The ice machine didn't work. The snack machine didn't work properly. The ice cream machine was empty and shut off. The patio door didn't lock and came off the track. All fairly minor things until added together and I'm paying well over $300 a night.

The stay was very good, the cleanliness was good, but I think they should put some lights in the pool and some spotlights so you can enjoy it at night. It's very dark and you couldn't go down because it was dark. And they should improve a little for people who smoke marijuana, since you can enjoy it on the boat but you have to be in your room at all times.

Have stayed here several times. Love that it is right on the beach and you can park your vehicle on the beach right in front of the hotel. The AC worked GREAT! However, one of the elevators was out of order until the last day we were there. The working elevator was very slow. Ended up using the stairs more often (to the 5th floor).

The steps leading to the beach were missing possibly for revamping. So we had to walk next door to the public beach access. There is a cafe on the first floor, but free breakfast is not included with your stay.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The building was older but it was clean. The outdoor pool was closed the entirety of our stay but my children enjoyed the indoor pool. The indoor pool room was old, hot and humid and I didn’t like the aesthetic with the pipes being shown over our heads, dripping water and the overall gloominess of the pool room. Free breakfast or coffee wasn’t offered but the cafe was cute and the food was just okay. I would stay again but it wouldn’t be my first choice hotel.

Pros: Location on the beach, pools, non-smoking. Laundry is available. Ocean view. Pet-friendly. The lovely man who takes care of the exterior does a great job and is constantly cleaning something. There is a full sized fridge and a small stove with utensils and dishes in the room. There are dehumidifiers in the hall. The tv works fine with lots of channels. The landscaping is pretty. A small cafe in the hotel serves a basic breakfast reasonably priced with good pancakes. Cons: Amenities promised were missing from my room. No microwave, no coffee maker, no bottled water. It took multiple requests and a day to get a microwave. The first coffee maker brought was broken. The floor in my room was dirty and needed mopping. The rest of the room was clean. The property is older. The landline phone's wires were coming apart. Some of the sheetrock around the balcony was scraped away in my room. My balcony overlooked the ocean (which sounded wonderful), and the outdoor pool which is pretty, it also overlooked an empty pool in an adjacent property which was not pretty. Many of the staff seem new. No informational handouts given. The pet walking area is small and hard to access when the parking lot is full. The beach doesn't allow dogs - that was a frustration. The boardwalk and Pier 6 are not within walking distance. Neither are other restaurants. I did not see any beach chairs for the beach (just the pool), no kayaks or canoes but was charged a resort fee.

Motel and room was nasty and dirty! Floors looked like they had never been mopped and couldn’t walk barefoot in the room without your feet turning black! The pillows were terrible and the supposedly clean towels had stains all over them! They charged an extra $10 per day for my daughter to park her car and the car got a door ding because they had cars parked everywhere and some not even in an actual parking spot! The pool was disgusting and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned forever. We were constantly killing bugs on the floor

Very clean room. The cafe downstairs has an amazing, friendly staf, and the food was delicious. We got a balconly over lokking the ocean and it was perfect along with the great location to other places. Front desk was very friendly as wrll. I will definitely be booking here again

Within 5 minutes of walking into our executive room we saw a cockroach climbing the door leading to our balcony. Walked into the bathroom only to see a second cockroach in the shower. Opened the cabinet above the microwave and someones chewed up gum was stuck in there. All kinds of hair stuck to the shower walls from previous guests and no lie a booger stuck to the wall as you enter the bathroom. Will not stay here again. Only positive was staff was friendly and ocean view was spectacular. They did give us a different room after complaining to the front desk.

Stayed in 412 it smelled like mildew. The bathroom ceiling looked disgusting. There were crumbs on the king size bed. Old salad dressing in the fridge that was molding. The staff was really nice I did not complain since I was leaving the next norning.

We found cockroaches and bedbugs in our room, something terrible I'd never seen before. I'm still waiting for a call from the manager, Rick, who never contacted me. I'm having problems because they said they would compensate me by returning my money, but they haven't. Please don't stay here; I don't recommend it. Rick, give me a call and stop hiding behind Kyle, who has been kindly helping me. Don't take advantage of people who are looking to have a good time in Daytona.

The room had peeling paint and it was almost impossible to turn the shower on. The BIGGEST issue is the surprise, hidden "resort fee" I was forced to pay at check in. It's supposed to be "what you see is what you pay". This is just a hotel; nothing about this facility qualifies it as a "resort".

Great location and clean room with private balcony. The AC in the room was nice and cold but the mattress and pillows on the bed were hard as a board and uncomfortable. A bed of nails may have been an improvement. We would love to come back for a stay if they upgrade the beds.

Wonderful hotel. It has 2 pools, one indoor and one outdoor. The room was spacious and came with a fridge, stove, microwave, and pots and pans to cook. The balcony was nice and I got a room with a beach view. Gorgeous! Only spent one night, but will definitely be back for a long weekend or longer. I highly recommend this hotel if your looking for a inexpensive place on the beach. They also have a cafe.

Overall wasn’t a bad stay. My family got room next to each other like we asked. It was quiet and even though we were on the second floor, the parking lot below didn’t pose any sound problems. I will say that the housekeeping is lacking a bit though. We arrived on a Wednesday evening and as we got to our rooms, outside our door was some type of bread pieces. Outside my mother’s room was coffee stir stick and a local pizza flyer. We had to walk around the bread crumbs from Wednesday to Saturday. And every day when we went out the cleaning cart was always in the hallway.. idk maybe vacuum was broke. But either way this was a pain with little kids. In our room we found a pair of little girls undergarments. Wish things like that would be cleaned up better. On a better note, easy access to beach and we enjoyed it as much as possible. The front desk staff was great and helpful.

This was our 3rd time staying here and we came back here because of the amazing first 2 times we were here. They went above and beyond just 3 years ago when we stayed. I would like to start this review by saying the downstairs lobby area/elevator area/back door area/ and the indoor pool area are so overwhelmingly hot and humid and they just have loud and obnoxious fans going. I attached a picture showing the lobby at 92 degrees at 9 in the morning. We sat in the lobby for an hour to be checked in, the woman in front of us had alot of issues and the second person behind the counter kept taking other people before us. Once we finally checked in and paid the $8 a day "resort fee" we made our way up to our room. The door is messed up to our room and we had to try to get in 2-3 times every single time we used our door for the week. The keys also deactivated multiple times over the week. They told us the keys would be deactivated if next to a phone or any electronic device... but if we have our bags and purses with our phones and stuff because we're on vacation... its hard to keep the card separated. You're also the only hotel I've ever seen have key cards like this. We got locked out of the room several times throughout the week. Our ac unit did not work 100%, it was on the lowest setting all week but still only ever stayed around 72. Which is way better than outside, just stating it didn't work as it should and we could see the outside world between the cracks of the air unit and

We stay at this hotel almost every time that we visit our son. He lives in Orlando, but we enjoy the beach too so we get the best of both worlds! The hotel is a little dated, but they had made some improvements since our last stay. The rooms now have a tile floor instead of carpet. We really appreciated that because the carpet tends to trap moisture (and sand) and that usually gave it a musty smell. So, thumbs up for the flooring upgrade! We were disappointed that the beach access wasn't available from the pool area as it has been in the past. But this was due to the early Fall hurricane last year that took out the concrete steps. Many other hotels had experienced the same issue. The plus to this was that there is a beach access drive right next to the hotel so we didn't have to go far to go down there. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We really appreciate that it is a No Smoking facility. Even though the balcony below us were smoking weed on their balcony which made it impossible for us to enjoy our balcony that evening. We did report it to the very nice young man at the front desk when we were checking out and we were told that it would be addressed.

Stayed 3 nights. Ocean view was amazing and is a must get! Hotel is basic and dated but clean. Location is good ONLY IF you have a car, if not there is literally nothing, I mean nothing within a 20 min walk. That gets to be a lot, for getting anything, especially that they are not licensed and cafe hours are very limited. These are a few details I wish I had known before booking here. Would probably stay somewhere else closer to pier if traveling this way again.

A return trip for me. The room was clean and comfortable and has been renovated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The cafe is simple and the breakfast was good. Corridors and elevators are a bit dated. I recommend if you don’t need a 5-star.

Pros: clean, courteous staff, beach front. Cons: Breakfast not included but accessible. However, pricey for the quantity. I got charged $10 for glass of oj and two very thin French toast. The grits were non-edible as they tasted really bad. No direct access from hotel pool to beach. You need to exit the parking to the public road. The AC has a continuous washing machine sound like. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable.
