel was maintained. The best part of the stay was that the bed was very comfortable, but the shower head was disconnected from the wall and the hall had a dingy appearance and funky smell. Breakfast was very sparse and had limited choices. Not what I typically expect from a Quality Inn.

Our beds were comfy, but the pillows felt old and fairly flat. The sheets felt a little worn as well. Our friends had a hole in them.

Lots of things in need of repair, and fixing. Not one of the better quality inns.

The bed was comfortable. The shower was good. There were no weird smells. The breakfast was served cold but they provided a microwave to warm it up.

Everything was great - except the wifi .

The bed was comfortable and it was a good price. The key cards stopped working pretty much every time we left the room and in room AC unit was quite noisy.

Lack of parking at night, hot tub looked like soup, and the pool area had an extremely musty odor. Room phones didn't work, and bathroom sink was clogged.

Room did not have adequate lighting, telephone in room did not work,once reported to the front desk no one never came. Very noisy at night.

Check in staff nice friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Breakfast was ok.Only thing that lets this place down is that it is older in need of a freshen up

It's not what it is on the pictures. They gave me a room that was occupied by someone else. It was a horrible experience. They guy didn't even know someone was checked into that room. He apologized but that wasn't enough. Me and my children were shaken as we could have been hurt for entering someone else room without notice. Ask for a refund and they are giving me a hard time on getting my money back. Do Not stay here at all. It's a catfished hotel And it stinks.

Great stay good price. Clean rooms and a really great staff. Andy at the front desk was there to help with a travel issue I was having and resolved it with no problems.

Pavan was really nice and showed how customer service should be provided to the guests upon arrival and departure. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff is very rude and ive been charged another 150 just to stay in the same room and I had to leave work today just to straighten things out that could have been handled over the phone!! Omg ive never been treated so poorly! And i have a artistic child who cant be too hot! Im furious

TV want working, person working front desk was of no help . The gentlemen was rude and refused to accommodate in any way. Loud guests with police cars outside all night. Nice place just run by rude people and located in a bad area. As much as it cost to stay here you could find somewhere with better service / better area.

I called as our delayed flight was boarding (after I booked the room) to ask about shuttle service from the airport. I told the front desk I had an hour and a half flight and my flight was due to get in at 1215AM (after baggage it would be well after 1230AM. He said “no problem, give us a call when you land and we will send the shuttle to get you. I called several times and talked to several people after we landed because NO ONE was picking up the phone at the front desk of the hotel. FINALLY a lady said she would call the emergency number for the hotel manager. The manager informed her that their shuttle service ended at 12:00 and that no one would come pick us up! They were going to leave a paid customer at the airport stranded!!!! I’m furious at their horrible customer service! We have been traveling all day and dealing with cancelled and delayed flights to have them not offer the service we paid for! I requested a cancellation so I could get a hotel room with a hotel that had a shuttle and Ramada came through where my booked hotel failed! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service on Choice hotels part!!

Room was good Clean sheets Needs vacuuming(nail trimming next to bed) Staff was friendly and helpful. Your front clerk ( Andy)was excellent host

It felt very unsafe. People were heckling patrons in the parking lot. Ended up not going for dinner, just stayed in the room. Pool was closed, (not advertised), waffle iron broken, smoke alarm kept beeping, and loud shouting from the room next door….won’t be going back. On the plus side, it was clean.

The area felt safe, and the location was excellent — close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions, which made getting around really easy. The hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The breakfast was surprisingly good with plenty of options. Overall, a great choice for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay.

It was good on the property but everything surrounding it was unsafe

Walmart, Walgreens, Burger King, McDonalds, Dollar Tree all within walking distance.

Located around good places to eat

I felt unsafe to stay in the room due to the condition I found the room in and the location of the hotel. A very unsafe neighborhood. I did not stay in the room. I ended up going to another hotel several miles away. The lamp shades were stained. The lamp on the night stand was stained, there were stains on the carpet, the bathtub had mildew, the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall, there were stains on the walls. There were things that had been pulled off the walls, leaving holes that had been poorly patched. I chose this hotel because of the rating of 6.8 this is NOT a 6.8 hotel and not one that I would recommend.

Convenient location and convenient parking

The location was fine. Staff was good. People were allowed to smole right outside the main door. People were loitering in the parking lot and a homeless person was sleeping in the parking lot. Parking lot is a bit too small.

The convenience of Krogers up the block from the hotel.. couple of restaurants to get food close by. Also A small shopping center a block away.

I always have to travel for family or work reasons, but I can tell you one thing: this hotel is the best I've ever been to. The entire staff is completely friendly, they take care of everything, the hotel is clean; the breakfast is delicious, free coffee 24 hours a day, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, and laundry service is available 24/7. I loved it.

I came in from out of state..Was looking for a place that I could bring my Mom! She likes sitting in the Jacuzzi! We loved the waffles at breakfast! The staff were very pleasant as well
