The lady, Gwen, thay checked us in was awesome!!! Very accomodating and friendly. The reataurant staff were also great!!! The only thing that was missing (which is the reason i booked this hotel) was the Tiki Bar outside!!! Bring it back PLEASE!

We checked in on Thursday evening with no problem. Had a drink in the bar and they overcharged and then after 30 minutes they still couldn't figure out how to credit the credit card. So they ended up writing on my receipt that they owed me $35 credit. On Friday, we had breakfast and then went to the pool. After two hours relaxing, we were informed by the City of Daytona Beach Shores that we had to pack our bags and leave the premises immediately due to them closing down the facility. Apparently they had over a year to correct the problems and due to the fire code violations and the hotel failing to adhere to the needed changes, the hotel was officially closed. Every single guest had to leave the hotel. We were lucky enough to find another hotel at the last minute but it was significantly higher than what we had originally paid. Still waiting for my refund for my stay.

sink was broken. maintenance had to come back twice to fix. room was not completed finished being renovated. no table, headboard lights wouldn't turn off, no soap trays in shower, fridge didn't cool well, comforter was stained. no parking because half of lot is filled with equipment. only one elevator and one ice machine working

ROACH MOTEL!! Stay away! Paid for 3 rooms and 2 of them had roaches, tried changing a room and still had roaches. Please stay away, I warned you. I asked for a partial refund so I could just get out of there but they wouldn't. And to pay for parking, ridiculous when other hotels on the same strip don't. The rooms look runned down and the pool area was shabby, did not use it. The Ocean view is an angle but your nevertheless see it.

Room was nice, shower had hair in it and the room had a strange smell to it. The room also had a dehumidifier that you had to keep dumping. Hotel only had one working elevator, the other one had a man replacing a tile in it while it was operating. The hotel had 3 vending machines, not one of them worked instead they told you to walk across the street to the 7eleven. Early check in was not avaliable even after they told me I could. The bar restaurant for the hotel had no working AC and depending on who was bartending they charged you $12 for every drink, or if you were lucky you got charged the correct $6.75 for the drink. However they had no quarters so they rounded up and still charged you more. I got the same drink every time and each time the price was different. The property also shows in pictures that it has two large pools in which it does not, it has a small kid pool and 1 adult pool.

The property is non-smoking and the first thing i smelled coming into the third floor was pot. This lasted for 2 days. Several people were smoking at the pool and I only saw management approach one person. The pool water was also cloudy and not clear. There was a layer of brown on the tile along the waterline that was begging to be cleaned.Our original room had portions of the ceiling fall down twice, just missing me. On the back of the fallen chunks was black mold. The front desk did move us to another room. The patio door in our new room did not lock. There was also a dehumidifier in this room that overflowed and there was water all over the floor. The second elevator is out of service, and per the housekeeping staff has been down for 2 years. I wish I could have left. I will not stay here again.

Literal trash/puke in hallways all day/night. Rooms still being cleaned at 6 pm . Ice machines barely worked , vending machines didn’t work. Slow elevator , etc Stained “clean” linens. Mold in showers , fake hair in the pool . Construction in pool area, not closed off. Asked several times for someone to come fix our light in the bathroom, as it was flickering & NOTHING.

What I liked was that it was updated in the photos. Clean looking. Pool was nice. Looks are deceiving. This trip has been by far my worse experience. Very concerned with the amount of roaches especially in second room room704. Everywhere. In the lights, clock, tv, drawers, cook top and across the floor from one unit to another. I have it on video and will plan on posting it. Treated rudely after complaining. Tv not working. They woyld not come and get it one after they promised after 24 hours. Highly disappointed.

There were multiple cockroaches in our room, ranging in size and species also had a significant ant problem. There was blood and fecal matter on the wall in our bathroom and snot and boogers on the wall in the sleeping area. One elevator was broken. The other elevator literally had duct tape on it as a repair.

Dated but clean facility. Cleanliness is most important to me. The bar drinks we got wasn’t the best but they weren’t the worst. Staff was very friendly. Something to note is almost all rooms have an ocean view. I paid extra to have ocean view and was put on the first floor in front of the pool. In the end I wasn’t mad about it since it was convenient pool access. Would stay again.

The rooms are huge and having a kitchen in our room made our 3 week stay much more affordable. And walking out the sliding glass door right to the pool was awesome! Most of the staff were very friendly and the DJ on Saturdays at the pool was an added bonus. Will definitely be back!

We have stayed here plenty of times. This time we had a first floor and the sliding door to patio did not lock. We put in multiple maintenance request with no results. We had to use the ironing board in room to secure door shut.

Not much to look at on the outside but clean and smelled good on the inside. Room was nice. Staff were friendly. Very large pool and restaurant/bar on site. A bit of construction going on as they remodel their tiki bar. Not a ton of pool furniture and our mini fridge door kept opening on its own so didn’t stay too cold but wasn’t a dealbreaker for us. I’d stay again.

Our experience was Very Good. The view to the Ocean was wonderful. The room was very clean, reformed, the king bed was excellent and confortable. But the air conditioning was very noisy and it was difficult to sleep. Thank you!!

Great location! Rooms were clean and updated. Room had a portable dehumidifier that we had to empty several times during our stay. It was unexpected but we were thankful it was there. The rest of the facility could use updating and repairs. The pictures do not show how the facility actually looks. Door closures need attention. We were woken every night by slamming doors.

Room was newly renovated and nice and clean but the rest of the hotel is old and run down not maintained at all. Pool are was unkept weeds everywhere. The room next to us had a party still going at 2am and where smoking all night which we could smell coming through the interconnecting door was not ideal for our kids.

Have used this hotel for over 20 years of course updates were done and the updates were nice. The staff that is working at the hotel now was very unprofessional. Check-in was extremely long due to the Employee lack of being able to multitask and the way he made each person wait. The only staff member that was professional was the lady when checking out. Of course it was a shock to myself and my husband for having to pay $15 to park in a parking lot that we’ve always parked in for over 25 years and it cost nothing no security no anything the same little paper that they always had to put in your window overnight prepaid for the room so the additional $100 for incidentals that got returned upon leaving was unexpected because that has never happened either we do realize things have changed in our economy. The water pressure in the rooms were very low hot water was very very scarce maybe warm at the most Only three towels for the whole entire stayof 3 nights had to go out and buy towels and we had a kitchenette room no utensils in the kitchen whatsoever asking for an explanation I was told upon request that I could get them because people steal them but if you book a room that is a kitchenette, you already know who’s going to be in the room you have the card on fileI should not have had to ask so I went out and bought our own. Decided we won’t use this hotel anymore. Quality has really deteriorated.

I only stayed at the hotel for one night it would’ve been more however the staff was very unfriendly and apparently not up-to-date with company policies because I was told one thing and when I got there it was treated another so I would think twice before staying there. Although there is much at this hotel to be grateful for, the check-in experience was one of the worst! It took over a half hour because of walk-in guests, and the world's loudest attic fan screamed the entire time. However, I will say that despite this, the attendant on duty-- Sajid--was extremely patient, and showed gold star customer service even though he also had to listen to the world's loudest attic fan all day long as well. He also had to handle walk-in guests and impatient customers. Sajid was a bright spot in this otherwise dull and frustrating experience. Also, just a maintenance note--the room I stayed in not only did not have toilet paper, it didn't even have a place for toilet paper, and the door did not shut on it's own accord.

Got to the hotel after driving 2 1/2 hours only to be informed that my reservation had been cancelled which i was not notified ahead of time. The gentleman at the front desk was very sweet about though and informed me that it was nothing did wrong. He apologized and told me that they were completely booked but if something came available he would contact me. I wish i would have gotten his name because that was very sweet of him.

Short staffed everywhere. Guests were waiting 4+ hours for their rooms.. anger & rage. Receptionist held it together, he deserves a trophy! restaurant had 1 server for the entire place.. free bar drinks were apparently most important. Trash was everywhere inside & out. Room was VERY wet & sticky. Refrigerator did not work. Patience was extremely exercised… very disappointed…

Horrible experience checking in for the room. The process was not easy and had to wait to check in with my children, one with important medicine has to be refrigerated along with my groceries of checked in that was spoiled due to the wait time. We were not able to get into our room until 6:30pm. The hotel was not accommodating at all.

I like the area. Winn Dixie and 7-11 across the street. Restaurants close by. Beach is awesome. Like most hotels around there it's not new. They do a pretty good job at keeping up the property.. but it's a beach front hotel. Expect the salt and the sand to create constant maintenance.

This location was perfect! After hurricane damage, you can tell they prioritized beach access, as they had a new gate and stairs to the beach. The rooms are updated and the rest of the hotel is charming. Check in was easy and accommodating. I'd skip the restaurant, though. The menu we recevied at the table was different than the one online, missing many of the items and huge price increases. The pool water was too cold for our stay in March, but it looked really nice and clean! Would recommend

Great service, good location, okay rooms, terrible...terrible building. Everyone was really nice but the level of deferred maintenance on this building is borderline scary. Stucco chipping off the walls, one balcony was missing guard rails and had a sheet of plywood for fall protection, light posts in the parking lot were rusted through and flaking, funky smell in common areas which was made worse by an attempt to cover it up with air fresheners. Would not recommend.

Service in the restaurant was really slow. Took over 30 minutes to get lunch after we ordered and there was only one other table in the restaurant. Also very warm in the restaurant. Guests were slamming doors and running around and being loud all night. Staff stood outside our door and talked. Over all very loud. We have started here 4 times and this was the worst. Brad was hard and the pillows small and flat. We like it because the pool is nice and is right in the ocean. Staff is generally friendly.

Five story building with only one working elevator. We were given two tickets for free drink in the bar restaurant but the A/C was broke, hotter in there than outside. Never dined there for any meals. Very glad that I didn’t pay for the breakfast ahead of time.

Floors felt sticky. Shower was super slippery. Restaurant Traders was horrible. We were given two free drinks to use and went and had lunch. When time came to pay, we were told they were only for drinks on a speciall menu and at the bar. We were never told this and our drinks were definitely well drinks. Last the food was medicre bar food, nachos, egg rolls and chicken bites were all meh. Bill was $57. Not impressed.

The dinning facility gets a 1-star. Service & Food was very poor. I had a large group of 20 people for dinner and half the group left due to service was at a snail pace & server came back 20-30 unexceptional later to say they didn’t have 2 main meals on the menu. We asked for an additional server to assist with taking orders & getting our drinks but the manager said no & he did not offer to help his server. The food was awful for those who stayed for their meals. I hated the vegetable side dish and the ribs were all fatty. The whole process for dinner from start to finish was 2 hrs. This was unexceptable and a huge disappointment for me and my group. I will not book this hotel for next year’s Biketoberfest.
