Said there was a pool but it was closed. Loud music from cars two nights in a row. Guy yelling at woman in the middle of the night. Wallpaper falling off in pieces. Window rattled till I stuffed a tissue in it. Too many other issues to list. It was one of the least expensive at the time though. The staff was very polite. The property needs a major overhaul in about every area.

The actual room itself was clean and decent but the atmosphere is toxic. Had a guy offer us coke, had prostitutes going in and out of certain rooms and drug activity all around the area. People playing loud music late at night, and there is no coffee in the lobby or rooms for the morning time. They don't offer anything but a room and ice machine.

I'm sure this is a property where people live in transition, I had extension cords running from my room under a locked door to the room next to me. The furniture is very old and dirty. The room smelled musty and there was no security lock on the inside of the door. Was told the pool was not in use due to an investigation of some sort. Paint was chipping off the walls and the toilet ran all night

Absolutely the worst condition of any motel room I've been in. Within 5 minutes of being in the room, I saw about 7-10 roaches or similar types of bugs. There were stains everywhere, from the bedding to the walls to the furniture--EVERYWHERE. I immediately checked out. Location seemed a little sketchy too.

Immediately when I walked in I noticed the building was old. Everything was run down. I was told by the check in clerk that my room had been upgraded to a larger room with a couch and a desk. The couch was a white leather couch from another era. The desk was in a little nook as you went into the bathroom and way too low for me to use. The carpet was old and was bunched up in several places making it easy to trip. The walls were “repaired” with spackling and just left as is. The worst shocker was the bathroom. There were holes in the walls in two places where plumbing repairs had been made and the holes left open. My room was on the bottom floor and on a breeze way. All night long people walked past my room. There was never a moment of peace. My “neighbors” above me smoked marijuana and only went to bed after I got up for the morning at 5:00 am. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

The gentleman who checked me in had exemplary customer service skills when he first greeted me and completed the paperwork. I have experienced less sincere service from motels which were significantly more expensive, more modern, and better maintained. The staff member at reception was as pleasant and considerate at check out as when I first arrived. He, specifically, and the unseen housekeeping staff, provided quality service. My room, which i do not think is an exception, could benefit from significant deep cleaning and renovation. The cost of rooms would most likely be considerably higher as a result. Thank you, again, to the gentleman in reception. I wish I could be as nice to others as you were to me. EC

Hotel was clean, staff was very nice and helpful, and it was very conveniently located to the airport and the Mall of America. Only had one little issue with the room hair dryer and the staff rectified it immediately. Breakfast is a very light one…waffles, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bagels/toast, fruit, and honey buns…but was perfect for our liking. Would highly recommend this place.

This place gets five stars from me the staff is so friendly and curteous. Rooms are clean and spacious. Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. And they are the cheapest in town you can't beat that. I will most definitely be staying here next time I'm in town.
