This is the place for you if you are looking for a family friendly stay. I chose this hotel because of the ocean front balconies; however, even though I requested a higher floor I was only able to have a second floor room right above the pool. I believe, but can’t verify, that was due to booking through a third party. Also, although the site stated there was a pool bar, another reason why I picked this hotel, the pool bar was only open on the weekends from 11-4 and had a DJ playing very loud music. I understand the loud music because the place does cater to young families; however, I don’t understand why the bar closes so early. Lastly, our toilet and refrigerator in the room did not work, but the staff were VERY quick to fix the problems. All in all, this is a nice hotel for families, but not for older adults.

All the staff was wonderful. The front desk staff was so friendly and the housekeepers in the halls were very nice. You can not beat the location with direct beach access. Parking was only $10. That is fantastic for beach hotels. Rooms were clean and large for standard size. Lobby was bright and cheerful. Excellent stay.

The hot tub was broken. The pool had kids without supervision running around. They need a lifeguard there. And the hall we were on the third floor reeked of marijuana all weekend.

It is under construction, restaurant is closed bar is closed, hallways are closed. Major disappointment for the Hilton Rewards member. Desk staff were embarrassed to say that the hotel should have been closed during construction or room prices adjusted to the poor quality of service

The property was very nice and clean. Check-in was a little difficult because you have very small luggage carriers. We ate most of our meals at the hotel and the food was excellent. Shelley and heather were very attentive and provided great service. Our phone was not working in our room but it was fixed promptly. However, you could not order “room service”. You had to go to the lobby to order. Would have been nice to at least be able to order by phone. Most disappointing though was the fact that there was no music at the pool and The pool bar was not open every day. There were not enough lounge chairs to go around. We were told that a DJ would provide music on Saturday and Sunday, but it was only on Saturday and only from 1-4.

The property has a great view and easy to get in and out for on the beach. The room was still really dirty and was not cleaned well when we arrived. The worst thing about this is that when we arrived for 4pm check in the room was not ready and we were asked to wait 45 minutes. We went and ate across the street as the hotel was not serving food and returned at 5:45 to be told the room was still not clean and ready. Then at 6pm the room was ready, but was not well cleaned. We were not offered anything to make that situation better even though to have to wait to check into a room should come with a perk or discount or an offered late check out without a charge. God knows if you check out 15 minutes late they would charge but I had to wait for my room on a vacation

When we checking I asked the desk clerk if the room was ocean view and she assured me it was but when we went to the room it was not instead it was facing ugly wall. The bathroom was not clean there was hair and other nasty particles and sand in the tub( I have photo of the shower)

Property is undergoing renovations and not handling it well. The first room I was placed in was absolutely filthy. The second was fine, but I wouldn't stay here again. Too many other options that are better in the area.

This is an aging hotel. Our room was not cleaned very well, had dated and broken furniture, and smelled really musty. There is a side door near the bottom stairwell (101) that never shuts, which felt unsafe, like anyone could enter our hallway at any time. Overall, I would never have guessed this was a Hilton-brand hotel. Not near the quality we typically receive at a Hilton property. Disappointing for sure.

If you’re considering staying here, I’d recommend looking elsewhere. • Rooms & Comfort: The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable, likely due to old mattresses. While the covers were fine, nothing about the room felt relaxing. It’s disappointing to pay around $200 a night and feel like you’d be more comfortable at home. The TV had very limited, outdated channels and no option to connect a phone or streaming device. • Facilities: We booked an oceanfront room overlooking the pool, but the pool area clearly needs remodeling—it even had visible patches at the bottom. • Positives: The only highlights were the balcony with an ocean view and the plaza across the street. • Other Notes: Parking is not free—self-parking comes with an additional fee. This property is in a very convenient location. There's a shopping center across the street, there's direct beach access and plenty of places to eat and shop. Avoid room 107 if you want to relax. My room was near the elevator and outside pool entrance. Once we entered the room we could see people passing by in the pool area. People are able to see inside your room because the room was so close to the tiki bar and pool. I wasn't able to enjoy the natural sunlight and sounds of the ocean from my patio because of the extra noise from families enjoying themselves in the pool and traffic entering and exiting the hallway and elevators. I would suggest staying on upper levels during peek seasons for more privacy and relaxation.

The staff was amazing. Sam at the front desk tried to accommodate to the beat of his ability without making me feel like a pain. But smokers ruined the balcony stay, which is why i chose that space. The AC unit kept me up all night, the neighbor blared his tv each night and speaking of TV there should be the ability to connect our personal stream service and be subject to cable and commercials. Staff excellent. Space not so much.

It was on the beach, staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Not so good - first room overlooked the roof with no other view. started to take a shower and the tub parts shot across and tub wrong part was installed and someone attempted to use tape seal to make it work - it did not. moved to another room - last one not booked. went from two queens to one king and a twin. Two adults and a teen does not make for a good night sleep

We had an amazing 4-night stay at the Hilton! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to help, which made our experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to one of the ladies working during breakfast—she truly went above and beyond. Not only did she attend to us with care and attention, but she also took the time to get to know us personally, which made our mornings feel warm and inviting. Overall, everything from the service to the atmosphere was exceptional. We’ll definitely be back!

The rooms were decent , customer service was lacking and the front desk was very rude. Also they have a policy of 1 parking pass per room and there is no where to park except the streets and it is unsafe. The pool area is in repair and there is no Tiki Bar , it is closed and they did not put that on their website, they have an inside bar but it is poorly staffed so geeting a drink can take an hour! I do reccomend you stay here!!

This is a really nice Hilton. But front desk reception was not up to Hilton Quality. We arrived early due to two of our party being ill. Hoping for early check in. We were put on waitlist for early check in. We then took our entire group to an urgent clinic. At 3:56 we arrived back after receiving no phone call for early. Reception ignored us at first and rearranged water bottles behind desk. She HAD to know we, and other people were there. Finally I was acknowledged. She told us room wasn’t ready. Check in time is 4. They had no idea when it would be ready. At around 4:20 room was ready. Now we had to wait in line again to check in. While in line. The bottle arranger was looking daggers at my wife and I because we weren’t happy with being ignored by her initially. This is not Hilton standard. It made a very nice facility sub par.

Check in was smooth. Kaitlyn went above and beyond, we were able to get an upgrade. Excellent ocean view, clean rooms and comfortable beds. House keeping did a great job. The hotel offers nice amenities. All the staff was super polite and helpful.

This was the 3rd summer trip staying here for me and my 12 year old son, we love it! Very clean, very very very friendly staff, and the location is perfect! Food is great, also several restaurants in walking distance. We will be back next year.

The Hilton Garden Inn Daytona Beach is located on the far north end of Daytona, almost to Ormond in a wonderful, quieter area. The hotel is beautiful, and they are just finishing up renovations after the hurricane damage from the previous year. The beach is beautiful, as is the outdoor pool area overlooking the beach. We purchased breakfast ahead of time, which I recommend. If you stay at Garden Inns very often, you know it is a better deal to purchase with your reservation, and they have great food. The staff was also wonderful. If you are looking for a smaller, beautiful hotel away from the hustle & bustle and somewhat seedy (my opinion) area near the pier, look no more - the Hilton Garden Inn is fabulous!

Nice hotel and a good location. You can drive on the beach, the beach entry is a short drive from hotel. You can walk across the street to Publix, Walgreens, Ross, and more shops. Will stay here again if the opportunity arises.

The location was great, right across fro. A shopping plaza and walking distance to several restaurants.. there was also a bar and restaurant in the hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. During breakfast they were a bit understaffed, but were good to let everyine know they were behind and what the wait would be and they kept the breakfast aervice open paat the posted time. The breakfast was cook to order for a fee and offered all the traditional breakfast eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, waffles, and some lighter option such as yogurt with fruit and granola. The port I ons were huge. Overall the hotel waa in good condition. Unfortunately the coffee maker in our room did not work and the surface of the toilet seat waa pealing off, which I let the staff know and they noted they would put in prders to have those things fixed. Otherwise we were satisfied with the room. There is a pool and beach access, but we didn't use either as pur stay was short. We did enjoy the view from our balcony. There is a beach bar, but it was not open during our stay. Parking was $10 and we were able to eaaily find a spot.

The staff was nice, this is my second stay at this property starting to get dated tiki bar was only open one day and the lobby bar closed one day. We had a party of 8 this was a little disappointing. The breakfast was good The one day the tiki bar was open I estimate 3k in sales if the hotel could staff the tiki bar they would do better sales numbers

Top notch building, didn't hear a thing else with the door closed. Comfy, clean and well equipped and super nice staff. But the crappy water bottles with the $2.50 sign on them and $10 extra a day to park and the oceanfront view of the parking lot was off putting. Zero privacy on the balcony. Plus the restaurant closed at 10 and the bar wasn't open at all on New Year's Eve. There are cheaper places with better views and more to do slightly north.
