Very pleasant two day stay. We liked the “no pets”. Very good breakfast. Plenty of parking. Comfortable room. Pay attention driving into and out of the parking lot adjacent to Florida Avenue.

We travel about three times a year to Florida we have stayed in a lot of locations this is one of the hotels that was sound proof very clean the breakfast was excellent and the people were very friendly The only thing I did not like about it is that the pool was supposed to be heated and it wasn't it was very cold

I enjoyed my stay at this property. Be advised, it is behind other businesses and easy to miss. The staff was nice. The breakfast was okay. It’s in a great location for convenient dining options. Walmart is literally across the street. There is plenty of parking around the property. The gym facilities has all that you need and was clean with all machines properly working.

Is very very clean The staff is very polite friendly easy access to stores around you Walmart is literally right next door walking distance to a lot of stores pool is clean there is nothing to dislike about this place great breakfast I would recommend this place to anyone

Room was clean plenty of parking. The snacks were perfect. Staff is friendly. I was not aware of the hundred dollar holding on my debit card for the room and check in but besides that it was fine looking forward to breakfast tomorrow and check out.

One of the cleanest hotels (certainly the cleanest Holiday Inn) I've stayed in in my life! The breakfast was plentiful and well-made. The lobby, elevator and hallwys were kept spic and span. Staff was super helpful. The laundry room was clean. Maybe because it is a newer property and still has the shine, but totally worth it. The only negative would be the lack of views and mediocre surrounding areas.

What a surprise! Hotel is very clean, and staff were welcoming and pleasant. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The ceilings in our room have got to be at least 12ft. tall. I can’t speak to the area as we checked in late. We are visiting Florida Southern College, which is only 7 minutes down the road.

The breakfast staff were wonderful. Gave a a wonderful start to our days there. The female desk clerks were very kind and helpful. The first night we had a room with an adjoining door. It was so thin, we could hear every syllable our neighbors spoke. The next morning the lady clerk was very helpful and put a block on the room next to us. Had a wonderful restful night on incredibly comfortable bed. But the third night we had a neighbor again. Anyway…we have now learned to ask for a room that hasn’t an adjoining door. Everything was marvelous except that issue.

Don’t hesitate to book a room at this Express Holiday Inn. Our stay was just overnight, quick in and out the next morning. The two queen mattresses in our room were amazing. Best night sleep in any hotel ever. The sheets were also lovely, soft and comfortable. The room was clean, fresh, quite, and had a microwave, pod coffee brewer with pods, and a small fridge. TV was approximately 42”-45” and a lovely bathroom. Beautiful shower and a lite magnifying mirror (our bulb was not working in the mag mirror). Which was a bummer, the light in the bathroom was not real bright. The water pressure in the sink and shower were weak, but useable. I would stay again, the breakfast room was a bit average, the coffee also. Can’t say enough about the fabulous mattresses!!

I stayed at this property for a three night business trip. On the afternoon of the third day my associate and I went to the hotel lobby to finish up some paperwork. After sitting in the lobby area for 10 minutes an absolutely rude woman came over to confront us as to what we were doing. “Are you staying here, and why are you in the lobby?” She then proceeded to question what my name was and room number I was In because she didn’t recognize me. After giving her my information to make sure I was allowed to be in her lobby she informed me that it’s her job to give everyone a hard time. To which I responded “ you do a great job” I travel for work and stay in hotels 15 to 20 days a month and have never had anything like this happen before. And I can promise you it won’t happen here again. They are many other locations in Lakeland that will be more than happy to take my money.

We had plans for Orlando and Tampa. This was a perfect location in between both. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very nice and attentive. I would highly recommend this location.

The hotel was very clean, smelled nice and just pleasant to be in. The room was perfect, and bonus points for having a TV I can plug my PC/Game console into. The breakfast menu was good and delicious. My ONLY gripe was the water. You could taste the awful sewagy tap water in the juice. I'm sure the coffee was made with the same awful water, which made me cringe as I drank it, but I still did. Please use water filters. They're not that expensive, but greatly improve people's safety and the taste.

Everything about the property was great. Beds were super comfy, staff friendly and they served a nice breakfast. No complaints here. I recommend it if you have to be in the area. It's close to lots of dining options as well.
