Hotel was nice. Loved the themed memorabilia. Lots of great common areas to lounge in, inside and out. View of the ocean from balcony room was great. Enjoyed borrowing guitar and amp sent up to our home room. No charge. Fun vibe listening to live music at the sessions restaurant on site. Nice pool area and beach access. Front desk staff and restaurant staff that we encountered were all very friendly. Stayed on a quiet rainy couple of days so didn’t get to take in any outdoor entertainment. But really enjoyed our stay anyway.

Great room with beach view. Lots of amenities. Great food in the restaurant in lobby area. Pools, beach access. Joes crab shack on the Pier about 10 minute walk down the beach. No on site laundry, no microwave in unit, but otherwise great room. Parking charge and other resort charges but expected on vacation. Friendly, helpful staff. Great trip with my son.

It would be great to have curtesy lounge chairs and an umbrella from the hotel. Most hotels and resorts have this outdoor amenities. We had to spend extra $60 dollars for a pair of beach chairs and an umbrella per day.

The property is absolutely stunning! If you book here you don't have to worry about not going out. It's got a nice pool, on the beach, and nice hot tubs to enjoy. Restaurant and bar. Nice game room for the kids as well.

Pros: The hotel was so clean, especially for a beach resort. The view from our room (520) was amazing. Beach access was easy. Cons: parking is across the street and the cross walk is far away, so you feel like you are going to get run over every time you need to get to the car. The guest service guy who checked us is had a horrible attitude, maybe he wasn’t having a good day, but it made me reluctant to ask questions. The free drink for two that was supposed to come with our stay was not presented to us at check in, but I was too afraid to ask the guy anything because he just seemed so angry. The bad front desk experience was really off putting and makes me not want to go back.

Stayed at the Hard Rock in Daytona Beach. Bed bugs found in the room. Even had a photo to show management. Disposed of suitcases and clothing. Was promised a refund and a report from the exterminator, both of which never happened. Broken promises and bed bugs. You have a choice and this should not be one of them.

I totally enjoyed my stay. Beautiful facility. Access to ocean shopping and food. One concern that I have is the carpet in my room was damp!!!! The bed was comfortable. The view was great.

Hard Rock has a charge for EVERY thing and on top of the charge you will have an 18% tip! It’s absolutely ridiculous and I was hit with a 179 resort fee PLUS, a 25 dollar per day for parking and a 300 deposit that is still a “hold” on my account and we left yesterday morning!!!! Parking was awful, never spaces and the system you have to use NEVER works. I was almost hit trying to turn in because of the line of cars that were unable to use the parking readers during a hard rain. I am def not happy with the “hidden fees” with this resort.. The pool was dirty with sand and NO live entertainment on the outdoor stage as advertised.. I only seen one band the entire time we were there and it was at the restaurant, we left a day early! I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, Sorry. It ruined our annual family vacay ☹️

Bugs in first room. Second room was good but not properly cleaned. Plates from former guests stayed outside my door my entire trip, crumbs on table when I arrived, bathroom floor wasn’t clean. Currently it’s the best hotel on the strip but it’s only a matter of time before it becomes like the rest if the cleaning crew isn’t retrained!!!!!

Unfortunately my stay at the Hard Rock hotel wasn’t as I expected it to be. Besides the beautiful lobby. When we walked in our room, the odor was a bit strong, not sure if it was fabric odor or previous multiple body odors that get stuck on the walls. Typically walls collect odors and grime as time passes by and that is always overlooked. Also my home wasn’t working so when we were really hungry, I spent 30 minutes trying to dial, reconnect and reset it and nothing there which frustrated me to the point where I ended up calling the customer service from Expedia email receipt and they transferred me over to the lobby front desk number and then they took my order. The food was delicious but the person who delivered it made my wife uncomfortable because he didn’t go in and out as smooth as possible but dragged his way in and looked all around the room as he walked in and then walked out. There were some areas where there was rust like the lamp with all the lightbulbs on them in the corner of the room. Also when we wanted to eat, we had no way of knowing where to find the menu so we had someone bring us one manually. Also when I checked in, I told the guy that needed a pack and play and he said he would request it into the room and I never got it until I came back and told another older gentlemen and finally it got delivered. The carpet also seems a bit dirty if you really look at it. Also if they could add exactly what time the amenities open and close somewhere in room.

Hiden cost at check out. The room wasnt cool and the fridge didn't get cold enough to cool drinks. The staff was great and room was very clean. $25 a day to park also.

I’ve been to many properties on the beach in Daytona, and this one far surpassed any expectations. The staff truly stood out, from the valet to the front desk to the poolside service, and the restaurant. Whoever manages this property goes above and beyond to try and surround themselves with people who are dedicated, and truly seem to love what they do. Now for the property, the room was huge! The pool and beach access stunning. I stayed on the third floor and there is a huge patio that overlooks the ocean. They had live entertainment as well. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful Beachfront Hotel with Great Amenities (But Be Aware of the Noise) We had a great stay at this beachfront hotel. The location is perfect, with two large pools that were never too crowded and plenty of pool chairs available. We especially enjoyed the drink service by the pool and the variety of dining options, including outdoor dining, an indoor restaurant, and a quick-serve spot. The only downside was the noise from nightly outdoor live music. While the entertainment was fun, if you have an oceanfront room, it can be very loud and goes past 11 p.m. We also happened to be there at the end of Jeep Week—something we weren’t aware of—which included a tiki party that was even louder than the usual live music. Thankfully, the hotel was very accommodating and moved us to a quieter, city-facing room for one night, which we really appreciated. A surprise bonus: we got to watch the SpaceX CRS-32 launch right from our balcony! It was an unforgettable experience. If you’re considering staying here, definitely check the SpaceX launch schedule—you might get lucky!

Definitely had the Hard Rock vibe and decor you would expect. Service was mostly pretty good, however the staff didn't ever really jump to address any concerns. We had a King Oceanview Balcony Room. View was quite good (no obstructions). However the room wasn't in great shape (the bathroom door scrapped on the flooring and would catch the bath mat, and the bathroom sink did not drain properly). And the water never gets very hot in the sink or the shower. And the room was generally pretty small.

We loved everything about the hotel except for the temperature of the room. The hotel controls the room temperature and they have it set at 67 but the room rarely reaches 67. Most of the time our room stayed around 72 and it was so warm that we could not even sleep. No one offered us a fan or any other solution. We paid extra for a room that faced the ocean but couldn’t open the sliding door because the air shuts once that sliding door opens. If you like it warm this is a perfect spot for you. Very close walk to beach and the pool is very nice. There is a restaurant on the premises which is very convenient and the food was great. The kids loved the arcade. Most staff was very accommodating but the managers weren’t helpful with solutions to a hot room.

Dreamed of staying at the hard rock for years as of been down to Daytona on a multitude of trips. Very disappointed with the room size, and the bar and restaurant staff. They were rude as hell and I’m extremely easy to get a long with.

From the valet, to check in, to dining at the restaurant and the housekeeping opening the door several times while I was getting dressed the morning of check out, absolute worst customer service ever. I had to get the valet’s attention while he talked to his colleague, stood there waiting for several minutes, check in person was less than pleasant just a terrible vibe in general. There were several sets of lights didn’t work in the room but worst of all the sensor light in the bathroom went dark every time I used the bathroom. Total girls trip bust at this location. We stay in Tampa often and will be very hesitant to stay at this Hard Rock location again. Very disappointing.

it took over 20 minutes to check in. no one at front desk new of my 20year anniversary i had submitted to them prior to check in. got to the room to find two provided keys DID NOT WORK. Had to go back down to lobby and wait in line to get them redone ....was told they were having issues with key maing equipment. valet didn't tell us we had option of self parking. It was so busy they just wanted to move cars out of the way quickly. We moved our car after check in when learning of this less expensive option. Self parking gates were very difficult to get open with key. I had to get out of the car to stand next to equipment to get it to read the chip to open the arm. No breakfast was available to us until after 7am. Really???? For the price charge for this room you'd think Hard Rock would have some kind of coffee and muffin station. We needed to leave the hotel for an event by 7am. Less expensive hotels offer free breakfast and have it by 6:30am. Very disappointed overall!

Staff can be very hit or miss. Some came off snotty, but helpful when asked. Others plesant from the go. Did not recieve our "VIP" gift on check in, had to ask for it on last night of stay after the reminder email from expedia. A huge black mark was check out day (today as I write this). $400/night buys me from 4pm-11pm. This morning at 9am I heard a couple quick knocks at the door as I came out of the bathroom in my tighty whities, and I just had time to duck behind the wall as housekeeping opened the door, not cool. The room was close to being perfect. Very nice, but sliding door to balcony just about required the two of us to open. It was very stiff to open and close. The sliding glass door of the shower was similarly very stiff until one of the rollers fell off causing the door to drop. I put it back together as good as I could having not packed a set of allen keys. We also noted a cigarette butt on the balcony despite the "no smoking on balcony" signage. They allow pets, not a good move IMO. There is really no where outside for them to do their business for starters. I was also attacked by a pair of yappy yorkies in the hallway one night. Self parking is very easy, but it is across the street. There is a lit Ped X walk there but its fairly easy to cross anywhere most of the time. Surrounding area was pretty rough as I write this in Apr\'24 Lot of closed/empty retail outlets and hotels. Sidewalks covered in sand etc. Not a lot of effort being put into keeping itclean

Friendly helpful staff, loved that our room was ‘pinked’ meaning 15% of the charge for the room goes towards breast cancer charity. The bathroom was also excellent with a great shower. We ate at the restaurant and had an amazing dinner with a great singer playing. Unfortunately the pool was a little too cool for us as there was a keen wind blowing, I can imagine it being amazing if it was a little warmer.

Just be aware after 9 pm your food options are pretty much non-existent. My review is what it is because I got two different trees or parking for valet parking and nobody at this property seems to be bothered to respond to my email or numerous phone messages trying to get this cleared up.

Hard Rock Hotel interior was great. I expected more dining options, but the cafe on site had fabulous cuisine and we enjoyed our meals there. It is an older building but the interior and pool are wonderful. I would recommend this hotel.

We had bands off our balcony 2 nights in a row. Great shows and we had a blast. Nice pool area and a decent beach. I would definitely stay here again. Food is a little pricey, but good quality.
