The staff was super friendly, they texted us to make sure we were still coming in since we were arriving on the later side of check in times. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was a bit spotty but understandable for the location. There are lots of parking available and the room was a great value. Breakfast is next door and you get a good selection of options to choose from. Only complaint was we could hear our neighbours who had their TV all night and day but that is not the motel’s fault. Location is also close to Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Hotel room was not up to date as others have stated. Towels had stains and holes in them. The sheets didn’t look they were changed. Pillow case had stains also. On a good note, they did you give a voucher for breakfast next door which was very good. On more thing, they didn’t let me know they were not coming in to straighten out, which is ok but should have let me know about that.

The shower was pretty dirty. The shower curtain had a lot of brown stains splattered over where you would grab it to move the curtain. The tile and tub surround wasn't well maintained. Are you really saving any money by not having the fridge and microwave plugged in when guests arrive? Beds were nice. Room was clean otherwise. It was surprising to have an actual key at a hotel. It wasn't immediately apparent how to lock the door, but it's locked by default and can only be opened with the key.

location was good. we stayed here to have a launching point to the dunes. nearby food selection was good. the breakfast included was probably the best "included" breakfast ive had. rooms are remodeled, not modern styles but look good.

This a recently renovated motel . The room was spacious with cool vintage furniture and decor. Very clean . Good comphy mattress, only downside we’re hard pillows and small scratchy towels. . Breakfast vouchers for an adjoining cafe, was nice to have real tasty food. Alamosa is close to the amazing Great Sand Dunes National Park and gorgeous mountains and hot springs. We will return

I had the most enjoyable stay at The Dunes over three nights. I was traveling solo to photograph the Dec Full Moon over the Sand Dunes. It was great proximity to the dunes. The room was quiet, comfortable, and very budget friendly. I felt very safe there and it was close to many bars and restaurants. I accidentally left my coat at the motel and they quickly informed me of a left item, which I really appreciated. They the. Worked with me nicely to get it back to me. The Dunes of Alamosa is a place I look forward to visit again. They have truly earned my repeat blessing through, value, trust, and friendliness. Eric Lillard

Some sort of weird banging noises at 3 in the morning from a ac or heating unit. Not call back to my room or on my cell to resolve this terrible issue. Never stay there again.

We always stay here when passing through. Great value for the money. Very clean. Good cooked to order breakfast included. Walkable to downtown and to the local park and to walking trails along the Rio Grande. I always feel safe here.

Seems to be the only hotel on the historic Main Street which is cute and walkable. Location is good for restaurants and access to nearby activities. Motel is obviously older but very clean and spacious.

Nice, clean, simple rooms but the only issue was that there was no vegetarian breakfast at the café, which was outside the property. The lady serving the breakfast was rude. We ended up returning our breakfast coupons and eating out.

The free breakfast isn't the best and orange juice is baby small. Biscuit and gravy is just that, ONE biscuit. Bacon wasn't all the way cooked. We topped the waitress and chose to eat somewhere else. Room was clean but mattress was super noisy and worn out.

We had a great stay at the Dunes Inn and would definitely return if we come through again. Not a long drive to the National Park and it is a.block away from an adorable downtown shop area. The free breakfast was FANTASTIC! The cute little cafe makes your free breakfast TO ORDER. GENIUS!!! You have a choice between 4 or 5 breakfast platters. No buffet, so there's less waste. LOVE!

Actually cleaned my room without me asking. A rarity these days. Tired of lousy hotel breakfasts? This place gives a ticket to an adjacent restaurant where you get a wide choice of cooked breakfasts! Excellent.
