Close to restaurants, Stores, & US 19 The rooms in back building were clean but stairwell, parking lot were dirty, unkept. Ice Machine rusty and probably hadn't worked in years. Front Desk and that area clean & good. Excellent breakfast and area to eat. Will probably stay again because reasonably priced for location to our clinic.

Christy ? At the front desk was AMAZING. I was literally walking out the door to go somewhere else and she stopped me and convinced me to stay. I’m glad she did. Dave, the general manager, extremely helpful and friendly very very strong. And the place really is nice! I like the little touches the massage chairs in the lobby the little game room Of vending machines although I don’t like the vending machines kicking out dimes, that’s kind of lame but overall really a great place

Parking lot had garbage scattered about. Room had a 3/4 quarter full toilet paper roll and a roll that was maybe 1/4 full. TV Remote would not work but maintenance came and swapped it out. Construction was ongoing in the front and access to the front lobby was limited.

Chrystal at check in was great. Person handily the breakfast was a sour puss. Spending time on phone. Shower head a very low pressure and the assortment of tv channels were terrible. Pool was refreshing, but could have used some umbrellas for shade.

The only problem I had was that our room didn't have hot water. Otherwise everything was pretty nice. Great location, pool area was nice especially the toddler pool. Friendly staff, clean rooms, great deal for the price.

The property is well worn and not cared for. The corridors are dirty. I was there for 10 days and my room was only serviced once. I was told it was every 4 days which was already stretching it, but then they did not even do that. Cockroach in the room. The only upside was the bed was newer and comfortable and plenty of hot water for a good shower. It was cheaper than some but you really do get what you pay for

The hotel overall was quiet. Parking was easy and getting out onto the highway wasn’t too difficult depending upon the time of day. The access door for guest was old and didn’t close properly all the time. The card access took several attempts before it would allow the door to open. Not all areas are handicapped friendly if you’re in a wheelchair. The door frames on the elevator was kind of difficult at times to maneuver a wheelchair in and out. There is a little sign near the breakfast area written in black letters on a dark blue background that says all food has to be consumed in the dinning area. The staff person was adamant about me staying in the area. I was told to go to the front desk and ask permission, then followed me down the hallway as if to make sure I did it. The morning front desk person was rather rude and told me I could not go back to my room regardless of the situation. So I went back to the dinning room where I was watched the whole time by the staff person. The hotel has a policy of maid service every four days. I had to go to the front desk to get toilet paper for the room, and I had to empty my trash can in the trash can out in the hallway. Ok, I can see maybe not cleaning everyday, but at least go in the room to empty the trash can and make sure the bathroom is stocked. Overall, the room was comfortable and spacious. I would go back again in the future.

Encountered 3 roaches. Had to look for front desk help both times I went there, including check-in. Our room was way in the back; ice machine for that area was not working. Had to go to main building, second floor for ice.Carpet in room was dirty.

Room had a lot of roaches in it, and I killed about 4 of them. I ended up leaving and losing out on my money. The front desk were very nice about the situation and did offer me a different room. I politely declined because if one room has roaches, they all do. I'm not willing to risk bringing one home with me

The room smelled, sheets had blood stains, mold in tub, floor full of dirt you couldn’t walk in your socks. The customer does not come first, I called for assistance and they never came. The price was very reasonable, but now I understand why. I would not take my wife and kids here. Sorry for writing this bad review but it’s the truth and if I can help another I will. I hope this gets you to clean up the facility then maybe things can change and the reviews will change as well. GOD Bless you

Room smelled like mildew; hallway smelled of cannibas; no hand soap at sink; toilet paper rolls don't fit holder; all metal in room (lamps, faucets, etc.) all rusty and pitted; tile in tub was gross; fan on ceiling was disgusting. Even the light bulbs in the lamps had a heavy coating of dust. People who work there are wonderful - Nicole in the breakfast, supper area; Crystal up front....very nice!

The room was old and worn. You could see daylight thru door. The door sweep was basically non existent. Door was dirty. Tub drain cover wouldnt stay up while showering. Toilet seat loose. Toilet leaked. The matress seemed 20 years old. Matress had a few brown smears on side of it. Fitted sheet covered it though. Cigarette butts all over the place near pool. Breakfast for 6 mornings were repetative. Juice machine broken entire stay. Was not the most rested stay weve had and im 65. Been to quite a few different hotels. Room attendants didn't speak english and the towels were almost non existant.

Pros: Comfortable bed, convenient location Cons: Lots of little things made for rough edges: had to wedge a folded-up paper sack behind the bed to keep it from banging against the wall every time I got in or out of the bed, nasty water, shower curtain rail installed poorly, so that the shower curtain wouldn’t stay closed, loud A/C unit, no card showing available tv channels, and as a solo traveler, it felt less than secure.

Door was broken had to enter the key 5 or more times to get in my room. TV was broken WiFi was bad for me could barely use it to do anything. Nowhere as clean as it looks when you’re booking it from the internet. pictures don’t match! Talked to staff about some of the issues. It was basically just deal with it. Which is fine but for the price would expect better. Personally I would not stay there again!

I would like to say the trip started off rough. We were women up at 1030pm because they had given someone else our room too. Then security came and woke us up again and we had to prove we were indeed staying there. Then the whole night there were teenagers surrounding us and were loud until 4am. Needless to say - day one was rough. The next morning we went to speak to the manager and she immediately apologized and move us into a suite inside the hotel and it was a pleasant time the rest of our trip. THANK YOU for taking care of us and hearing us out.

Poor front desk service. Told room would be ready in 1 1/12 hours it ended up being 3 hours later. I had to wait in Lobby because I didn’t have a car and the front desk lady said as soon as one was available she would let me know. She checked a family in a head of me.

Another guest was given keys to our room and walked right in at 1am!! It could have been dangerous and it was very awkward. Then when my husband had gone out our own keys wouldn’t work and we had to get them reactivated.

I paid from 8-25 till 9-2 in full then on sept 1st they charged my debit card $83 for an extra day when I paid in full on the 25th when I checked in. So Marcy the manager nasty women said I’ll get a credit back then today at check out a half hour later they tried charging my card $5.83 for what I don’t know I get hung up on The customer service sucks from the nasty manager Marcy I wouldn’t even give this place any stars Horrible

Major bummer was the strict 4pm checkin, we didn't have a car and came in at 230 after a flight and the desk told us we had to wait. OK fine - that's the rules - but we were hungry after a flight, so we asked to check our bags before check-in, and the front desk said NO! Really? I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and have been rejected from early check-in, but never a bag check. They said they had "no room" but there was obviously room. After we got our room we had no problems, but still very salty from having to carry our luggage to a bar while we wait for checkin. At the bar we made sure to say "oh, the Clarion wouldn't check our bags" will do one of the others near baycare next time

The location of this hotel was perfect for us. Easy access to Clearwater Beach, Yankees Spring Training, and every kind of restaurant you can imagine. The hotel is not new and it shows. The bedding was new and comfortable. The towels were what you would expect at a three-star hotel. Housekeeping was by request - and sometimes multiple requests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious if not limited. The pools were always clean. I would not stay here again because of the lack of daily housekeeping.

We weren't aware of the property being infested with palmeto bugs AKA cockroaches until we arrived at the check in desk and told that we can't bring our free breakfast back to the room do to the bugs. We were also unaware that hurricane victims were living at the hotel. The pool and hot tub were nice, but some of the guests who live there got annoyed when we inadvertently splashed them at the pool. A couple of them even voiced their disdain which was very uncomfortable. After spending about $30 on laundry, unfortunately, they still smelled mildewed after the wash, and it took 4 cycles to kind of dry. We ended up just hanging our clothes out to dry. It was a waste of time and money. Breakfast was the same thing everyday. It would've been nice to change it up a little. Overall dissatisfied with the experience.

We arrived at night and felt the place was a little sketchy, but it overall was better the next day. The toilet was not working properly and the microwave was too high to reach and it almost came down on my head. I would suggest adding more waffle makers since that is a hot breakfast item.

The bathroom water pressure was low causing the shower to be less than expected. The breakfast was also below par there was only scrambled eggs, waffles and sausage. There was a bar advertised at the pool, but it didn't open until late in the evening. It was average overall at best!

very dated. Front desk staff were very friendly. Mislead about the breakfast. Specificially asked if the breakfast was continental. Was told no, sausage would be there.It was not. Several breakfast machines not working. the breakfast attendant was not very welcoming. Okay for an overnight stay but would not recommend staying longer

Coffee pot was broken. Picture fell off the wall. None of the staff were polite. Can't take your food to the room no exception. Whole place smelled so like dog and cat pee😠

The rooms were too small to move around in. The breakfast buffet was the same thing every morning. Eggs and sausage that seemed like it was left over from the previous morning. The waffle maker was good. Milk and orange juice were watered down. the bar and grill area didn't open until 5pm that sucked also.
