The setting was beautiful. The little beach was perfect for lounging or taking a dip. The pool was a good size. The bar was nice and convenient although only open till 8 if someone is looking for something later. Breakfast was surprisingly very good with a variety of food. The staff was all very nice and helpful. The only downside we saw was there wasn't enough chairs at the beach and pool.

Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Microwave and mini fridge in room were great! Complimentary breakfast and free parking was a plus! The pool area and beach area were beautiful. We wish we could have stayed longer. *only complaint was the shower door, it’s a glass that doesn’t cover all the way and it makes so much mess outside the shower.

I had last been to this hotel a few years ago and feel it has gone down a bit. I found the carpets to be wet. There was a mold smell in the room which I attributed to the wet carpets which never dried out. I also was disappointed to find only a few chairs at the pool and beach area and quite a few were broken.

The waterfront was nice. The area has a lot of potential to be even better though. There were minimal chairs by the beach and even less by the pool. There were not any towels either. One of the chairs we were able to get was broken. The room itself was fine though very noisy and had a broken floor tile that you could catch your foot on the edge with.

Property was fine overall. Rooms were clean and spacious, however they smelled musty and could use an update (dated). Breakfast was delicious and staff was friendly. The beach was small but cute. Manatees would swim by each day..very exciting. Cons were that you have to pay for the kayak rental..super expensive. No where on their website or expedia does it mention this. Additionally, there were very few beach chairs and no umbrellas. It was scalding hot, and no one could use the beach for very long as it was too hot. Installing chairs and umbrellas would be such a small expense for a huge hotel chain and the raitings would improve. Pool was nice, but again no chairs, and one small table. Its a non smoking property but the people below us smoked the entire time and stunk us out. We did alert the desk and they asked them to stop, but they didnt. This was probably our biggest turnoff, as we couldnt enjoy the patio. Would we stay again? Possibly for one night or two on our way down the keys, but thats about it. Some updates, put in more chairs/umbrellas, offer free/inexpensive kayak rental, and enforce the non smoking policy..and you have a gem.

BEWARE: Beg bug infestation in our room leading to terrible rashes requiring treatment.The check-in/check-out process was smooth. However, within 1 night of staying at this property, we developed beg bug rashes. Unfortunately as our stay was very short (2 nights) we were not able to identify the issue and change rooms in time. Beware of the cleanliness of this property and do a thorough inspection if you choose to stay here.

This hotel has a peaceful bungalow feel to it! Winding sidewalks of lush landscaping, outdoor pool, outdoor Tiki bar, and its own private beach area that offers the best sunsets. The staff is amazing. The full breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and spotless.

Room had roaches that were dead. killed two in bathroom. a woman pad on floor. Front desk just apologized. They could care less. tried to get room changed that was impossible. Nothing was available so I really had no choice but to stay there I cleaned the room with my Clorox wipes and Lysol spray. I got brand new towels from laundry room sheets, blanket from laundry, room, myself and clean the room. I’ve always stayed at the Hampton Inn. this was the very first time, I stayed here. It was filthy. I’ve always stayed at the Hampton Inn and now with this horrible experience I don’t know what to say about Hampton Inn. This was supposed to be a mother daughter vacation that we plan together and we go to the hampton Inn, which is very disappointing for money I spent on the room and I was facing the parking lot, not a Bayview as it said, what I spent on the room was not worth it $271, for a filthy room not again . this is supposed be an enjoyable vacation for us don’t get me wrong. We had a nice time outside of the room, but find those things in the room and the room be dirty. It’s not right. I would not recommend Hampton Inn Key Largo to anybody again.

We loved the closeness to the water and watching the sunsets. However the property is a bit outdated. The room had a musty smell. When we got to our room we had no hand soap. You couldn’t call the front desk or any other number as the line was always busy. So I walked all the way back to get hand soap. And they only give you 5 Kleenex. I ran out & asked for more & they refilled it with 5 more tissues. After complaining they gave me a box. I did like the ceiling fan & the a/c worked well. Our room was overlooking the pool & had a nice view.

The beach was lovely. Very quiet and no fighting for chairs. The low key Tiki Bar was also nice and the drinks were reasonably priced. Breakfast was included in our stay and was basic but good. The hotel itself is quite dated. Carpets are not very clean, I wouldn't walk in bare feet in our room, and the bathroom is old and tired.

Have high expectations from Hampton Inns. This facility was old, not refurbished for a long time. so room was smelled damp and moldy, causing me very bad allergies. Bathroom had not been cleaned properly... had to get it done after checking in.

The room was musty smelling, it looked as if it needed an update, when we showered water came out to outside of room. We basically had to use all the towels to clean up the mess. When checking in I asked young lady if we could get a room with a view and she flat out stated, that’s not what you paid for. I believe this will be the last time I’ll be staying at a Hampton Inn.

The front desk staff was great. The property was a bit dated. The roof was being worked on and so there was some noise No safe in the room. The balcony was dirty but the view was beautiful. The private beach area and pool area was a good size. The beach was great. The breakfast was decent (eggs 2 ways, waffles, pasteries etc...). The stay was a bit pricey given rooms were dates, renovations noises etc)

Tv remote didn’t work but they replaced it quickly. Internet signal never reached our room. Had to go to lobby. Breakfast was included and very good. Also parking included while most places charge $40 but don’t mention it up front. When they say parking available, you can assume $40.

AC kicks on and off with a frigid blast of polar arctic air which when hot is absolutely lovely. However with out the air from the AC the air is stagnant and musty. Noise from parking lot easily heard in the room. I would recommend taking carpets out to reduce musty odors

Thin horrible pillows. We were on the top floor and it started to rain. It was SO loud! It sounded like the roof was made of tin. Almost $500 for one night was outrageous for the dated room.

Rooms nicely decorated. “Beach” is small but gives the view from the chair which is relaxing maybe after another activity off premises. Water was clean, beach chairs were sufficient when we stayed but only 13 chairs so doesn’t take much to be full. Giving it 2 stars because on second night they had an electrical problem that impacted all of our building knocking down power to multiple rooms 6/7 times through the night losing AC and getting noisy as repair technicians knocked on rooms to figure out what was happening. Requested a change of room to an area unaffected by the issue and front desk refused even-though they acknowledged they were not completely full . With pressure from Expedia they agreed to refund me for that night and we moved to a different hotel the next morning as we did not wanted to find out if the repairs actually worked. I think they need to invest in better training on their front desk staff not very courteous across the board. Not empathetic at all with the situation affecting multiple guests. Location was very convenient for us as we had planned several activities in Pennekamp park 1/2 mile away

We can't say enough about this property! The front desk staff was beyond accommodating! Olivia and all the girls were absolutely fabulous Staff throughout the hotel were all very friendly! We would highly recommend this hotel. Nicole the Tiki bartender was very pleasant and gave us great suggestions for restaurants which we really enjoyed!

The outdoor area in the back and the tiki bar and bartender were great. The front desk check in person was all business and not welcoming. The cleaning staff was rude and tried to get us to leave before check out time. The room was outdated and switches were broken. Needs a major facelift especially for the price we paid. Disappointed.

The room was beautifully renovated, and the staff couldn't have more pleasant. We especially loved the pool and nearby Tiki Bar with a great selection and convenient service. There are also a beach and a seawall for viewing wildlife, like the group of manatees playing literally feet away. The real surprise was dinosaur (iguana) feeding early afternoon with more than twenty in attendance including Tigger, the huge yellow showstopper. everyone we met was floored by these last accoutrements that you just don't see anywhere else.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. Lots of parking, drivable to many shops and restaurants. The pool was very nice and the area by the beach to sit and drink a coffee in the morning. Breakfast was an added bonus we appreciated. Welcome gift for Hilton members

The room was musty smelling, it looked as if it needed an update, when we showered water came out to outside of room. We basically had to use all the towels to clean up the mess. When checking in I asked young lady if we could get a room with a view and she flat out stated, that’s not what you paid for. I believe this will be the last time I’ll be staying at a Hampton Inn.

Incredible customer service, they texted me every day to see if there was anything they could do or anything I needed. Very friendly front desk staff and helpful! One of the best Hamptons I’ve ever stayed at for sure! And I’ve been to a lot of them!

Quiet peaceful and location was excellent. The beauty that surrounds this hotel is amazing. Birds, manatee, crocs, iguanas too. Lovely shaded sand area near lagoon for super relaxation. Staff was super nice and took great care to maintain the property and its beauty.

Comfortable accommodations and super friendly staff. Shout out to Olivya! It’s walking distance to a number of great restaurants, including the Fish House which was unbelievable. Tiki bar and small but nice beach area for lounging, with a pool a few steps away.

This hotel has a peaceful bungalow feel to it! Winding sidewalks of lush landscaping, outdoor pool, outdoor Tiki bar, and its own private beach area that offers the best sunsets. The staff is amazing. The full breakfast is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and spotless.

Great Value for Key Largo. Pros: Property has a great little beach, an inground pool and a tiki bar for drinks in the afternoon. Service is outstanding and everyone is very friendly. We’ll stocked free breakfast each day. Good housekeeping whenever requested. Downside: no restaurant on site, rooms are a bit dated and property is getting a little tired looking. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. We had a bay view room that had a patio and was just steps from the beach, the tiki bar and the pool! Compared to hotels that were twice the cost, this Hampton Inn is an outstanding value.

The setting was beautiful. The little beach was perfect for lounging or taking a dip. The pool was a good size. The bar was nice and convenient although only open till 8 if someone is looking for something later. Breakfast was surprisingly very good with a variety of food. The staff was all very nice and helpful. The only downside we saw was there wasn't enough chairs at the beach and pool.

The hotel was not well kept and had dirty floors, elevator, and no covering on the heat light bulb in the shower of all places. The security door was hot wired and showed bare wires. We left at 5am and were unable to checkout as no one answered the locked lobby door. The room key did not work to open despite the sign directing that it be used after hours; we made after several attempts. Also, the intercom to call staff did not work as we tried 3-4x with no answer and no staff in sight.

This hotel was very convenient for our excursion and had such a relaxed resort vibe outside. The tiki bar, pool and lounge chairs by the water were lovely and many guests sat there watching the sunset. The hotel was also great about providing a rollaway bed in our room.
