Property was clean in the main areas however rooms were lacking. Rooms were also quite worn but beds were comfortable. The included breakfast was a great addition and very welcome for our family. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub a few times which were both clean. Staff was great and helpful. Grounds of the property need attention and pet areas drastically need to be expanded and maintained.

We had a great stay. Staff was very helpful and kind. Hotel was clean. They offered free coffee tea and hot coco. Breakfast was good got breakfast and cold stuff offered. Had eggs and meat waffles with different types of toppings like strawberry. Room was handicap as i was traveling with a handicap person. It was great space in the room. Pool and hot tub were great too.

Bathroom sink faucet extremely loose. Bathroom door needs paint touch-up. Shower WAY too small for bigger people. Elevators need upgraded. Mini-fridge needs a freezer. Bed was uncomfortable. Otherwise, everything was great.

My 6 year old loved the pool and hot tub. Otherwise, this was one of the dumpier Hampton inns that we have stayed at. Staff was basically nonexistent, and when they were there, they didn’t know much. Remote for tv didn’t work. And despite calls, they didn’t come fix it. Coffee at front desk was cold. Pool area is dated and slippery. And pool is shared with someone doing lessons for kids. (He was super kind and helpful though. Actually more helpful than any of the paid staff.) Bottom line, It did the trick as we were attending a wedding in the area. But I probably won’t stay here again.

Ice machine in hallway beeped all night, keeping us up! The floor in elevator was filthy and was that way all weekend. The Highway is right behind the building and was noisy all night. The Pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows we have ever layed on. Needs a Remodel!!!

We booked the hotel mainly due to the pool pictures looking great, but the pool area was uninviting, looked dirty and didn’t give us the confidence to swim. Hot tub had a yellow tint to it. Room was okay, but we did find someone else’s underwear behind the side table. Breakfast was great! It was great we could bring our dog!

The bathroom cleanliness was questionable there was debris in the corners under the bathroom vanity. Couldn’t see well enough what the debris was could have been dead bugs but I’m not sure. Was black in color and the were multiple. The back of the bathroom door was bubbling and rotting from moisture damage. There was a fungi/mushroom growing on the bottom left corner of the bathroom mirror from the moisture or it could have been cardboard from the back of the mirror but it looked like a fungus again I couldn’t it see well enough. I was too tired from all my travel to even complain or question it. The beds were clean.

Our room was right next to the interstate side of the hotel so very noisy. The first room we were in there was a loud humming vibrating noise in the wall next to the beds that would not go away. The night manager was nice and moved us to an available room, which we greatly appreciated. Not rumbling in the wall. Room was closer to the interstate so we had truck noise to contend with. With a nice fan it evened out the noise.

We booked a King room, but received a double queen room. No biggie. The door, we had a huge problem with. Room 222, the door\'s width is about 1/4" too narrow for the door frame. When closed and locked, there was a narrow gap where you could literally see into the hallway while standing in our room. I went into the hallway, hubby shut the door and locked it, then held up some fingers. Standing very close to the door gap in the hallway, I could easily see my husband in the room and how many fingers he was holding up. Super creepy to have this gap in the doorway! There were 2 phones in the room, neither worked. And the bed comforters, although gorgeous, were super heavy in weight and very hot for a July stay, even with the AC on. There weren\'t any other bed blanket options, just the bottom sheet, top sheet, and very heavy in weight comforters/duvets.

Very helpful staff! Alex is amazing and helped save a cat that was dumped near the hotel! You need more people like him! Hotel was a good stay, the rooms could use a little care, the bathroom door needs a pain lt job and the fridge made a weird noise so we unplugged it. Beds were comfy, breakfast was average, and the place was in a good location.

We did not get the type of room we had booked. We had booked a room to sleep 5. Arrived to a single king and a pull out couch. The room smelled of cat pee, the window was open, and apparently they must have known this because someone left their cell phone in the room I'm guessing after complaining and being relocated. We went to the front desk and was told there were no other rooms available, so we had to stay in it. The toilet also howled when flushed. The next morning after asking for the manager and they were off that day, the guy at the front desk said he would move our room that afternoon. Upon our arrival, that didn't happen and we were forced back into the same room. I was told by another person at the front desk they don't even have accommodations for 5 and was kind of brunt about it. The next morning upon our departure I again asked for the manager. Again they were not available. The first guy I talked to said he would refund our entire stay, I haven't seen it as of yet.

I didn’t stay, I realized after I made reservation that it was wrong days . Within 5 minutes tried to change. Called motel they wouldn’t let me. Tried Expedia they wouldn’t let me. Pretty sad when you try and no one would help me . Wouldn’t refund money. Terrible service!

I drove 16 hours to visit my daughter and grandchildren. I was exhausted when we arrived. The check in went so smoothly, I was in my room in less than 10 minutes. The shower was clean, roomy and hot, just what I needed. The rooms were remarkably spotless. They clean the rooms every other day including changing sheets. The beds were so comfortable, I could have remained in bed the entire trip. Every person who was employed, were super friendly and willing to help I’m any way possible. Breakfast was superb. I was different daily. One morning scrambled egg as and sausage., fried eggs with bacon, yesterday was inlets and smoked sausage. There was a huge bowl of fruit, oatmeal, different breads and yogurt. When I return to Castle Rock for a visit, I will definitely stay here. Thank you for making my stay so enjoyable. Delores Mullings
