The extra fees that were added was a big turn off!! Resort Charge $25.00 a day, parking fee of $35.00 a day. Parking Tax $2.28 a day. State tax and county occupancy $1.63 and $1.50 a day. Over $400.00 I did NOT allow for. I won’t book there again! The elevators didn’t all work. 2 shut down the whole stay and only 2 left to use and one of those didn’t work half the time. Very disappointed with everything. Oh and if you wanted breakfast that was an extra $35.00 per person.

So for starters, we arrived there was an extra $250 we had to pay out of pocket that wasn’t on your website! (( we both reservation specialist looked for it)). Then after that we were told we’d be on the 7th floor, got our keys walked across this huge hotel to the North side to only get to the 7th floor and find out we’d been placed on the 10th floor! Go back downstairs only to get soaked by rain INSIDE the building as the roof started leaking as we were trying to get back to the lobby! Frustrated we finally get to our room to find the furniture is filthy ((dressers and table)) there are no real balconies either! I had chosen ocean view upon arrival still got the horrible city view! We had friends come from all over Florida for a reunion, we were ALL disappointed!! The 5th floor jacuzzi NEVER got hot but we were directed to go to that one bc it was more “private” All in all I was completely shocked and disappointed in our stay as we had 8 girls in total come to Daytona for this reunion! Unbelievable!

Wallpaper peeling off walls, mattresses are beat, bathroom floor tiles chipped in 50 or more places. Shower didn’t drain. Grout stains, dirt on air vents. 3 adults in a 2 bedroom suite with a pull out sofa. Not enough towels, glasses or coffee cups. Called front desk, sent towels and glassware… it was a Tuesday night, not busy with hundreds of vacant rooms… no offer for a new room. hot tub was like ice. Nickel and dime fees on everything. For nearly $400 for one night.. this place is a dump. Shame on you Hilton.

Pros: Location, right on the boardwalk close to everything. Staff was great. Very friendly and accommodating. Pools were nice. Not too packed. Great views. Can watch the live band at night and see the fireworks. (Just wish there was an actual balcony to sit on) Many complain about the long lines checking in and with valet but with how busy it is, it should be expected. Same with the elevators… everyone is trying to get somewhere. If you don’t have luggage, I recommend the stairs. Cons: Parking is expensive. $50+ tax per night for valet. &35+tax per night for offsite parking but it’s a bit of a walk. No balcony, even in the ocean view rooms. Outdated, the cleaners do the best they can but it really needs to be updated. Carpets need replacing, especially since it’s a pet friendly hotel. The direct access to the beach was damaged in a hurricane so you do have to walk pretty far to get onto the beach.

Several issues with our stay. NO BEACH ACCESS from the hotel property. Must walk nearly to the pier to reach the only set of stairs down to the beach. We were told a hurricane last year destroyed all of the stairs. Last year! NO BALCONIES on rooms at this hotel. Elevators were not working for the majority of our stay. Long lines just to go to your room, waited over 20 minutes several times. $25.00 "Resort Fee" as well as a $30.00 per night fee for parking, off site a block and a half away. This added an additional $300 to my bill. Will not be staying at ANY Hilton hotel in the future.

Rooms were dirty. Towels and linen appear to be unwashed: hair on towels and bathroom shower walls (before we used it), bedding had false eye lashes that were not ours and were there on arrival. On our first day, only 1 of 4 elevators were working; no more than 2 elevators the entire trip Thurs-Mon. My group had 4 separate rooms and all were similar experiences. (Having difficulty uploading pics of bedding.) Only positive points were the starbucks immediately out front, how close the convention center was, and some nearby shops and dining.

The hotel is old, in terms of cleanliness the room looked dirty and neglected. In the morning only one elevator worked for the entire hotel. I traveled with a baby and waited for more than an hour for the elevator and it was impossible to get down in it.

This hotel should not be part of the Hilton chain. I normally LOVE staying at Hilton hotels, but we will not be returning here. The front desk was phenomenal when we checked in, and we did not have any contact with staff again until we checked out. The rooms were out dated and not clean by any means. Bathrooms need completely redone - more broken tiles than whole ones, rust in the tub, broken vanity light. Let me add that was the worst shower ever. There were handprints all over the glass for the balcony (which im sure the glass had never been cleaned) and the carpet had definitely seen better days. When it came time to check out, I went to the front desk to hand in my keys and was not offered a receipt for the amounts being charged to my card (resort fee and parking). I normally choose to stay at Hilton because the experience is great and the rooms are top notch, but this hotel is just not it.

I would not recommend this hotel. The bathroom in the room was disgusting and unclean. The room smelled like a sewer and check-in staff pointed me to the wrong elevator of my room after waiting in line for 15 minutes to even get on the ONE working elevator they had. They charge a fee to park diagonally across a busy street. My friend and I got harassed by men right outside the back of the property. There were dead bugs all on the walls of the room. Do not stay here!!!

All of the hotel staff was super friendly and met our needs with no hassle at all. However, the rooms are very dated. Water pressure in the shower was less than mediocre. No real balcony, just an open slider with a safety rail. The self parking lot definitely needs to be redone. The parking lot is a short walk on a good day but can definitely ruin a day if it’s raining outside.

The North Tower is showing its age. Though the room was quiet and the sunset view nice, the bed was overly soft, like the springs were old. The shower had adjustment issues. For the price, it was fine and served us well with a great location.

The stay was okay. This hotel needs upgrades inside and out to me. Our air conditioning wouldn’t come back on after opening the balcony door. The maintenance man had to come up to the room and use a hair dryer to blow it back on or heat it up to work. There are just so many homeless and drug addicts that surround this hotel. I’m sorry but I am just being upfront.

The rooms are run-down and in need of renovation. Not very many included amenities. One communal microwave downstairs. The boardwalk has only stairs to the beach on the far ends because the middle ones have washed out. The elevators are SCARY. And very broken. They hit all the wrong floors and one is very very shaky. Make sure to add 15 minutes of time to whatever you are doing because of the time it takes to get down. The location is close to everything atleast. Parking is $50 for valet plus other fees. Otherwise it’s $35 to park across the street which is not recommended because of the vagrants that wandering around. The boardwalk near Joe’s Crab Shack is not family friendly at night. I was not allowed a 1 time refund waiver for checking out early. I have stayed at hiltons by the beach before in other cities and this was by far the worst. Ocean front view is Beautiful but there is not true balcony. Just a tiny ledge.

We stayed here because the location is great! However, this property needs some serious renovations. Not what you would expect being a “Hilton” hotel. Some of the rooms need the a/c cleaned out or replaced due to mold/musty smell and ineffective at cooling. Bathrooms need new caulk and better ventilation. Rooms are outdated.

Hotel was good. Staff was nice. Room had a lot of quirks. TV stopped working. Took 45 min to get help. Water drains very slow in sink and shower. Bathroom door doesn't shut all the way. Unfortunately there was road work out front that has poor walkways. It caused everyone to walk in the mud and cross midblock. (Bad MOT). You have to pay for parking and park a block away. Plus resort fees and not sure why. Construction on the back made it difficult to get to the beach.

From the moment I arrived, the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort impressed me with its impeccable hospitality. Every staff member—from the valet and bellhop who graciously escorted me and my pup to our room, to the attentive front desk, room service, and restaurant teams—made me feel genuinely welcomed. The bellhop even took the time to show me how to operate the room’s lighting, a small gesture that spoke volumes about the level of service. The resort’s prime location is unbeatable—just steps from the beach and right next to the lively boardwalk filled with shops, restaurants, and bars. I stayed in one of the beachfront cabanas, and it was a dream. Spacious, beautifully situated with breathtaking ocean views, and ideal for pet owners. The outdoor area made it easy to take my dog out, and the abundance of poop stations was a thoughtful touch that made pet care hassle-free. While my overall experience was fantastic, there were a couple of areas that could use attention. The front door to the cabana was quite dirty and difficult to operate, and the shower doors and handle were similarly challenging to use. These minor inconveniences didn’t overshadow the stay, but addressing them would elevate the experience. Despite a few quirks, I wholeheartedly recommend the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort—especially the beachfront cabana.

The main areas were very nice, however the rooms were not as clean neither were the hallways. Upon arriving i saw there was a fee of $35 for parking, after waiting about 10 mins in line i was told that main garage was full and only offsite parking or vallet for $50 p/night was "available ". It was very convenient to the pier, restaurants, and daytona lagoon all walkable. The next morning we went out to the pool, ordered food using a QR code and ended up waiting about 30 minutes just for them to forget our water. I notified staff and the y directed me to a server who was running back and forth helping everyone outside. She said no problem but then passed by me 4 times without it, so i complained and then another person gave it to me mind you about 15 minutes after the original wait time (it was a very hot day with two little kids) i think more than just fine heres your $5 water should've been done at that point. I don't think i would stay again unfortunately.

Hotel is very rundown, beds are super uncomfortable, ac vents had layers of dust, ac doesn’t work, and when you bring up any concerns it’s sorry for the inconvenience we can provide you a credit for resort fee. Broken bed in one bedroom suite. Management switched me to a studio cabana suite. I paid for oceanfront and received a bush and a wooden wall for a view. When i again voiced my displeasure and the unfairness of the rate and room discrepancy i was told "oh well." I am a hilton honors member gold level. I live half the year at hilton hotels and have been going to this location for over 20 years. I will not be back to hilton daytona beach ever again.

I recently stayed at the Hilton Daytona Oceanfront Beach Resort and unfortunately, my experience did not meet expectations. While the location is fantastic—right on the beach with easy access to dining options—several aspects of my stay were disappointing. Firstly, the service was inconsistent. Housekeeping never serviced my room at all during my stay, which was incredibly frustrating. I also encountered delays in addressing other issues, like a broken refrigerator. Most concerning, however, was a serious health and safety issue: after my wife and toddlers had already settled into the room, we discovered blood on the bedding. This was deeply disturbing and completely unacceptable. The fact that my young children were in that environment makes it even worse. It took an unacceptable amount of time and effort to get it resolved, and while we were offered a complimentary breakfast as an apology, the response did not reflect the severity of the situation. Additionally, there were long wait times for the elevators, adding to the overall inconvenience. Given the high cost of the room, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and customer care. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and implements changes to improve the guest experience going forward.

I want to start by saying EVERY single member of staff was incredible, above and beyond in every aspect. Everyone was one and helpful and personable. The issue was the hotel needing maintenance and updates desperately. There was only 1 working elevator during our stay, my wife got stuck in one elevator before it officially went down. The room was clean but needs updating, we were supposed to have a room with a balcony and we did not which I should’ve mentioned but check in was a bit hectic. Plan to pay every night to valet your car, and plan to wait anytime you need to leave or have the car re-parked. Location was the main reason we chose this hotel. It was close to all the things our 7 year old wanted to do, the pool was nice but got crowded so I’d go early. The beach was gorgeous. Overall we had a great time but Hilton needs to invest in fixing up their hotel. I would only book here again if I knew updates were made.

This was my first time staying at the Hilton on the beach in Daytona and although the stay was ok, the staff was very friendly, there were a few things that were extremely frustrating. I had to park across the street which is already inconvenient but fine, but when trying to park across the street in the hotel parking lot which charges $35 per day, there were absolutely no spots available upon my arrival. I spent 20 minutes circling around and around the lot multiple times waiting for someone to come out and leave to try to get a spot while other cars were doing the same. This was extremely frustrating after a long 3 hour drive to get there. This happened two days in a row. I really do not think it is fair to charge $35 per day for that experience two days in a row. Then on Sunday when trying to leave, I needed to be across the street for an event at a certain time but had to wait 40 minutes for an elevator!! I could not take the stairs with all my luggage so had to continually wait. The elevators were not operating properly and there were lines of people on every floor waiting for elevators. It was one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen at a hotel. Very stressful, resulting in me being late for my event. Please have someone from management contact me about this. I would appreciate it. For the amount of money I paid to stay here for two nights, I don’t believe you should have to deal with issues like this.

For being a beach front hotel there was only two ways to get to the beach which included a good walk. When you have kids it’s a lot to have to walk a distance to get to the beach and back to the hotel. If I knew most of the stairs were gone, I would hav le not booked this hotel.

There was currently no beach access at this property. It was not disclosed during the reservation that you would not have access to the beach from this property. The purpose of this trip and booking this hotel was to enjoy the beach, the sand , and the ocean water. I feel that we should receive a credit or a refund for this booking. We were completely misinformed.

The hotel was very nice. It wasn't very busy even with them holding a convention. Staff were all very nice. Easy access to the popular parts of the boardwalk. Only downside was that one elevator was not working and parking was a little expensive.

The bed was comfortable but we were supposed to have a “city view” and all we Could see was a concrete roof. Our sink was clogged and drained VERY slowly even after we called and they did maintenance on it and it made a loud bubbling noise after each use. The shower was clogged and slow to drain as well. The bars closed at 11 even during bike fest BUT the. Attendees were helpful and treated us well. This hotel needs a lot of updates.

I paid more for a deluxe room but at check in they said was all sold out. Got a regular room. Lobby and restaurants were nice. Had small issue with breafast buffet as waitress tried charging all 4 of us as adults and my kids were 10 and 12. But next morning, our waitress was wonderful and explained our kids were supposed to be free per paid adult. Saved us money, wished we had her morning before. Very close to daytona lagoon. You have to walk down towards pier to find a way to the beach. Overall was a good trip.
