Really nice hotel great rooms great lobby. Pool area is fantastic with access to the beach. Stayed in Daytona a few times and this is by far the best I've stayed in. Nice restaurant on site also

Exceptional staff and great views. The pool and hot tub are great. Tiki bar is well stocked and convenient. Rooms are very clean. Only negative is the dining room. Staff great but food is TERRIBLE!! Plenty of nearby places to eat though.

no microwave in room. Hot tub not working. $18 a day self parking off property. $30 a day resort fee per day added to bill at check out . Was not informed of this charge prior to stay. No ice machine on my floor. Not being picky. But for what you’re paying. Better deals elsewhere in area !!

Beautiful Hotel with Great Views, but Checkout and Pool Experience Fell Short I recently stayed at the Daytona Grande Oceanfront Hotel and overall had a pleasant stay. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a fantastic location right on the beach. The ocean views from the room were stunning, and the rooms themselves were spacious and comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and professional, and the property has a lot of potential. However, there were a couple of downsides. The pool was much smaller than expected for a hotel of this size. During the first couple of days (weekday stay), it was manageable and relatively clean. But once the weekend hit, the pool became overcrowded and noticeably dirty, which really took away from the experience. It felt more like a motel-style pool than one you'd expect at a beachfront resort of this level. Also, my checkout experience was very frustrating. I requested bell service and was told it would be about a 30-minute wait, but I ended up waiting an hour and a half. There was little communication and no sense of urgency, which was disappointing and stressful at the end of an otherwise nice trip. Overall, the Daytona Grande has great potential with its location and views, but I hope management improves the pool maintenance and bell service to better match the standards the hotel is aiming for.

Beautiful, clean Parking is a disaster unless you valet

Everything was great. Only complaint is pool closed at 8pm. We had a party of 30 with us and there was nothing to do after 8pm. We went to the beach and then found ourselves stranded because the back doors were closed and no room key readers available. Had to walk all around the block and enter through main lobby.

Great location. Everything in Daytona was s short distance away. Pool to beach private access was a plus.

The room was clean, the view from our oceanfront room was spectacular, and the food from the pool bar was delicious. The drinks were also good, and I liked getting the 2 vouchers with our room. I didn’t like not having the ability/option to get luggage carts and take our luggage to and from our room ourselves.

This place was great! The rooms and hotel were super clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only issue i had, which i didnt deduct for is the poolside bar says open until 7, but never stays open past 5. They should put a disclaimer that its business dependant on the closung time,rather than saying open till7

The hotel staff provided excellent customer service- from front desk staff to housekeepers to bar staff. The hotel is so clean!! Housekeeping staff do a great job!

When the app says this is what you pay total that is not true,it cost me 36.00 to park,and a additional 30.00. the room floor,on the 24th floor was dirty had not been swept in a while. I walked around in my socks and the bottoms were dark brown. When I pulled the blanket back there was a candy wrapper between the sheets. Awful stay obviously the sheets were not changed. I went down and the gentleman at desk said well what do you want me to do house keeping is already gone.

Very clean room and customer service was fantastic! The views in the suite are incredible, this is our second stay at this resort and will be back again!

Excellent staff and beach view. Our room was not cleaned after Sunday we started all week. That was a bit disturbing. We had to ask for towel service everyday.

A few things that need some care but won’t stop me from booking my next visit include, there was hair in the shower from someone else, a lot ( I took pic but cleaned it before my husband could see it and make a fuss), the ac was not working very well in the unit, it was warm even at night. We reported it but not sure if anyone came to look at it-no one shared a report back to us, and the food from the restaurant looked better than it tasted (especially for how much we paid-very disappointing, we did share this). Having said all that, I do want to go back as you are down the road from my daughter’s college now.

Clean stocked and nicely decorated

The suites are beautiful with wonderful views from oceanfront balconies and ceiling to floor windows. The kitchenettes are convenient, and the beds are so comfortable.

Everything was nice and clean, comfortable bed, easy access to the beach, and everything was in walking distance. My wife and I truly enjoyed our visit. Very minor dislike… Water pressure to shower wasn’t that strong and the daily parking price was a little high to be across the street. I do recommend visiting this hotel, it's a great place to stay.

Beautiful clean property. Great staff. Right on the beach. Beautiful scenery if you select ocean front view. Only drawback is that the rooms are NOT soundproof which is one of the reasons why I chose this property. This issue however was quickly addressed and handled after speaking with hotel staff.

My standard room was ENORMOUS. I could have held a dance on the floorspace.

The pool was great. My only complaint was the air conditioning sitting on the balcony and also while sleeping was very loud.

My room was 2601. All night long I heard the elevator making a banging noise.

It’s a great location, and the rooms are beautiful. One of the nicer hotels in Daytona. For sure. This is my second time staying here. My one issue with this hotel is the customer service attitude of the employees. Whether it be room service, the check in process, and definitely the marketplace. The employees there very much need training on how to provide quality customer service. The moral isn’t there and it seems they could care less.

The Best thing about this place was the staff. Specifically Andi at the front Desk who made my wife and I smile and feel so welcomed when we checked in. Andi totally set the tone for a wonderful experience which we did have thanks to her.

I was able to check early the room was exactly what I wanted.The staff was amazing no long wait for your car .Everyone greeted you with a smile.

Kudos to whoever manages this property. Our stay was amazing. The property is absolutely gorgeous. All of the staff are professional, polite and personable. The service was truly impressive!

The accommodations were absolutely wonderful. Clean, modern, very upscale, but affordable. The food was good. Everything was great, except the staff. I have never been to a hotel where it appeared as if everyone hated their job. They all mumbled when they spoke and seemed irritated when asked a question. Especially the front desk and the snack shop cashiers. I never had an encounter with them that I didn’t feel like I was bothering them. The bar tenders by the pool barely acknowledged people. It took them forever to speak and it wasn’t busy. Overall a terrible staff.

Staff is unresponsive, unhelpful, and unwilling to assist. I needed to check out a day earlier for an emergency, and they “okayed” it and indicated they would mark the account appropriately. Refused to allow me time to call Expedia however to get their approval on the spot. We have since made numerous calls and emails since to confirm and zero response and they billed me for services not rendered after check out, which I now need to fight with the bank. We also arrived 10 minutes before 11 and they said they wouldn’t accommodate us for 10 more minutes unless we paid $50, even though room ready. One of the most service lacking experiences.

I stayed at this hotel over the holiday and, unfortunately, my experience was quite mixed. Cons: Check-in Process: Check-in was frustrating. Although the official check-in time was 4:00 PM, we arrived at 5:00 PM and still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes. Even after that, our room wasn’t ready and we had to wait another hour. Customer Service: The front desk staff were not welcoming — in fact, they came across as quite rude. There was also no flexibility offered for a late checkout, despite the delays at check-in. Room Comfort: The air conditioning unit in the room was extremely noisy, making it hard to sleep. Additionally, the pillows were uncomfortable. Valet Service: The valet system is slow and inefficient. The self-parking lot is right in front of the hotel, but there's very little information about it. Most guests end up stuck in the valet line only to find out later. When I tried to retrieve my own car to speed things up, I was told I had to wait — I wasn’t allowed to get it myself. Restaurant Charges: The hotel restaurant automatically adds an 18% tip to the bill, giving guests no choice, which felt a bit forced. Pros: The hotel itself is modern and new. The pool area is very nice. The restaurant serves good food, even though the prices are on the higher side. Check in was very behind. Front desk staff was rude. Pool area is very small for the size of hotel.

Beautiful resort atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Clean updated rooms etc. Delicious breakfast. Parking was the only downside to the stay. Garage was across the street. Didn't appear very safe, no security with a lot of vagrants in the area.

Had a corner suite facing the ocean that was really nice. View out of the floor to ceiling windows is fantastic. Was hard for the AC to keep the room cool with the sun blasting through mid morning though. Maybe some clear heat resistant tint would help. Staff was very helpful but over whelmed at check in and check out times for the busy holiday weekend. We walked down the beach to Joe’s Crab Shack on the pier and everyone in our party said meal was good. Next morning we ate breakfast at IHOP across the street, it was alright, sort of sketchy area around the hotel. Next time I’d like to try the hotel restaurant. Beach and Pool areas were very nice. Several lifeguards positioned along the beach in front of the hotel. Views from the 22nd floor were incredible. Saturday night we watched the fireworks on the pier from our balcony with the lightning storm in the background. Was a great weekend overall and I’d go back for sure.

Bad area with lots of homeless people with few ok restaurants within walking distanse. Worn down neighbourhood. Did not feel safe outside the hotel.

Restaurant staff very friendly (specially Theresa and Sarah) and food was above average quality which was a convenient option than going out after a day on the beach. But the pool bar staff was apathetic and acted like they were doing us a favor. Probably because there is a 18% automatic tip which allows apathy to thrive. Beds are comfortable and rooms have great views. Small kitchen is a nice amenity. House keeping was fine in the rooms but for some reason the hallways were not vacuumed leaving a poor impression. Maid never got off her phone the whole time our room was being cleaned. Impressive one handed mopping of the floor! The front desk staff was generally glad to see you but one person never smiled and made you feel unwelcome- no names in case just a bad week but I suspect management must know given attitude was unchanged during our 3 night stay. Not a good first impression. No beach chairs are provided by the resort but for a mere $50, a local business will rent them to you. Overall a quality property but with a little management training, could be a great property.

Excellent hotel, fantastic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the city. The breakfast was excellent as was the food from the pool bar. The service is friendly, the rooms are clean and everything is top notch.

I stayed at this property for 2 nights and overall its a beautiful place, very polished, very clean. There were a couple complaints i did have however. 1. No complimentary water in the room. And secondly they have built-in 18% gratuity on everything, dinner, drinks, gift shop, snack stand, doesn't matter.

Everything about our stay was first class. Great housekeeping. Great bartenders and staff. Room was comfortable and the ocean view was excellent. You won't regret staying here. Absolutely beautiful and clean property. Excellent service. There was an issue with our shower having very low water pressure. They immediately addressed it and installed a brand new rainfall shower head, problem solved. The only cons are that the pool closes at 10 pm, 2 hours earlier than the other hotels next door. I found that very disappointing. Also, no beach access after 10 pm even though the beach is open 24/7. The restaurant in the hotel, "The Abolone" was an absolute and utter disappointment. Subpar food that wasn't edible. Wouldn't even consider eating there after 2 failed attempts. Room service was terrible. Breakfast wasn't up to the level of a 4 star hotel. Aside from those two issues, I loved our stay here. Good food can be found in the area. The pros were worth dealing with the cons. The homeless community was a bit surprising in this area but nothing the hotels can do about that. Restaurant recommendations; Hull's Seafood, Ormand Beach The Garlic, New Smyrna Beach Mama Foo Foo's, Daytona Beach All excellent dining options

Our stay was great. Our only complaint was the in house restaurant food was not so good. There was only one small page of a few selections on the day we went in so we chose the burger. The burger was burnt so I wasn't able to finish mine. I didn't want to wait for a new burger or bother the waitress nor add stress to my vacation so I didn't say anything about it. We just ate elsewhere for the rest of our trip. Other than that, the hotel, our room, the view, and the location was amazing!
