At reservation, I had specified a non-smoking room, but at check-in, I was assigned a room that as soon as I opened the door, I could tell was not a non-smoking room. I returned to check-in and questioned the room allocation, and was then reassigned to a room that thankfully, didn't smell like an ashtray. The property was clean, the pool area (which We didn't use but were adjacent to, was quite pleasant for a "lower" cost accommodation. I do question the coffee maker machine being "screwed" to the wall right beside the toilet (so we didn't avail of that amenity), but I have to say that the facility was clean, and comfortable. The A/C was amazing! I had to increase the temp lest we suffer frost-bite. I got the feeling that they have some perpetual residents, but we experienced no discomforting encounters during our stay. Would I be willing to stay there again? Yes. The staff were not warm and welcoming, but they were responsive to circumstance and the accommodations were adequate for the cost. You can only expect to get what you're willing to pay for, right?

Unfortunately we didn't see the facility was under active renovation until our arrival at 9:40pm. The room was extremely small with shoddy decor, linens, and a very dirty upholstered chair. There was also mold in the refrigerator. The bathroom, though, was quite new with marble tile (the door was only 28 inches wide - for those larger people a squeeze). The lack of towels was addressed immediately and other problems were resolved the next day with interpretation challenges, most of the staff had poor English skills, but were very pleasant and willing to help. This gluten-free low sugar client couldn't eat any of the breakfast offered. These people are making a brave effort under tough conditions. Price was best in area, so we stayed, but I'd wait 6-8 months before booking again!

The room was renovated but there is a lack of detail. No printed channel guide. The front desk told me they don't know how to operator the remote either so just channel surf. Space under the door when shut. No soap in shower. Noise from guests late into the night until 2am. Terrible chemical smell in our room which may have been insecticide for pest control. Very dark in the parking lot. Friendly desk clerk at check in and check out.

This place is Old. It has been updated somewhat but room stinks terribly bad. Large Trash bag full of trash right out side of our door. Sidewalks and parking lot was very dirty. Won't ever stay there again.

We arrived after a day of travelling, tired and ready to relax and sleep. At check in, a tax and a deposit on top of what was paid through Expedia. The deposit was returned the next morning at check out, only after a room inspection. A 2 inch Cockroach was on the wall to begin. There was no hot water in the sink or the shower and only one facecloth with 3 pillows too share on the bed.

The pictures must have been enhanced because this place is very run down. No hot water in the shower, the shower floor looked gross didn’t want to put feet in it. My mother law turned her sheets down in her room and they were dirty, they had black marks on them. Gross.

COCKROCHES!! Killed at least 10 in our room on a 2 night stay. Room appeared clean and updated but they have an infestation problem and the bugs are not afraid to come right out in front of you in the room. Easy fix if they would spray after every guest, set up traps, and make weekly guests leave their room to spray. Cheap owners. Florida inspector was there one moring checking their breakfast area. Unfortunately they only inspect empty rooms during day. She said to make a complaint. I've stayed in several hotels traveling throughout Florida and this is not normal. Nice tile and lobby but food cockroaches not palmetto bugs.

My room was infested with roaches. They were not able to move me to another room since they said they were fully booked that night. The only solution given to me was to wait until morning to change rooms. Also, upon closer inspection of the room I also noticed there was a dead roach on the seat in the room. This was a horrible experience and I would not recommend anyone to stay here unless you want to sleep with roaches surround you. I only got about half of my money back, which they should have refunded me the full amount. I had to rebook at another hotel that same night as I was not going to be able to go to sleep knowing I was surrounded by roaches. I have pictures of the roaches but not the bedding which had holes in it. Once I saw that, I should've known the type of hotel this was. There is no option to upload pictures with this review, if I find it I'll upload them.

This hotel was disgusting. Roaches, dead and alive. Not only were there roaches, the smells in the area of sweat and filth. The room floor was dirty, so dirty that I don’t think has ever seen a broom or a mop. The bathroom toilet had pee splatter on it and even the lid. Also the toilet seat was broken in half. The bed comforter had burn marks all over it. Overall, horrible when it comes to cleanliness. On the plus side, area was very quiet. But, literally that’s the only positive thing I can say about it.

The remote for the TV does not work. So no TV. I could turn it on and off to the discovery channel. The URC or universal remote control is so old I couldn’t find a picture or instructions on the internet. New ones are needed.

Upon checking in, the room next to mine had a very loud, irate woman shouting. I went back down to the desk and asked if I could move rooms. No issues at all, she gave me a new room & even called the guest to ask them to quiet down! Bed was very comfy. My only complaint was the old AC couldn't keep up quite as well as I'd hoped, but for the price, it was well worth the stay!

Room had updated vinyl floors which was nice. Used to be a smoking room and it smelled. Very noisy could hear anyone talking or walking. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Didn't try the shower. It was clean. Small room for the price, as well.

Placed me in a room with an inoperative heater on a cold night. I remained cold even while fully dressed in bed. I reported the inoperative heater the next day, so they placed a portable space heater in the room while I was away. But, the person plugged the space heater into an extension cord slot which blew the fuse. That part of the room had no power. It was obvious the staff did not know what they were doing, but I did, so I fixed the fuse myself. This is a Quality Inn with no quality.

People at the front desk didn’t have my room ready and had to wait for them to check if the room was clean or not. Plus the room they advertised is way bigger than the little tiny room I got. I couldn’t even stay the whole night and left to find a bigger room.

I had an extremely disappointing stay at this hotel, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The service was outright terrible, setting the tone for a very unpleasant experience. The staff lacked professionalism and courtesy from the moment I arrived. Checking in was a hassle, as the lobby was closed late at night, and I was forced to communicate through a tiny window like at a gas station. The attendant was visibly irritated, wore headphones the entire time, and made it clear that helping me was an inconvenience. The room was another letdown—dirty and poorly maintained. For the price I paid, I expected at least a clean and comfortable environment, but it was far from that. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly intrusive. They knocked on my door 20 minutes before the official check-out time to rush me, which felt disrespectful and unnecessary. Additionally, the hotel’s payment systems are outdated and frustrating. Their Vending machines didn’t work properly, and they don’t accept cards. When I asked for a bottle of water to take my medication, I was told I had to pay $2. When I tried to pay, they insisted on cash only and still refused to give me a bottle. The lack of basic customer care in this situation was shocking. DO NOT STAY HERE. Says 24/7 front desk but you actually cannot even enter the lobby after a certain time, arrived around 11pm and had to check in through a slightly opened window. This should have been the first red flag. Gave the benefit of the doubt and checked in anyway. Room was on first floor facing the pool and there were people smoking marijuana out by the pool so everything smelled. Entered the room and it smelled strongly of cigarettes. Room had shared door to adjacent room and other guests were being extremely loud even though it was after 11pm, so loud that it felt like they were in the room with us. Very appalled by all this we went to the front ready to return our keys and leave the property, we informed them of everything and all they said was the room was a smoking room. Overall the property just did not even feel safe. No effort was made to accommodate us after our complaints, honestly staff was blatantly condescending and rude. Returned our keys and left the property. Thought we were saving some money and getting a good deal ended up losing our money for this “hotel”(it’s technically a hotel but everything about it points to motel) and having to pay for another real hotel. Save your time and money and just book somewhere else to start!!!!!!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Unacceptable Conditions and Unprofessional Staff My two young children and I had an extremely disappointing stay. Within an hour of checking in, we encountered multiple roaches—on the bathroom wall, above our bed, and on the countertop. We documented this with photos and videos. When I contacted the front desk to report the infestation and request a room change, the staff member was shockingly rude and unprofessional. He refused to move us, stating he was not authorized to do so. When I emphasized that the conditions were uninhabitable, he dismissively told me that I had already heard him the first time and that he would not repeat himself. His tone was condescending and completely inappropriate for someone in hospitality. As a family that travels four months out of the year, we have experienced a wide range of accommodations, but this was by far one of the worst experiences we've had. No paying guest should have to deal with unsanitary conditions or be treated with such disrespect when seeking a reasonable solution. I contacted the corporate office who immediately took action and relocated us to another hotel.

RUN FROM THIS PLACE, place is dirty, noisy and soon as i walked upstairs there was a smell of weed EVERYWHERE, i was there for 10 minutes asked for a refund, they told me to contact Expedia so they can give the refund, well i did that and they denied it. So the place is horrible and on top of that they are liars and thieves. The place is so unsecured and unsafe

Stayed for one night to get away from home. The bed was comfortable. That I will say! However, the breakfast is really bad. You have a choice of cereal, toast or a waffle (you make yourself). There was no fruit (aside from some bruised apples) or anything good like eggs/bacon, etc. The Orange juice that comes out of the machine was watery and tasted weird. The coffee was ok (nothing great) but they have the world's smallest cups to use...I think they were like 8 oz Styrofoam cups. Check-in took like 25 minutes. There is only one clerk and there were 3 or 4 people checking in...so be prepared to wait. Overall, it was like a 6 out of 10. It's quiet and the room was clean, although when we first opened the door it smelled like must/mildew. Probably won't be staying here again. Oh...one more thing, there is nothing to do within walking distance. Nothing.

The property overall is very nice and quaint. It's an old building yet taken care of overall. The only negative I would say about this hotel is the breakfast. Honestly, I don't even believe its worth offering any food because its so skimpy. By the time I arrived at 8:30am there were a few yogurts, only white bread for toast, milk, cereal, and of course coffee. My recommendation is to state offering continental breakfast.

We found a roach in our room right after we checked in. Breakfast hours are 6 - 9am doesn’t matter what day it is, so for weekends it is really inconvenient. Breakfast options are toast, waffle, yogurt and cereal. No oatmeal or grits for gluten/lactose-free guests. And the coffee maker in the room was located inside the bathroom - yes, the weirdest place where you could keep a coffee maker.

It was clean free breakfast they run out of pancake mix no one replaced it. The fridge made noice and the sofa as well. Water pressure was low bar soap instead of bottle for hand washing. The heat worked as it was40 degrees. We thought it was another hotel we booked. It’s a family owned $3 fee per person. They held $50 but it was refunded.
