Last minute decision to be in a motel vs camp in the windy weather was such a great decision. The place was clean, pet friendly. I like the vinyl plank floors. They seem so much cleaner than carpet.

I have stayed at this location many times over the past 30 years. The property is showing its age. There are no USB ports. Outlets are all behind furniture. Extension cords had to be used to power beside lamp. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and in good condition. The person at the front desk in the evening/overnight was less than friendly. I got the feeling that he felt annoyed when I asked a couple of questions. No smiles and barely spoke to anyone while checking them in. For information purposes: *No elevator - be sure to request 1st floor if you can't do stairs *No automatic doors *Tub/Shower not walk-in (at least in the room I had)

Air conditioning did not work well. Room did not cool down. Property old and dated. Fitness room is two pieces of exercise equipment and a couch. Breakfast was convenient but not the best. The guests above us were very loud. Lots of banging and seemed you could hear everything. Room was comfortable and felt safe. Don’t think we would stay here again. Room price high for what you get.

Very surprised it was rated so high 7.8, room was rated at an 8.8 very run down. carpet was filthy needed to be cleaned and at least vacuumed. I feel that Days inn deceived us and so did hotel.Com

As others have mentioned, there aren’t a lot of outlets you can use/they are inconvenient. The room was partially updated, clearly new carpet, but other parts of the room were more dated. Besides that, things were clean and the room was quiet, which is 95% of what I ask for!

Definitely an older property. There was about 2 outlets and without having to plug in a couple things of my own they were overloaded. Maybe add a couple more. Most likely I’ll be back next time though.

Not many choices in Alamosa. This is am older property but it is qell maintained. Great bed!!!! Friendly staff. The location is somewhat industrial bit within a 5 minute drive to restaurants and downtown. This is the best place I've stayed in Alamosa. The ither motels I've stayed in were all a bit iffy. Whenever I come back I will definitely stay here.

Property very convenient to Great Sand Dunes national park and not far from Downtown. I was traveling alone and felt safe. Hotel definitely needs upgrades but it was clean. Staff were friendly and it was quite in the hotel and area. Breakfast selection wasn't bad. Just don't expect buffet. It's more continental type of breakfast. Good place to stay a night or two.

Yes, it’s a bit dated but this is Alamosa - the whole town is basically dated. Room was clean, bathtub is deep and shaped for soaking - welcome after an afternoon on the sand dunes! Beds were comfortable. Light from the parking lot came in around the curtains, so if a pitch dark room is a necessity, ask for a room on the back side. Breakfast was VERY basic but coffee was decent! It was a good hotel for the very low price. Great for a quick overnight stay.

The continental breakfast was not really a continental breakfast. No coffee, no fruit very disappointing. The bed was nice and clean but the hotel is very dated and carpet was worn and dirty. Staff were friendly. I would not recommend.

The breakfast was just bars and packaged cereal/oatmeal. You could see from in the hallway a crack into our room with the door shut.
