There is only one slow elevator the guests have to share with the housekeeping staff. The pool did not look clean so we chose not to swim in it. Its not in a great area near highway with some sketchy C gas stores a truck stop and Waffle House nearby.

The location is convenient for dining, shopping and is close proximity to my relatives residence. My room was very spacious, clean and the view was nice. My only complaints are the rooms not having balconies and there is only one elevator. This caused long waits and over crowding within the elevator at times.

There's really nothing to criticize. I suppose the scrambled eggs could be kept warmer at breakfast. There was no salt & pepper. The grounds and grassy areas surrounding the hotel are really great for dogs, but there are no poop bag stands. The room's AC was limited to 68 deg, which was just barely cool enough. It's awfully quiet, so bring a white noise generator or something if that's your sort of thing.

We stopped at this hotel on our way to our trip home. The location right next to the highway was a plus. The front desk staff amazing. We were greeted by Nicolas, wonderful young men.. he gave us all the details for our stay and hours for breakfast. The rooms are extremely clean, nice scent, and great comfort. Parking is available and is spacious no matter what time you come in. Breakfast was superb, hot breakfast is another plus. Overall my rating is 10.

The place was clean and I waited it well on everything. The dining room was nice and clean and the food was hot and good. The front desk people were very friendly and that area was tidy and the place smelled good. I hesitate to mention, but I’m going to I happened to see 2 of the tiniest beetle looking things in the bathroom. I think it was an infant roach, but I’m not sure. I mentioned it a check out. Anyway, it’s Florida so that happens.. I would stay there again.

I’ve had some great experiences at Holiday Inn Express and expected the same based on other reviewer ratings. But it felt old, limp and tired. The room started to smell when the a/c was turned on. The bed linens did not smell or look fresh though the bed was made. The bath was similarly tired but more tidy than not. At $150/night incl tax, I expected a crisp, clean experience. Gotta go elsewhere for that.

Called the property day before my arrival and requested quiet room. Upon my arrival I was greeted with family reunion that was taking place in the parking lot of the hotel and eventually moved inside. Until 3am we had people running around the floor and slamming doors like crazy. Upon entry to our room on the second floor,we were greeted with ants all over the bathroom sink and floor. There was also lovely smell of a unique herbal substance…..LoL… lady at the front desk quickly switched us to another room.

Overall everything was fine, but there were a few minor areas in our room that needed some maintenance and touch up. The hotel was relatively quiet at night with the exception of people slamming their room doors. Hotel needs to put pads on door frames to cushion doors slamming.

All went great except that there’s must of been a baseball team staying on my floor. The door slamming and loudness running down the hallway was hard to sleep. I’ve never had problems in the past when I’ve stayed there.

I love the rooms. A/C, Heat is quiet. Beds comfortable & clean. Breakfast...I'm vegetarian, the only protein was scrambled eggs which is fine but nothing like cheese, or sauteed onions, peppers....anything to make the eggs a little more interresting would be nice. Coffee not great tasting. There is a kcup coffee machine in the rooms, if I go back, will bring my own k cups as the Kcups supplied are not great either. A lovely lady named Cindy on my way out asked me with a beautiful smile & meaningful eye contact how was my stay. Everyone was nice & took good care of me, the only draw back is some employees even avoid eye contact while helping. That's found in many places now but I call it a trend that has to go. It's a bad one. It makes a customer feel not valued or get a feeling of being bothersome. Maybe this could be talked about in staff meetings? Just a suggestion.

We arrived to the hotel late evening after a long journey with our kids. Very unfriendly, rude man at the reception desk apparently found on his desk our booking confirmation printed out but after reviewing it, he told us, that there was some issue with our booking and that we should call expedia to fix it. I asked him, what kind of issue, but he refused to answer, repeating only "you have a third party booking you must call expedia" and then he said, precisely: "you don\'t understand, what am I saying? You must call expedia." Definitely not an attitude or form you would expect from chain hotel priding itself on friendliness and hospitality! Most probably the guy was hoping, that we will not be able to contact expedia that late (it was after 11 PM). But we did. Finally it turned out that our room was given to another guest despite our guaranteed booking and probably therefore the receptionist was not very happy to see us arriving. He was very rude also to expedia manager helping in our case (manager could not reach the hotel and he used our phone (on loudspeaker) to discuss with the receptionist, so we could hear the conversation. The receptionist was not able to answer, why our room was not available despite our guaranteed reservation. Finally hotels.com/expedia found us another hotel 30 minutes drive away, which we reached at 1 AM in the morning. To me Holiday Inn will now have a face of the rude receptionist muttering "you don\'t understand what I am saying?"

The woman who checked us in on Christmas Day didn't say Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, only "are you checking in?" I thought this was really rude and she didn't even smile! Her customer service skills need updating! I worked in customer service all my working life and never treated anyone with such pathetic customer service. I won't be staying there again!

Everything was clean and the atmosphere was quiet. The only thing that was noticeable was early that morning when we called for a couple more towel they didn’t have enough staff to bring them you had to go get them from the front desk.
