Needed pool to be open

Hotel was run down. Room was dirty and maid service poor (although it was better the last few days). Pool was cloudy in deep end and looked like no filter was running.

Website didn’t say that the hotel was under renovations. The pool was not available and there were roaches in the bathroom!

The pool was nice.

The pool was closed and they didnt tell us beforehand... the front desk guy vareji was rude.

Motel did check us un early and had breakfast available at 7am which was great fir my 2 and 3 year olds. The pool was pretty nice and clean.

The parking is atrocious, especially with Lenny's restaurant next door and people parking in the hotel parking lot to go to the restaurant leaves none or very minimal parking for people who are actually paying to stay at that hotel

Hotel stay wasn’t bad but not worth $100 a night at all. The beds in the room were very old underneath the bedding and bedding was clean though and we only used one of the beds and it was comfortable enough …There were bugs in the room, gnats, There was a cockroach also. TV had lines in it but still worked but the tv was an older flatscreen and not a smart tv (not that serious anyway) The air conditioner worked, the mini fridge worked too, but the microwave only worked sometimes and gave me trouble… Floors were slippery and grimey when we got into the room (my son slipped) and I told them and then they sent housekeeping to fix it which they did. The pictures I would say we’re not updated and they are older pictures and misleading and they could work on the outside a little since it looks rundown… The pool was OK outside but very outdated and dirty, mostly on one side of the pool, on the deep side. There’s a lot of commotion going on outside all the time & I’m assuming from people who actually live there at the hotel, and there are other people who loiter….other than that it wasn’t too bad to stay at but for the price I would never come to this hotel again and I’d rather pay a little extra and go somewhere nicer and closer to clearwater beach

The motel was terrible. I think there is people living there full time. Around the pool was in terrible condition wow! Expedia you should look into what you guys back.

Was looking for a room last minute booked this room based off pictures hotels provided when we got there. The room was not as shown not only were the sheets dirty. The property was dirty as well. It looked like they were attempting to pressure wash the hallways where the rooms were but in doing so had took the paint off of the ground and swept it over the railing, allowing you to hit all the cars that were parked below, including ours! I told them I would not be staying in these conditions and I would like a refund. They told me that they cannot do that because we booked the third-party and would have to reach out to that third-party. We asked them for paperwork saying that we did not stay due to the conditions of the room they provided it when hotels reached out they denied our refund. Do not stay here and I won’t be booking anything on this website either since they don’t care about their customers!

Staff was friendly. Room was terrible, cracks on the bathroom floor, shower head was rusty and green. Mini fridge had a dead German roach inside. Toilet was unstable. Towels were dingy. Bed was hard, pillows smelled old. Last there were several baby roaches on the desk and floor. And a dead German roach in the closet area, one crawled in the desk and 3 came out of the mini fridge door when I opened it. Door to room didn’t close all the way, top lock was unhinged. I do not recommend this Hotel!

Room was extremely unclean. Trash and bottles , snack rappers under bed. Sheets unclean. Sink had food in it. Pillow covers dirty. Slept on top of blankets. Positive note , and I was surprised, no bed bugs or bites .

Very old hotel...towels did not look or even feel clean. Light fixture fell out of the ceiling when the front door was shut. A light fixture or smoke alarm was missing from one of the interior walls...bare wires exposed...not even taped off. AC and internet worked OK. Overall...not a very nice place.

This place is a complete disaster! The ceiling is falling, the sheets with holes and dirty, the horrible environment the worst I have ever seen, the terrible attention, hygiene they had none, I arrived and I had to leave, I made the claim for my refund because it is a complete disaster, today 1 week later I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit, I recommend it 0 this place should pass an inspection by the city because it has very bad hygiene

The mattress was very uncomfortable, we had several cockroaches visit us, the sheets had holes and the bath towels had marks.

Room was extremely dirty. Bedding stained. Towels stained. Avoid stopping here. It did look like they have tried to do renos. But not using a professional really shows. Stayed at quite a few hotels this one was one of the worst.

The phone in the room didn't work. So no wake-up call or calling the front desk for anything. The TV in the room had no remote control and no push buttons on the TV. The front desk did not have a remote for the television, so if I wanted to watch TV I had to watch hideous Lifetime Channel only and no volume control. If there had been a remote control for the TV in the room, this review would have been better.

The room cleanness was questionable. All doors were too noisy to slide/open. The bed was king but pretty noisy and it was bent in the middle (like v-shape). The free parking and the microwave in the room were great. It was super close to Costco and other dinning options.

Checked in early, though the bathroom had no working light. They moved me to the room be door. Light worked for the first night. Second night arrived back to the room after working a 14 hr day and the light blew out on the mirror (only light) in the bathroom as I attempted to walk into the bathroom to shower. Hotel is right off a frontage road for hwy 19, it is very loud all night. My rooms window faced the road. I got pulled over as I left the hotel, and was told it is the neighborhood trap. You pay for what you get.

The best part about the stay was the beds. They were very comfortable. The staff was very nice as well. You can tell that the hotel is a little run down. Boards were loose. The room had hard wood which i loved. I cant stand carpet. I misread the pool closing time. It closes at 7:30 to me thats a little early but i understand because the beach is close by. I didnt like our neighbors above us. I have small children and they sat on their outside area and smoked weed. I found that very disrespectful. This hotel is good for a quick night stay.

Great staff. Very accommodating. Rooms were clean. Location not in the heart of anything. The whole property including the grounds need updating and some T.L.C. It will cost you a bit to get around to the tourist areas or beaches.

The motel is realty basic which is what I expected. But the king size bed I got sits on a spring base Kinda like a hida bed. Comfort was OK, but the sound of the springs if you sit quickly sounds like thunder in the distance.

I enjoyed the stay with my son to see some baseball games - VERY close to the phillys stadium.. maybe a 5-7 walk. Everything else you need to drive or uber. The rooms are being update but no hand soap, 2 towel, the tv rarely worked and I would not go in the pool as it didn’t seem clean or maybe not even running Pump. I did sit by the water but definitely would not go in! Saying that..for the price I would stay here again if needed.

The place looks alot better after they fixed up the place. The staff is just amazing. Aayushi and Henry were very helpful, they always do their best to accommodate their guests. Aayushi working at the front desk is great with her job, and Henry is just so friendly with his guests. Thank you again for all of your help, you guys are the best! Better service and friendlier staff than most hotels, 5 stars!

I was moved a total of 5 times my entire stay and missed 2 days of work due to the inconvenience during my stay at Rodeway Clearwater

Hotel had a lot of water damage, the room I stayed in wasn’t very clean and had a lot of damage. Water barely got warm. Front desk worker was not at front desk when I got there to check in. Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes, called twice in that time. Took another guest coming in and calling for the guy to come out.

Great place for a quick bed and shower, would highly recommend Vijay awesome guy

DISGUSTING HOTEL!!! If there were negative stars to give, I would. The staff was rude & we waited 40 minutes just to check in. The building & stairs are in extremely poor condition and the room? It was disgusting. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see outside. The only view is of a parking lot where people were doing drugs by the dumpster. The room smelled terrible, the bathroom door had a large blood/feces smear on it, and the shower was filthy. We immediately left. They refused to give us a refund. So disappointing.

Henry was very attentive to me an my girlfriend with a situation that I had in Clearwater. He was nice enough to keep my stuff. I appreciate a lot his help

Great hotel, clean room, and friendly staff!

The place looks alot better after fixing up. I just want to say that the staff is really awesome. Aayushi working the front desk is amazing with her job, and Henry does his best to accommodate all his guests. They are both very friendly and helpful. Thank you guys again so much for everything, 5 stars for excellent staffing and service! The staff is much friendlier than most hotels, you guys are the best!

The guy at the front desk was a complete dick and i hope he gets fired!!! They need a manager on site because that behavior was unacceptable. Room was dirty bathroom walls were gross, beds were decent. wasnt bad overall other than the rude guy at the desk. he clearly needs a new job because he seems like he hates his life

Nice hotel conveiently located close to the ballpark and plenty of places to eat and shop very close by.

I like the location on the property. it was close to BayCare Park for the Phillies Preseason Games and the REstaurant next store - Lenny's.

Honestly by the reviews I was expecting MUCH worse... Was there bugs...yes. Did the sheets look super clean... no. Did I feel safe with the black truck sitting right outside our door with people drinking it...no. Did i sleep with one eye open...yes. Don't waste the money, spend the extra $50-$100 and stay at the holiday in, thats what I will be doing next time. The one good thing about this hotel is the distance to Baycare Ballpark, otherwise 1/10 rating for me.

Room was really cute, internet wifi was awesome. Hotel is undergoing construction looking forward to seeing all the changes. Kids are always excited for breakfast in morning so having a full breakfast bar makes all the difference for them.

Ok for the price in the area. Someone played loud music in the parking lot early in the morning. People loud walking by the rooms. The vanity light around the sink didn't work. Breakfast was 1 waffle maker and cereal. If I had known, would have left earlier to eat breakfast elsewhere.

Advertised free breakfast but there was no breakfast. My spouse got ill and had to go to hospital. We were refused a credit and charged second nite we booked even though we requested a credit. Will not go back.

The ceiling had water stains and physical water damage in bathroom. The box spring under the mattress was a metal frame that made the bed uncomfortable. I specifically choose this hotel because it said "Breakfast: included. Not "Continental", not "On The Go Breakfast", or other descriptions at various hotels, but "Breakfast". I only say a waffle maker and some pre packaged sugary snacks, perhaps an hour before breakfast ended was too late, and the other items were gone? I don't think that was the case with only 1 person in the dining area when I arrived. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful, I can't complain about them. They allowed me to cancel my 2nd night I had booked, and issued a refund for the 2nd night.

Breakfast was advertised but there was no juice, and only grape jelly for toast and we had to ask for bread for toast.

The hair dryer was broken… they did not serve breakfast like they said… only coffee… expensive for the price… the la Quinta across the street had a 5 star rating five star breakfast,hot tub pull, exercise room, cheaper, this hotel sucked emenditeis coffee, blow dryer broken,

Repairs needed. Heat didn't work any of the 3 days. Breakfast very poor. No meat or eggs any day. No fruit or danish most days. Holes in sheets and blanket.
