Rockview Hotel Castle Rock Downtown

Just needed a room for the night. And that what I got. Not fancy but good enough. Only thing I didn’t like was the smokers kept the door propped open and fill hallway with cigarette smell

Ac didn’t work in the room got moved to another, our neighbors had dogs so they barked off and on through the night a little annoyed but whatever dog are dogs but when my son went to take a shower one of the towels looked like it had either blood or poop stains on it absolutely disgusted by this place no breakfast and no elevator will never be back. The only positive was the lady at the front desk she was very polite and worked quickly to move us out of the room with no ac.

The staff weren't welcoming and the spoke so soft we couldn't hear what they were saying. The outdoors had a lot of trash, not a tidy area. The soda machines were out of order

The hall reeked of dog piss and cigarette smoke,the room no air conditioner my husband had to clean the filter to get it to work the bed was so uncomfortable it sank in the middle, no vending machines all were out of Oder no breakfast at all will not be staying with this place again just plain gross

Didn’t realize this “new” hotel chain is actually buying/utilizing old old hotels. Had booked King bed room, none available at check-in. Front desk staff very nice and apologetic. Multi-level hotel but NO elevators- stairway carpet old, uneven with narrow tread width. Hallways narrow, lobby and rooms small. Bed, however, new and very comfortable. Located next door to a bar- noisy fights next door, noisy and fighting in hallways of hotel, dogs barking in hotel until midnight.

Staff was great. No elevator I have a bad knee

The bed was comfortable and clean. The room itself was clean as well. A/C blew really cold, so that was awesome to have for having almost 100 degree weather. The parking was good, and having our room window to be able to see the car in case anything happened was great

Pretty good little hotel a short drive from downtown Castle Rock. Parking lot was apparently pretty small for the number of guests, got back late from a wedding reception at a friend's house and there were zero parking spaces left.

The property looked nice, wonderful parking. Set when I went to the back door to go into the Building, it was trash stump like cigarettes, and it stuck like someone peed.

One of the cleanest hotels I've been in. There was an issue with the shower and the water only being luke warm, but that was a mixer valve issue that i told them about so they can fix it. The water in the sink was hot. I did not appreciate the "either you pay a $50 deposit on the room or a $5 immediate charge for housekeeping fees. That is ridiculous as the cleaning is not an extra fee unless you tear the room up etc. Clean room, nice helpful folks, would rather the location was better, but that cant be helped.

The room was stinky with cigarette smoke. It was clean and convenient. There was no art on the walls which I found kind of strange.

Check in was easy and quick and staff were friendly and professional. Great value and room was as advertised. Clean and comfortable. Only disappointment was the continental breakfast, not much offered.

1. The room stunk. Although it was reasonably clean, there were things like multiple cigarette burns on the side of the bathtub, ratty furniture... 2. But the bigger issue was the noise. It was noisy every night until the early hours. I'm not sure what was going on above my room, but it made no sense. It sounded like the incessant moving of furniture. I called the desk, no change. I banged on the ceiling, they banged back. Place is a dump.

Clean and quiet, but very basic. Rooms do have a refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was basic: coffee, donuts, yogurt and fruit. Price was well below other hotels in the area.

Odd stains on the the comforter, mold on the shower curtain, the AC unit randomly worked and there was several people under the influence of something shouting at the top of their lungs in the hallway. Making threats to one another around 7pm. I wasn't about to listen to that all night so I decided to drive home. Paid $94 to get ready for my event and left. What a waste, 100% do not recommend.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, it was nothing like the description or pictures. This hotel is very unclean as we had baby roaches in our bed and we’re only limited to 3 towels. I was also offered crack from one of the other guest staying within the hotel. I had to remove myself from the enviornment without any regard for early check out or refund because u just wanted out of the bad situation

Bed was comfortable, some stains on the sheets. A/C was loud af and didn’t quite get the room cooked. TV was meh. Overall 7/10

I finally turned it off and opened the window after dark (I was on the second floor). It helped cool the room and was quiet, so I did get some sleep. Breakfast did not open til 7:30 and that was after the time I needed to leave. The desk clerk did let me grab a yogurt and a couple bottles of water to take with me.

We checked in at 10:30 p.m. No problems with that. However, the room was very cold, and there wasn't a way to adjust that. Also, the mattress was so uncomfortable I didn't get any sleep; I was forced to lie on my back rather than on either side. Meanwhile, a dog occasionally barked down the hall, and someone decided to watch TV at a loud volume at around midnight. Painful lesson learned in booking a cheap hotel.

The staff was great, friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, however I had no hot water in the shower and it was very chilly early in the morning! Beyond that I really have no complaints. It's a budget motel. If you're mad that it's not fancier at the price you're paying, than you don't get out enough.

Did not change bed for sheet and towel do nothing all week

We didn’t end up staying. The place was dirty, rum down, terrible smell. The person that was working the desk was high on something, completely unhelpful, and downright rude. We got billed, paid for a night we didn’t stay. Worst experience EVER!

The room was clean but there wan no maid service for my entire 5 day stay. The tv had very few channels and the window did not lock. This was important because my room was on the ground floor. The rate was very reasonable but you get what you pay for.

The lady working the front desk was very friendly, and helpful we were arriving at 2:00 AM and she did offer to extend our check out till 12 noon.

Both desk clerks with whom I had the privilege of speaking were extremely nice. Refreshing after a long day!

This was a work stay and the staff are so accommodating! I’m here once a week and won’t stay anywhere else! Quiet, clean, comfortable rooms!

The first room we were given the key card didn’t work~at check in there was some confusion as to what room we were supposed to be in. The card envelope had 213 on it but when Mario handed me the envelope he said 216~it was preassigned before we arrived so we went to 216. I went back downstairs to front desk & he changed us to room 213. We went into 213 & it smelled terrible! It was definitely not a non smoking room. The window was open I’m assuming to air it out but that didn’t do any good as we were later told that’s where people go to smoke~right under our window & there was a bar adjoining with the parking lot & a lot of smoke comes from there as well. Anyways, I went back down to the front desk to see if we could get another room but he was busy checking in someone else so I went back to room 213 & we decided to do a chat with hotels.com to see if we could just get a refund. We just weren’t feeling too good about this hotel. In the parking lot there was a motorhome on blocks with 2 tires missing & it looked like someone was living in it. There was also a car that had no windows in it & a tarp over it. In the chat I was told the hotel would have to approve the refund & she would try to get ahold of the hotel. She tried to call many times but there was no answer. I went back to the front desk to see if we could get a refund & was given the excuse hotels.com has to call us to get a refund & I said they’ve been trying to call,no one answered. And I’m out of space

Easy check in, polite staff, nice property, close to shopping, dining, and entertainment.

Great stay with an affordable price! The room was clean and comfy. The hotel location is within a walking distance to the Castle Rock downtown area where you can find Colorado's best breweries along with fine dine-in restaurants. We will stay here again!

Good location. Close to highway and you can walk to restaurants or fast food/take out options.

The best part was waffle house was just across the street.

The evening desk clerk was so personable and helpful. It's an older hotel but remodeled/updated. The location is somewhat sketchy but there were no issues. I have no complaints.

It is an older building, with some issues. But for the price of the stay, its not bad. Thr staff is friendly and helpful. The location is amazing you are close to everything you need.

The breakfast was donuts, yogurt, and juice. So don't expect anything fancy. But we were in town for a beer festival, so just one night. So for our purpose, the hotel was fine. I'd stay again.

Economical hotel that met my needs for a room. Breakfast is not much, but there is something. I've stayed at far more expensive places that offered nothing.

Grab and go breakfast was advertised but there is no breakfast. I had to use a shared refrigerator to store spare coffee. The receptionist said morning have a cookie and coffee which the former is not diabetic friendly nor healthy
