I must say I was disappointed that a Holiday Inn's rooms were so cramped. Even the small luggage carts were hard to manage thru the small elevator and hallways. The staff was excellent but I could not believe the hotel charged extra for parking. And also extra for a breakfast. We just went to a restaurant.

My family really enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Steamboat. The place had everything you need for a ski weekend at a good price. It’s not ski in / ski out but the rooms have comfy beds, there’s 2 hot tubs and a pool and they have a shuttle to the lifts. Bonus there is a restaurant on site.

We really like the convenience with the ski shuttle (5 minute ride) and easy parking. Unfortunately there was no free breakfast which I almost always expect for places like this and the cleaning service was subpar. Our trash was already overflowing and they didn’t bother to take it out. We also found a previous guest had left their sweatpants under the sink area which the cleaning service totally missed, which to me indicates poor attention to detail. Overall we were still satisfied but maybe look at other options next time.

Room was very clean. Only weird thing was that my shower was not level so water pooled to one end that was opposite of the drain. Really enjoyed the hot tub and pool after a day of hiking. Check in staff was very friendly. Location was a little farther from downtown then I was expecting but it was an easy bike ride into town

This is a decent place especially for the location and the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hot tubs were clean and hot. There were a couple things that kept this from being a 5 star. 1st was upon arrival there were a handful of cigarette butts left on the balcony from a previous guest. Not a huge deal, I just didn't want to get the blame for them, and 2nd was the water pressure in the shower was pretty weak. Overall, I would stay here again and even recommend to friends and family.

The hotel is very old and expensive. The air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep.There was no continental breakfast. The hotel and room smelled bad and musty. Had breakfast at the attached restaurant. The food was not good and barely warm.

Wonderful base for a skier on a budget. Very clean, extra friendly staff, reliable shuttle to the slopes. Full restaurant and bar is a great add when it’s too snowy to think about driving to dinner. Just a few minutes into the heart of town. Would stay again!

We were overall pleased with our stay. The shuttle to and from the base of the mountain was incredibly helpful, as was the ski storage room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We were frustrated that our room was not refreshed by housekeeping and it took too many requests on our part before it finally received service. The beds were comfortable and it was a fine stay overall.

Expensive! But, very good location for skiers. Fitness room could be greatly improved with 2 foam rollers and a couple yoga mats. The rooms are tidy, modern and clean but not huge. Two of us drove up from Denver and had a good February stay with excellent snow. Don't plan on walking to the lifts but the free shuttle will get you there and back until 4pm. Wonderful outdoor hot tub and restaurant with friendly bar tender..

breakfast in Harison's wasn't good - hash browns were limp and the toast wasn't toasted - but the pizzas we had for dinner were excellent! temperature control in the room was a little finicky; 69 was fine for sleeping, 71 was a bit warm for sitting, but 70 kept switching between cold or hot air, no happy medium - and that's the worst quibble we had. Overall, a VERY nice property, and we'll stay there again!

The property has been refurbished, but still seems outdated with small bathroom. When reserving the room with breakfast included in the restaurant, which is part of the hotel, were disappointed with the quality of the meal. Eggs were yucky and the potatoes were fresh from the frozen food sack and were nothing short of disgusting. No value in the restaurant, which was very worn and evidence of overuse was apparent, being added as part of the reservation. Head to Starbucks down the road. Additionally, the restaurant was understaffed and the service was slow. I would not book this property again.

Great place to stay in Steamboat! The pet fee was reasonable for our 2 dogs. Room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel is expensive but it’s convenient and has good food. We ate there for Thanksgiving dinner and it was delicious! There was a grassy area outside the restaurant where our dogs could run around. The location is a close drive to everything but you couldn’t walk anywhere so in that way it was a little isolated. Overall, a great stay.

The hotel was good. It was clean but when we checked it we were not informed about the water leak. The hot water was shut off for most of the day. If we had been informed prior to getting in the pool would not have gotten in the pool or possibly not even checked in. Went to the front desk and the clerk was very rude and made jokes about not having hot water. He offered a free breakfast. Could care less about a free breakfast. The next morning went to talk to the manager Tammy. She listen to my concerns and was very empathetic. She apologized for the situation and made sure to coach her employee. I would go back if it wasn’t 3 hours away just because of Tammy.
