Stayed here on Mother’s Day. Rooms were really nice. Pool had trash and beer cans in it. No staff was cleaning it up. Lots of cups on edge of pool and pool staff were not cleaning up. Just walking by. So we ended up throwing away the cups in our area.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Service is very good and food is delicious with many healthy options. The pool is huge and beautiful. The fitness center is well maintained.

Absolutely lovely, historied property that is worth a visit to Miami alone. The staff were all professional and courteous and the amenities are top notch. I love the easy, free self-parking option.

The check in process was nice and easy. The staff member was able to upgrade our room due to our reserved room not being ready which was helpful. The one bedroom suite was very nice. Decor, big closet and bathroom and nice living area. The access was easy and like the free self parking. The pool is very nice and the bartender (Josh) was excellent but the service by the pool area to get drink and food was very slow and difficult to find someone to help.

I have going to the Biltmore for over thirty years. The hotel and architecture is amazing. Unfortunately, the hotel needs some tend loving care. The pool area was disgusting. There is NO REASON why this area should be unkept with the paint on pool deck almost too disgusting to walk on. Holes in the stucco from the parrots. I know its the off-season but the condition of the pool (with large junks of plaster coming off the bottom of the pool) and the paint on the pool deck, well it was not acceptable. The pool area is one of the mostly used amenities on the property. It was disgusting! Cups, straws, paper floating on the water. Waiters taking 1/2 hour to receive a drink, cups and food lying all over the place. No excuses, you ever is in charge of the pool area should be fired.

Excellent property, very unique and exciting to see every corner. The pool is insane and I could have stayed in there for days! Staff was extremely nice and helpful! The room was spacious and had super tall ceilings! I loved how we could walk around anywhere on the grounds and take pics, total exploration!

We always enjoy this hotel. They have a great gym and the best pool around. They have a tennis wall that is fun to hit against. The parking is free and very accessible.

FBooked lunch for my husband bday when we got there “area Was closed”. No notice. We had to go in town to eat. Pictures of hotel are not relevant. It looks worse. We booked the night, checkin is at 4 pm. Pool close early and in am when we went to the pool to “relax” bunch of ppl came for swimming class, loud, walking over us, shouting, taking over the pool. We had to leave. Again, no notice that pool is rented for classes! We spent a Lots of money to relax and it was a mess.

A few problems with the room made the experience less than perfect. The room was exactly as the photos show, but we were greeted with a very bad smell coming from the sewer upon arrival. We asked to change rooms and the hotel immediately complied. However, the new room had an old moldy, dusty smell. We decided not to ask for a new change since we had plans and were running late for them. Another problem was the water pressure: it was really bad in the afternoon, to the point that we thought the hotel was running out of water. Showers were made impossible at this time. Late in the evening, there was a better water pressure. I related the problem to the front desk upon check out and they were sympathetic, but did not know the problem existed or what might have caused it the previous night.

Poorly maintained. the manager when I wrote emails asking about fumigation for mosquitoes at the pool because I wanted to enjoy the morning poolside and wound up splatter more blood than I have seen in a long time while under attack by mosquitoes. I asked why don’t you humate I’ve been in resorts in swamps that don’t have mosquitoes can we improve this and there was no answer just like $177 breakfast for one person where the waiter with a built-in 20% tip did not clear dirty plates clean the table no refill the coffee or water. The manager never responded assuming that’s the manager. Staff said that’s the manager nonexistent in every way How do you run a hospitality for the benefit of people safely and in a healthy manner without care, fruits, complete fruits, I was in the sauna worker comes in holding the door open sets his ladder in there says we have to get out. He has to go to work to do maintenance. The management scheduled maintenance During the hours of operation of the gym facility. Are you kidding me? Where is the intelligence in that the management of this place will possibly sadden you and it’ll have a negative effect on your visit. It seems like most people don’t stay. They come to golf use the gym and go so during your stay a lot of other people using the facilities are localseverything for this hotel is for rent. You have not just the gas but everybody in the Gables trying to get in here while you want to enjoy the place peacefully weird

Very nice and very pretty property. However in the bathroom the paint in the tub is peeling and there was hair in it. A previous guest had also written something on the mirror that only showed up when the bathroom was steamy.

Property was big and historic. Arrived late and didn’t have time to really explore. Room 1105 smelled moldy and felt damp. Dust was all over vents and lamps. Would be cautious about staying again and getting a room with the same kind of mold smell. Didn’t sleep well and woke up with irritated eyes

The Biltmore is beautiful - an icon. Lobby was fabulous. The only drawback was that the property was not quiet. Extremely loud wedding music shook the building and we were on the 5th floor! The music did not stop until 11pm. The next morning (around 7:30am) there was a beeping truck and construction going on disturbing our sleep. So much for R&R! The staff was excellent and attentive though. The grounds are breathtaking. The only negative was the lack of quiet. They also charge $70 per day for a micro fridge and microwave which should be included in the rate.

Service at this hotel is top notch, the hotel itself is historical and beautiful. The rooms are very old and outdated. The cleanliness is mediocre as well, full of dust. The walls are very thin and can hear guests in the hall and other rooms. Due to the mixed experience overall this is why i’m rating the hotel as a 3.

This is a beautiful property. It is nostalgic and boasts old school charm. That being said, we were upgraded to a one bedroom suite. The space was amazing and we were very appreciative. However, the room had a very strong mildew smell and there was a loud, high pitched noise that happened sporadically. Security was very responsive to the noise but the source was never identified. Our housekeeping service was less than perfect. Nice housekeeping staff but didn’t do a thorough job. Our shower products were not restocked and we had to ask for housekeeping to come in as they still hadn’t by 2pm. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and would stay here again. I must note that the bellmen truly made our stay good. They were ALWAYS very attentive and helpful.

The property and area was beautiful. The staff and support are nice. The room was disappointing. My husband is a big man and we were issued a room w/Queen bed and it was very uncomfortable. The biggest peeve was the location of room. Honestly, and to be fair, I did not ask to change rooms because we were only there for three nights and attending a college graduation - BUT we also had our pet and they gave us a room directly across the elevator and my dog was triggered all day long from the elevator opening and closing and the pinging noise of the elevator reaching the floor…total nightmare. I was told she was not allowed anywhere in the lobby or restaurants and pool. Well, our second day at the pool I see two dogs. One is lounging on a lounge chair by the pool and the other under a chair in the outside restaurant. WTH. And my dog is asleep freeing upstairs in the room. So, I quickly remedied that but it would have been nice for the young ladies at check in to be better versed on this amenity. All in all the hotel was close to U of MIA and that’s what we wanted.
The property and area was beautiful. The staff and support are nice. The room was disappointing. My husband is a big man and we were issued a room w/Queen bed and it was very uncomfortable. The biggest peeve was the location of room. Honestly, and to be fair, I did not ask to change rooms because we were only there for three nights and attending a college graduation - BUT we also had our pet and they gave us a room directly across the elevator and my dog was triggered all day long from the elevator opening and closing and the pinging noise of the elevator reaching the floor…total nightmare. They put us in Room 109. We were awakened at 5:00am our first day by staff preparing for a banquet. The room was adjacent to the staff prep room. No way the hotel should put guests in that room. We were moved to room 528 after complaining. There was no offer of restitution. The air conditioner in both rooms was overridden and the rooms were way too warm at night. There are no ceiling fans which made it stuffy. The TV was hung crooked and the cold water stop was missing. It sounded like a jack hammer when we tood a shower - old building and old plumming. The pool area needs a refresh - badly. The concrete is peeling by the pool and the pool needs plastering. It is splotchy and unsightly. The hotel is not maintained anywhere near the level it should be.

I got a postage stamp room with plunge pool 4’W x 8’L That was totally exposed to a wedding right below that had I used it would have ruined a nice girl’s wedding. AC fan bearings rattled all night. The Biltmore Hotel is a First Class experience. The pool is fabulous, with attentive staff for ordering food and beverages. The restaurants are all excellent, whether it be a club sandwich for lunch or filet mignon dinner at night. Our room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a lovely view on the sixth floor. This is the true Queen of Miami hotels, don’t miss it.

Excellent property, very unique and exciting to see every corner. The pool is insane and I could have stayed in there for days! Staff was extremely nice and helpful! The room was spacious and had super tall ceilings! I loved how we could walk around anywhere on the grounds and take pics, total exploration!

The check in is 4pm. We came at 3, and told the room would be available at 4. At 3:45, they informed us that we had to wait until 6. The only available room was a downgrade, which we got about 4:15. And the room had a leaky a/c, so we had engineering in our room for a half hour. Very disappointing.

The Hotel is historical and majestic and the room was lovely . One major bar was closed for renovation and the other was closed for private events ALL 3 nights we were there . They made NO attempt to accommodate the other hotel guests when we questioned the staff said they had their hands tied and suggested we speak to Management. When we requested to speak to someone in Charge we were told they are unavailable “ Many guests were upset not just my wife and me. There should always be a back up plan when hosting a conference or private event or just be a Conference center .

The check in process was nice and easy. The staff member was able to upgrade our room due to our reserved room not being ready which was helpful. The one bedroom suite was very nice. Decor, big closet and bathroom and nice living area. The access was easy and like the free self parking. The pool is very nice and the bartender (Josh) was excellent but the service by the pool area to get drink and food was very slow and difficult to find someone to help.

There is very little surrounding the property so definitely view as a resort stay. Definitely have Lyft or Uber downloaded on your phone as it's impossible to get a cab. Property is jaded grandeur from a bygone era with areas in need of better maintenance... ceiling in reception sets the tone. Beds are very comfortable as are the rooms. Bathroom is is a good size but unfortunately mine had hair from the previous occupant, dirty mirror and bathmat. If you're going for golf then well worth the stay. Would not recommend using the courtyard Italian restaurant for lunch as there was no one to seat and great ... I had to go inside and find a hostess, service was slow.. I was the only person sat outside .. probably 5 tables occupied in total, most of whom had finished. Strange when paying the bill as my cc was taken away from the table.. server gone for some time.. then brought me a keypad for my pin that was absolutely filthy. The food had been excellent but the state of the keypad then made me question general cleanliness of the behind scenes service areas.

The Biltmore is a wonderful hotel. It’s a beautiful property - think of a Las Vegas hotel done with class. Beautifully decorated throughout in a mixture of Spanish and Italian Renaissance architecture. The enormous swimming pool is the biggest i’ve ever seen. Like a couple of Olympic pools joined together!!! My junior suite was beautifully decorated. My only complaints are the size of the bath - too small - and the lack of drawer space. The last one is odd given the size of the room. Had a fantastic buffet breakfast and the food shop does amazing stuff to take away. The area around the hotel is very residential so to get to restaurants and shops you will really need to drive. But it keeps the place very quiet and provided very nice walks admiring all the houses.

This was out first time visiting the Biltmore. The property was very well maintained and gorgeous! The pool was amazing and the dining was top notch. The staff was so kind and helpful. We were visiting for my wife’s birthday and the front desk sent up a bottle of champagne to help us celebrate and even included a birthday card. The staff would always greet us and ask if we needed anything at all as we traveled around the property. We were extremely happy with our experience and have already started planning our next stay.

Just a heads up that they charge 20% surcharge plus restaurant tax plus state tax for just about everything even if it is for a banana from the coffee shop. This also applies to the $300 bottle of wine you might want to order for your special celebration. Overall, good experience and a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is exquisite! We loved the well tended grounds, the variety of dining options and the incredible swimming pool which is one of the largest I’ve ever been in. The fitness center was large and well equipped. We particularly liked that the Biltmore is situated in a gorgeous neighborhood, ideal for walking. We will definitely a return.

I did NOT like the breakfast options or the quality! Usually during season the buffet or menu options are done much better. We ordered buffet ($35.00 not many options and it was similar to Holiday Inn options), and avocado toast ($21.00 waist of money!). You are better off going to a café on Miracle Miles.

This is a premier hotel on a gorgeous property. Service was 5 stars. Only complaint was Fontana restaurant was pretty disappointing. Our salads were not very crisp or fresh and our pasta dishes were drowned in sauce, cool and overdone. Lastly we were stuck in a very brightly lit corner and pretty much ignored by staff. Rest of stay was impeccable but sadly would avoid the restaurant or stay away from pasta dishes at minimum.

What a beautiful property! It was raining torrential downpours so we didn’t get to enjoy all the things nor walk around outside. But even with the weather we loved it so much. Kids got a little swimming time in too. We only stayed one night but wish it could’ve been longer. I’d love to come back some day and stay longer! We ate at the Italian restaurant in the hotel. Superb service and delicious food!
