The gentleman at the check in was courteous and answered my questions. The lady at checkout was very courteous as well. The television in my room had three white spots in the middle of the screen. The ice machine closest to my room was not working. The bed mattress was comfortable but the bottom of the bed was a metal box which made noises when sitting or exiting off of the bed. The shower water was nice and plentiful and hot. It was exactly what I needed for one night.

Economical, in convenient location off highway. Near services. Comfortable beds. Limited blankets. Tough to park because large trucks and busses taking up too much space. Otherwise fine. Quick check in. Good breakfast although breakfast room is small and on a weekend in high season was packed with traveling students.

The Gym is in bad condition. The rooms are not adequately cleaned after each user. Dusty areas indicate long time passes before seen the clothe. Environment feels safe, friendly and staff seems to care about what they do, except cleaning crew. Acceptable free breakfast.

The waterfall by the pool was beautiful, the refresh decor in rooms was beautiful. However. Building is desperately in need of repairs. Not just cosmetics, some basic grooming on the lawns would help as well.

The clerk was very nice and helpful. The property was in sad shape. The pool had overgrown weeds in between the pavers. Water fountain dried up and taped. The pool lighting was apart and hanging on the edge of the pool. If this pool was in Pinellas county it would have been closed down. Caution tape across the railing. Rooms needed to have housekeeping clean it. Dirty tissue on the desk, toilet running and floor wet from leaking. No garbage bags. Floors soiled. Decided not to stay a second day. This place needs a lot of tender love care to bring it up to standard.

Was disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of the property. First room, upon check in that took a very long time at the front desk, had a lot of roaches around the door and the air conditioner. We immediately requested another room. Then the keys didn't work. The rooms smelled musty, the tub was dirty, the hair dryer didn't work, and the breakfast was so bad we just walked in and walked out with a laugh, at they point. To top things off, there was a car show nearby and every morning our room was literally shaken awake with the obnoxiously loud cars and their boom systems. Used the pool and the waterfall and lagoon were not in use. Pool smelled funny. By the time some guy out there with his toddler fired up his weed, I decided it was time to go back inside. The whole experience was a disappointment.

The place is filthy ( I have pictures of mold in the bathroom, dirt and debris such as a drink lid and a dirty potato chip on the night table, the comforter was so skimpy-more like a sheet, and finally my husband killed a bug on the tv stand.

The staff were nice and friendly. My room was absolutely disgustingly dirty. Hair on the pillow of my bed, the sink (the sink was also cracked in multiple places all the way from top to bottom), dirt and hair in the counter, tub, stuck to the walls and molding (the molding was 4 in thick carpet in most areas). A hole in the wall, the lamp was coming about as was the entertainment center. All walls and floor were dirty. Clearly a previous guest had pets as there was still pet food all over the floor. I couldn't dare walk around in bare feet. The only saving grace is I only stayed 1 night. One night is too long. When I advised the front desk they thanked me for letting them k ow and sais they would clean the room. I booked through Expedia. I will be asking for a refund. I took numerous pictures of the room.

I know that for the price of this hotel, you can't expect too much, but at least they could have cleaned it; that might be enough. You arrive at the hotel and you're greeted by a very rude man. The first thing he asks you upon approaching is whether you're bringing a dog with you, because just for that detail, they charge 200! in insurance for damages the pet might cause. I don't think the dog can do any damage because everything is already damaged. I was saved from being served by that gentleman thanks to a very kind woman who took my reservation and gave me the right information with great respect. You get to the room and there's blood on the sheets, food scraps and hair, the floor is cracked, the microwave is full of food, the bathroom has drops of dried urine... If I could, I wouldn't give a single star because it's not worth reviewing a place like this because there's no room for improvement. I believe that according to city regulations, this place would fail an inspection and be closed immediately. It's not healthy to stay here. I chose it because I came for just one night to visit a sick relative, and it was the closest thing available.

The tv didn’t work well. Picture and sound cut out on many channels. Microwave carousel didnt move. Stuck in one place. Dresser drawers totally stuck, couldn't use at all. Vinyl plank floors need MOPPING, not just sweeping. 5 minutes walking barefoot, my feet were black. On the good side, quiet, good blackout curtains, good bed, nice staff. I'd stay again but please, basic maintenance, make sure stuff WORKS.

I stayed here as I was booked to perform at a local music festival. I've stayed in a LOT of motels in my career, and this one was blandly adequate. The bed was comfortable enough - though too soft for me, my wife was fine - and the room seemed adequately clean. But. Perhaps it was in a stage of remodeling because there were several holes in all the walls where art/mirrors(?) once were. The walls were very poorly painted (drips, splotches everywhere) and the bathroom caulking & mopboards were very poorly done. Just as I was staring at a poorly joined mopboard in the bathroom and thinking "What a perfect place for roaches to live!", as if on cue, out popped a roach! The walls/ceilings are thin and voices & noises from adjacent rooms and the vehicle noises from the parking lot made for a very unrestful night. That said, the two staff I interacted with were pleasant and professional. This Brooksville Days Inn was the least expensive in the area; I guess you get what you pay for, but we won't return.

The night employee that checked me in was pleasant, other than that it was terrible. The air conditioning stopped somewhere in my 5.5 hour stay and I woke up a couple of times. I finally woke up at 4 am and it wouldn’t reset and work so the room was super hot. I asked to cancel my next night and for some kind of a refund. Was told to take it up with corporate. So here I am! LOL

The room was awful, with a dirty shower curtain and a bathroom that was downright nasty. Check-in was inconvenient, done through a window outside, and the front desk lady was incredibly rude and dismissive. The staff was impressive, knowledgeable, caring, and went above and beyond. Our TV and refrigerator needed repair and it was done within a half hour. Marilyn and April were the best of help. They were knowledgeable of the area which was amazing. Our daughter is homeschooled and they had a great little library down the street. The waterfall is not working and many things in the property needed repair the washer and dryer the picnic tables and many things in the rooms. I was assuming it was residual from the recent hurricanes they made us feel comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good. I would definitely stay there again solely because of the staff.

No toilet paper. Went to office and was handed 1 roll for 2 people for three days. Asked for clean towels and never got those. Breakfast was a joke. During hurricane, no power or internet.Had a bunch of power men with trucks for hurricane and extremely limited parking. I think they were there to party. Saw lots of beer and tons of noise. It was awful. I would never go back.

I’ve visited this particular hotel 2. The first visit, the room was fairly clean. The front check in guy was rude on both occasions. The second visit, the room was filthy, microwave was broken, very noisy; and room smelt as if I was in an ashtray. I am not a smoker so I was not very pleased with the second hand smoke. I was also on a travel assignment so my clothes smelled like cigarettes. I won’t book with this hotel again.

We had a 3-day stay at the hotel. When we first checked in, we were assigned room 153. That room was not "ready". One of the bed was too hard and the room smells mold. I contacted staff which gave us a new room immediately. We had no problem after that. I am not taking off points from the hotel because of the first room's condition was not good as it was rectified immediately. Breakfast was plentyful. And the staff keeps cleaning the area keeping it very clean. The rooms are good for the price. There are hotels which are better of course but much more expensive. And if you just need a quiet, safe, clean, and comfortable place to sleep. This place was good for us.
