The hotel had a good location, most of the spots we went to were at most 20 minutes away. My husband and I enjoyed the pool, although it was not very clean and we had to clean it ourselves both days we went swimming. Our room had some spiders and smaller bugs by the window, and it wasn’t very well ventilated. There was a lot of humidity in there, even just keeping it at 70 degrees. Our wet suits and towels took a very long time to dry after hanging them up. It is an older building so the room only had a large floor unit. The second floor(our floor) also had an issue with ants in the trash can by the elevators. The service is fine, housekeeping comes every other day. Breakfast is good, and the gym is nice. Small, but nice. Overall it was an okay experience, but I will probably choose a different hotel next time.

The check-in took a bit due to a lot of people checking out the morning I arrived, but overall we had an excellent visit! The breakfast was delicious, the beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were lovely! The only other thing of note is that the elevators were a little touchy, I almost got my arm caught in it when the bumper didn't sense me. It was easily remedied by just being quicker during transitions in the elevator. The location was private yet still very close to the beach! Check out was also really quick and easy!

The only working ice machine was on the fourth floor and half the time that was not working either. My son had an injury and needed ice so this was very frustrating. In our bathroom there was no conditioner in the conditioner container. I have been staying in Hamptons for years and if this hotel is any indication they have really gone downhill.

The main reason I give it 4 was because they plugged the refrigerator, tv, and microwave into the same power strip and when we used them all at the same time they all powered off and I had to get behind the dresser to turn the power strip on after the person at the front desk told us to try that. Secondly, my friend and I shared the room. Not enough charging ports or places to hang towels

Great hotel, good location next to Airport, walk to Outback or Hooligans Only thing I did not like was the TV was very complicated to use. Miss the days when you could just turn on the TV and it was easy watch live TV

Very tidy and neat. I came for a family trip with my kids and we were able to bring our family dog with us. Right across the street from the mall and restaurants everywhere. We had a great time in the pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast was included and had a wide variety of selections!

There were roaches in the room. The window was foggy and you couldn't even see out. Describing it as foggy is an understatement it had major calcification on it making it completely opaque they tried to cover it up by pulling the blinds down. By the time I got to the room I was tired from traveling and just didn't have the energy to complain. But I should have as things progressively got worse the longer I stayed there. The room was next to maintenance and the laundry went on all night. And it was next to the pool and people were out screaming until 12:30 and 2:00 a.m. in the morning. The tub would not drain and the toilet would not flush. Honestly I just wanted to get out of that hotel as soon as possible. I won't even comment too much on the decor it was probably up to the style of the day in 2012. I usually stay at Holiday inn Express and I think I will always do that from now on out.

The toilet didnt flush well, the carpet so dirty that is was sticky. There was mold on the ceiling room,tables was dirty. It smell funny didnt smell like a clean room. Breakfast area to tight won't stay there anymore.

I had a king suite. The pull out sofa mattress is so thin you're basically sleeping on mattress springs. So my 9yr ended up in the bed with me and my husband which didn't work well for me as I'm hot natured, felt over crowded. The king mattress is really really firm to me so be prepared I was not. The toliet needs repairing for the flushing mechanism, and shower pressure needs work as well. The room set up and view was very nice and beautiful but unfortunately I was there to sleep and shower, and both not to me expectations. For price paid I'm highly disappointed I was unable to get a good night's rest. I'm referring to king suite in room 100 in case hotel management reads this. Front desk staff was very professional and kind. Property looks good, but needs some internal upgrades for sure in the rooms.

I like Hampton Inn but this one was the worse. Room was smaller than usual carpet smelled in room. The shower had t be fought with to turn on or off after a cool shower. A much needed upgrae is essential.

My husband and I stayed in a king room. The room was clean, ac works well, the bed was very comfortable.The bedroom is very small, narrow walk way. One person at a time to get between tv and bed. The price was very affordable which is why we stayed for several days. The breakfast was ok, omelet, turkey sausages, red potatoes. And of course your standard buffet breakfast. Some of staff however were not as friendly as I have experienced at other Hampton Inns. Which was very disappointing.

The shuttle bus driver Vinnie was exceptional. Very prompt, assisted with loading/unloading luggage. Dropped us off within a very close distance for our departing flight.

We needed another chair in this room. Each room should have at least 2 chairs. Michael at the front desk made sure that we received one right away. Michael was really helpful when we checked in. Very pleasant.

I will recommend this location every time we stay! We are a military family and this hotel is close to our extended families in Florida. It’s extremely cost effective for us to come down and visit without being stressed about finances. The room and amenities were great and everything was clean. The breakfast was hot and great with good variety and options. During our stay, I had an unexpected hospital trip which meant we needed to extend our stay and the front desk staff was so accommodating and friendly and made the process a breeze. The location is perfect, close to Daytona Beach attractions and close to I95 and I4 to do more traveling and sightseeing. We will definitely stay here again.

upon check-in i was told that i hadnt paid for the room, so had to pay another 2300 for our stay - not happy at all about that! Then the bathroom floor and walls were dirty. Bed was hard as a rock, and the breakfast was poor at best and they ran out of fruit each day before i got any. (i got down there at 8am) Left a day early and accidently left my phone charger, called when i got home, of course no one turned it in. Very disappointing. Only thing worse than the hotel was the race getting pushed and we couldnt stay to watch it.

Cheryl, the manager on site during our stay was absolutely fantastic, she beamed kindness and professionalism on each occasion we interacted with her. At 11pm the evening before our departure, she helped me get an item we could not carry in our luggage packaged and ready for mailing thru USPS, even providing packing material, shipping box, and printing labels. My son is attending a local Daytona University in the fall, and we will stay at Hampton Inn whenever we visit, thanks to Cheryl!

We were at the property for two nights. The first night our AC did not work correctly. We contacted the front desk the next morning. They had a repairman to us in just a few minutes. After working on the unit he replaced the unit. We had a working AC in less than an hour. Awesome service!!!!

The guy who checked us in was very nice and the process was quick and efficient. We chose this hotel because it was close to Embry-Riddle but it’s also right at the speedway. There is a restaurant nearby and shopping etc across the street.

Excellent location. Across the street from Volusia mall. The Room had Excellent Air Conditioning as it was very Hot the days i was there. Excellent Breakfast to start. They had Bagels, White Bread & the delicious Muffins. Would definitely recommend to others. Plenty of Restaurants in the area.

Location was great, very clean. The staff were fantastic. My only complaint was that I went down for breakfast quite early and got myself a bowl of cereal, when I took the first bite I found that the milk was sour. I notified the gentleman and he immediately replaced it but I had lost my appetite by that point.
