Elevation Lodge

I stayed in Room no 23. And the showers didn’t work as expected. It takes good arm workout to make the showers work. The bathroom is so small that you can even turn. The hairdryer is from the 60s can even think of using it because of the electrical shock. The beds were surprisingly clean but the carpet is bad. Overall room smells like cigarettes.

This is a budget hotel so expectations are lower. We booked last minute due to a winter storm and got stuck in tahoe. They ran out of rooms so they moved us across the street to sister hotel elevation hotel which had lower reviews so i didn’t book that but i had no choice. The bedsheets had cigarette burn hole, walls had patchy paint, live wire behind the cabinet, you can hear everything from outside, and room had a weird stench. Pros was it had a microwave and a heater. Good enough for a night to sleep in.

Bathroom toilet was clogged.
