Checked in and was in line listening to another person checking in having an issue with a $100 security deposit they magically implemented that same day. Notes were posted about it the next day. The $100 security deposit ONLY applies if you do not book under choice hotels. Beware! The room I was given is in the back of the hotel. You will not get any wifi signal in the back. EconoLodge needs to be aware of that! New fixtures in the room but you can still see the wear and tear on things. The tub has rust spots and chipped spots on it. The refrigerator was not sitting in the spot it's intended to sit in under the TV. The back of the remote where the batteries are is missing. What looks like someone tried to punch a hole in the bathroom door exists! Laundry room I can say exists and worked fine for me. My second day there I seeked out housekeeping to get replacement towels. I was given the go ahead by a man to take some off the cart. The woman cleaning the room came out cursing at me for doing so until the man told her it was ok. Was definitely NOT appreciated. Apparently the rooms in line in the back were due for phone installs. Would have been good that I was there when whoever did the install came in and did the install. Luckily things I had in the room were NOT missing. Service was horrible. The pool was not available,The breakfast was not available. The tv had no remote,I killed two roaches.I awould never stay there again. You should check the hotels you make available. I would probably not use you any more.

The lady that checked us in was very nice and that was the best part. Breakfast was told to be included when booking the reservation, when we got there nothing was said about no breakfast we tried getting breakfast the next morning and there was a note on the door due to renovations there is no breakfast. The property had peeling paint everywhere, the ac units didn't have proper drainage so there was water everywhere and bubbling paint with water in it. It's a smoke free facility but walking by most of the rooms you can tell they smoke and smoke weed it's not a pleasant smell. When trying to get in our room we had to keep going to the office because the key wouldn't work and each time, I made 4 trips to the desk just for my key during our stay. The rooms could use updates of furniture and paint. Took awhile to get hot water for a shower. One night during our stay at 2am people were outside yelling, fighting and falling down drunk and almost came through the window to our room, I had to use my cell phone to try and call the front desk but no one answered and there was no phone in the room at all and it felt unsafe leaving my room. It quieted down a little after 3am so I was able to sleep some before getting up and checking out.

One bed was barely stable, seemed as if headboard was unattached. Lots of band fixes in the room that seemed questionable. No laundry/room cleaning while we were there. Not nearly enough parking, had to park in no parking zones and they wouldn’t guarantee we wouldn’t be towed. Room was sub par as far cleanliness goes. Pool was also out of order. Just disaappointed over all.

The room was so dirty it was discussing. After taking a shower my girlfriend and i were getting dressed we noticed the bottom of our feet looked like we walk out in the parking lot. The next moring we went to the front desk to ask them if they could have the maid or someone mop the floor. When we arrived that evening we npticed nothing was cleaned. The last morning before checkout I went to the front desk to get some clean towels. I was given 2 bathtowels and some dirty rags , they weren't even washcloths they were towles that were cut i to rags and they were dirty. So disappointed in they contion and service we received during our stay. The hotel is around four hundred unit. We did not see maids cleanings any rooms let alone our room, not even one maid cart in the two days we were there.

The room was very dirty and had evidence of roaches all over, including live roaches. Fixtures were not dusted and had accumulation of dust. The fridge was extremely rusted at the bottom. The floor was very dirty. The condition required check out early. I will not use Days Inn again. There was a roach that crawled up my arm on the first night when I went to sleep!

Property/room was disgusting and unkept. There was still painters tape at the top of the shower, drywall dust all over the counters, dead bugs, stains, etc. it was clearly not cleaned or maintained. We stayed the night because we arrived so late but upon finding two cockroaches (not palmetto bugs) early in the morning we immediately vacated the room. I would not recommend to anyone.

The lobby was gross. It was not only out dated but super messy, just nasty. We walked outside and a shirtless tattoo guy was having a conversation on the balcony regarding prison stays and other things that should not be talked about AT ALL, especially in public. The room was disgusting. The floors were so dirty, we wore shoes. I paid not only the $135 for the night but there’s a hold on my card for $105 as well. I honestly don’t know why this place is still in business.

We didn’t stay. We checked out 15 min after checking in. There was a light shade missing, the only light that did work was in the bathroom. The bedding was dirty, the mattress was disgusting. The toilet seat was chopped and the floor had marks in it. There were crack heads hanging out all around the building outside. My friend and I did not feel safe staying there let alone leaving our car in the parking lot. (We are both female) the woman outside were practically naked and we were told they don’t give refunds. 3 days later I still have not received my $100 deposit back. I have NEVER seen/been in a hotel room in this bad of condition. The pictures online are nothing what the room looks like. Shame on you Days Inn for making us think it is a decent place and then won’t even give us a refund when we checked in at 7:15pm and checked out at 7:30pm. Our safety and health is way more important.

Man that checked us in was very polite. Rooms are older but have been renovated. Furniture was new and room was clean. We ran out of toilet paper, lobby was locked during breakfast hours, ice machine did not work, no coffee pots in rooms, no wash cloths were provided, and heat did not work.

Rick provided me with exceptional customer service. The original room I was given had a few issues with it, but Rick was extremely helpful and changed me to a much better room. I was given service with quickness and a smile. I will definitely be booking this hotel every time I go to Daytona.

The ladies at the front desk were amazing they let me check in early no extra charge. Made me feel safe as I was arriving alone. Great service had no issues for the price I have no complaints

This was, by far, the worst Days Inn I have ever been to. The front desk person threw my ID away and was snarky and rude. She was not pleasant, nice, or accommodating, all the characteristics required to be in hospitality. I am appalled that Days Inn has their name associated with such a horrible hotel.

I booked a smoking room, was advised that they not only didnt have them at that location but also did not do breakfast as advertised. The night check in wouldnt give me my key until after i gave him a hug. He also stated that the 100$ deposit i was unaware of would be refunded to my card immediately upon check out. The next morning i left the room at 1030 and was almost run over by the day check in who then demanded to know when i was checking out. I advised her i was on my way now she then pushed passed me to look at the room. When she got back to the front desk she advjsed me that not only would it take uo to a week to get the refund but that my cashapp would probably bot refund it ar all. Several cameras are pointed directly into rooms. Overall i dont recommend this property. And for women checking in at night, take someone with you.

The staff are absolutely rude and completely inconsiderate. I made my reservation through Expedia and paid however when I got to the property he tried to charge me another night and $100 security deposit so by the time it was all said and done my card was charged over $300 for a $63 night insane never again

It’s terrible that they are continued to be in this site when they charge a 100.00 deposit but fail to put it where other hotels do. They text you this info after booking. It’s scammhsh and should not be able to be done.

Property directly in the landing path of the airport, you will jump out of bed at 6am at the sound of a jet above you ! The room I was in had a FILTHY floor, the toilet was not secured to the floor and in the three days I stayed the cleaning staff never cleaned the room or replaced towels. The desk cler was pleasant ?

Good value. Clean & good free breakfast. Check the Daytona Race Track schedule though. I was there during the 24 hour HSR Classic and it was LOUD. Yes, I could hear the cars racing at midnight even 2 miles away...it was still going at 7:00 am!

The rooms was tidy but dated.. Not sure if they are in the process of renovating or new management because it seem like the receptionist staff was very attentive, so I'll credit them for that. Location was directly off I95, a bit too close to it as you're merging with offramp traffic, but its not their fault. But overall, it was Biketober fest, so all rooms in that area had elevated prices, so I won't complain about the $136 a night. So on a whole, room was okay. Light switches, headboards, toilets, outlet plugs and curtains should definitely be addressed. At least the 2 rooms I had because one had a broken air conditioner. Oh, you can TOTALLY ELIMINATE THE BEIGE BED SPREAD that you guys NEVER CHANGE or TAKE OFF during stays..

I didnt like the fact that even though the breakfast is complementary the still try to charge en extra 20 bucks for wanting to eat your food in your room. They dont even have enough seating available to accommodate all their guest. And the bteakfast is absolutely bare minimum.

The first room we got was disgusting. Water was pouring out of the refrigerator but the lady was super nice and immediately switched rooms, next room wasn’t terrible. Definitely a better bathroom and beds, but went to eat breakfast half of it was molded and disgusting, oranges apples and bread were all bad, the only edible option was the waffle machine and the lady who was working breakfast was quite rude every morning we were there.

Great management staff, they were helpful and provided an early check in. Property needs a rehab. Very dated rooms, lobby and breakfast area. Light directly outside the room shines through areas on drapes overnight. Broken TV in breakfast room, no hot food except a waffle maker, limited choices, only cereal. No air circulation and not enough tables for everyone to sit. Broken plug on hair blower. Palmetto bug in room, pest control? Beds were clean and comfortable. Quality of stay could be way better. A coat of paint doesn’t make it updated. Pool could not be used. Unheated.

Room wasnt what i reserved (got 2 dbls in room, not the king i requested). Was told on arrival a $100 deposit was required - NOT POSTED ANYWHERE! Room was okay but not totally clean , hair still in tub and dirty floor - stuff still on bathroom counter. NO microwave in room til i asked for one. Advertises a restaurant here and their isnt one. Does not serve breakfast. Not thrilled about this hotel & wont recommend it.

The room we had was old and the shower leaked the entire time. One of the bed side lamps didn’t work, and it turns out it was because there wasn’t an outlet for the lamp. The pool was closed 2 of the nights we were there, so we didn’t really have an opportunity to use it. The race shuttle going to that hotel is a plus, but doesn’t absolve the other issues. The free breakfast was essentially nothing. It was 1 waffle maker, some pastries, and coffee. They didn’t want anyone taking any of the food out of the lobby to rooms, so you were forced to eat at one of 2 tables in the breakfast room. This was a last minute booking due to our other room getting cancelled. This would not be a first pick.

The room was absolutely disgusting! The sheets were stained with blood and not a small dime size stain, mold in the bathroom, pretty much the entire room, the tub did not drain. The faucet felt like it was going to fall off the toilet did not flush. I was not in that room for more than 20 minutes. I was told I would receive a full refund for the room as well as my deposit of $100 and still have not received anything. They still have my set status as booked. I will be calling the health department and I don’t care if that room was a dollar it should be condemned. It is truly not habitable even for a couple of hours!
