Table Mountain Inn is a jewel - a lovely property in the foothills of the Rocky Mountain Front Range, in a well-done Southwest/Mexican theme, with views of the interesting "Table Mountain" (and of the Coors distillery a few blocks away). We've stayed there before before heading into the mountains for a ski vacation. The food in the Cantina is semi-upscale Mexican cuisine, with some standard American options. The only disappointment was arriving there this year to find the previously included guest parking garage is now mandatory valet parking, at $20/night. They said it was because people had abused the free parking, but other hotels have easily controlled access to their guest parking without imposing what is essentially a junk fee. We like the place well enough we'll likely be back next year, but that surprise spoiled an otherwise perfect visit.

We had a last-minute change of plans due to weather and needed a hotel for one night close to Denver. We've stayed at another more expensive hotel in Golden before, so we were familiar with the area. The quality of the Table Mtn Inn was exceptional. The only problem, which wasn't that big, was that the valets didn't show up to work, so we had to park ourselves. They were kind enough to waive the $25 parking fee, however, so we were happy with the situation. We really liked the room we had and thought the furnishings looked recently updated. We would definitely stay at this hotel again! We weren't able to check out the restaurant and bar, but would like to next time as it looked like it had a great ambiance.

Beautiful property in a great location. Check in however was not very friendly. Opted for garage parking with mandatory valet service. Garage was attached to the hotel. Not sure why it needed valet service. That was just a pain in the neck. Valet attendant on check in was rude. Anytime we needed to get something out of our car we had to get the key from the valet. We had driven 2000 miles in the prior ten days and had lots of items in the car. Had no issue with paying for the garage but just didn’t understand the need for a valet. Garage was just thru the exit door of the hotel. Valet moved our car three times, once to a different floor, then to different spaces on the same floor. Unclear why as the garage was only half full. I think it was just the valet trying to give us a hard time. The next day the valet was very pleasant. Other than that situation the hotel and restaurant were very nice. Well decorated. Fireplace in lobby was very cozy. Our room was a bit small but we had a very nice balcony patio.

They are a nice hotel, they don't have a pool or a gym, but they do have free passes to a fitness center that is about 20 mins walking distance. The junior room has a mountain view, which is amazing. They also have hot tubs, which is great. As for food, there is a restaurant within the hotel and the food is decent. There are a lot of restaurants around the hotel, and it gives the vibes of a nice little old town.

Its location in downtown Golden is ideal. The buildings architecture is quaint, although the facilities are definitely older. We don’t need the 1980s alarm clock! But do you need more USB charging outlets. One complaint was that it was loud in the mornings with what I assume of staff coming and going and doors shutting. But also could be the customers. The restaurant in the lobby, serving Mexican food, is a nice option. My other complaint is that the parking in their garage was $25 a night! However, they gave us the option of parking directly across the street for free and we were managed to find a spot every night.

A bit older, no pool at the facility. The perk here is the location. The room was good, but there were things broken and run down looking, like the mirror was falling out of the frame, the tub was plastered over in many spots, carpet was a bit worn. Just an older property probably. But had nice touches like water in the room and free coffee, comfortable bed and a ceiling fan. Thankful for a safe, comfortable hotel in Colorado. Lots of shopping and restaurants near by. Very safe location. Covered parking available for a fee. Probably going to try an upgraded room to see if it’s less run down next stay.

The beds are fantastic, very comfortable providing a great night's sleep. The rooms are unique and spacious. The cantina is a great layer night stop before heading to bed. The only complaint is the hairs in the bed, sink, and bath.

The housekeeping needed improvement. No housekeeping for 3 days. 7 day stay and no new towels until we requested, sink and toilet not cleaned when they did come. Disappointed.

The hotel is in a great location, but the rooms are very, very dated. Also very dark (there was no window in our room). There was a door to a balcony that overlooked an alley, but the door had frosted glass so you could not see out. The room was tiny, and the sink was in the room itself. The toilet/shower room was also tiny.

Great location. Fantastic front desk, housekeeping & valet staff. Room was comfortable, but needs a little TLC. Carpet worn, pillows need to be upgraded but bed was nice, TV system needs to be improved. But who needs TV in this perfect location to take in all the local Golden color. Quaint little town with plenty of dining selections for morning, noon & night time feasting. River is a quick 8 minute walk & the perfect spot for morning coffee. Also a 15 minute drive to the Red Rocks for amazing concert opps.

I really loved the property and the room, the views are amazing. I had some issues with service. I understand it was Halloween but it took Valet 15/20 min to get to us even though we called ahead and then when we got there. He was frantic when he reached us, we said we understood. He proceeded to keep saying “it’s the time you came here, the street is blocked off”. It felt like he kept blaming us for how overwhelmed he was. It’s Halloween and we didn’t know the road would be closed down, we are not from here and no notice was sent. We understand the road was blocked off but you have another entrance and there was no reason to be that chaotic either. We didn’t get help with our bags, the manager brought out a luggage cart but didn’t say much, didn’t help. Service was such a weird, uncomfortable vibe and it just didn’t feel welcoming. Staff the next day was better and so was valet. The inn is so beautiful and it’s a shame we don’t feel like we will be back.

Beds not comfortable Valet parking was terrible- they only had one worker, and I had to wait over 20 mins to just get the keys to get my glasses out of the truck. And at 6:30am on a Sunday they did not have a valet worker. Inside counter worker had to get the keys & it took forever.

The hotel was exactly what we were looking for in terms of price and convenience. If you're visiting Golden, I highly recommend staying here. It's centrally located, right in the middle of everything, and within walking distance to most things. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. That said, don’t expect much from the staff. They were rarely at the front desk, and when they were, they often came across as dismissive when we asked for anything. The usual friendliness you'd expect from hotel staff just wasn’t there. On top of that, our room wasn’t serviced one day, and when we brought it up, they apologized once and offered us a coupon for the restaurant despite the fact that we were literally about to get in an Uber to the airport. Overall, the location and comfort make this hotel a good choice as long as you’re not counting on exceptional service.

Perfect location in downtown Golden, right in the middle of shops and restaurants. Clear Creek trail is easily accessible and great for after-dinner walks or rafting access. We went to a concert at Red Rocks and this was a perfect location to stay - we were back at the hotel within 30 min of the concert end!

We stayed one night while attending a concert at Red Rocks. We felt it was a convenient location, about 15 min from the venue and situated on the main street of Golden with a few shops, restaurants, creek, and small museum. The hotel has an older, southwestern vibe. It’s clean and all staff were pleasant. It is not luxurious but does the job and has a cute ambiance. The room’s AC unit was VERY loud so we had to shut it off at night. Bonus…we walked Washington Ave to look at the restaurant options and decided to eat at the hotel. The food was FANTASTIC!!! Overall, a cute, quaint, charming hotel that takes you a step back in time.

Cute hotel with a relaxed distinctive feel. Furnishings and room appointments were a little dated. The restaurant, while incredibly popular, was disappointing for us food-wise and service was very slow. However, the exterior is adorable and the location is fantastic.

Staff is very friendly, and the restaurant has great food and a top-notch view from the patio. We ate their twice and thoroughly enjoyed both times. Location is perfectly suited to touring Golden by foot. Valet was prompt with vehicle returns. Just a few miles from Red Rocks, this is a great location with awesome restaurant.

Excellent Stay. Great old town Golden location on main street. The building is all decorated in a Southwest motif. So don't expect anything modern or contemporary. The restaurant has the best mexican meals, very large portions and great margaritas! Our room was very comfortable and quiet even when we had some partying going on across the hall. We had a mini suite so it had a small separate livingroom with another door. Well worth the extra $50 ? $25 valet but no need to Valet at the property there are free parkinglots on weekends 3 to 5 minute walk away. $8 overnight weekdays.
