Quality Inn Miami Airport - Doral

The place is in some serious need of updates. The wifi only worked in the lobby, not in the rooms. And the free shuttle from the airport that is advertised, won't come after 8, so if you have an evening flights, you will have to pay for your own way there. They do not tell you this before you book, only after you've paid!!!

Found a roach by the coffee machine during their breakfast hours in the lobby. Ice machine on the 1st floor was out of service. Pool was dirty. Breakfast yogurts, milk and juice we're warm. Staff is polite. Rooms are old.

Need to keep up the Cleaning and open the pool.

the rooms are extremely dirty and dusty. Beneath the A/C filled with dust. Cockroaches bathroom has mold. Towels had hair. The flooring is rough! Room is musty. The only good thing was the pool. It was excellent. The place needs an over haul!

The overall property was good. Pool was working which was great for the kids. The entrance needs to have a clean welcome fresh air smell and lobby needs refurbishing; couches are very dirty not inviting to sit in. Luckily there are other chairs sround. Wifi signal very very poor especially in the rooms.

Front agent look like he is annoyed by any question. First room was dirty and used. Told FD agent and no apologies or anything. Second room was better. Pool very dirty. Said under maintenance. Elevator inspection expired since 2023 and acting up. Breakfast says 6-9 on website. But hotel says 7-9.

Do not book here. Staff is nonchalant. Carpet is filthy, room was dirty, sheets stained, hair on sheets, pillow, bathroom door, tub and floor had used bandaid. Hallway carpets are disgusting and looked like it hasn’t been swept in weeks.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was filthy! Trash on headboard and under mattress. Flipped back sheet and found dead bugs on bed. (Not bed bugs). Stains on sheets. Hair and “stuff” on blanket. I do not believe sheets were changed after last stay. Floor had not been swept, trash and dirt all over the floor and under the bed._we left and are awaiting refund from Expedia.

There was no hot water, the towels and bedsheets dirty. I complained and they said they would change my room never happened. Terrible for the price paid

I had a terrible stay at this hotel. The room was extremely dirty, and they did not clean it at all. I spent two days asking for a proper cleaning, and all they did was take out the trash. There was a dead cockroach in the room, and it stayed there the entire time. The hotel is completely neglected — truly disgusting. The staff is unprepared and rude. I do not recommend staying at this place under any circumstances; it should be shut down for providing such an unsanitary environment.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and will not rent from this establishment ever again. The pictures on Expedia were not an example of the reality of the condition of the room.

This property needs to be renovated immediately. It made my skin crawl just being inside. The Air Conditioner was visibly dirty and affected my sinuses, the towels had stains on them, the bath tub was somehow bloated, there was someone's hair in some areas of bathroom. I spent one night, checked in around 8pm, checked out before 11am the following day and they charged me for 2 nights. Robbery but I would not spend another night there. I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. Just go somewhere nice and proper instead.

The room was filthy. There were dirt on the floor, dead insect behind the AC, fixtures were rusty, the shower was rusty and the latch on the door was not secure with screws missing.

This is right under the flight path to the airport. Very noisy. Ac was busted and dirty and didn't work well. Outside looked to be in disrepair.

The property is poorly maintained. My room was filled with old, dilapidated furniture. The towels provided in the bathroom were old with holes. No wash towels provided, explained that the Hotel was at capacity and was offered a face towel. The rooms are in serious need of upgrades. the bed was very uncomfortable. All of the deficiencies explained were shared with several of the front desk staff, but all they did was apologize for the inconvenience. The worst Hotel experience to date.

we had two choices; a room with condensation on the floor (slip and fall risk) or a temperature of 60 degrees. The TV had only four channels and the remote didnt work hardly unless I stood right in front of the TV.

It wasn’t what I was hoping for — the smell of moisture was strong and the place felt worn and old.

The staff was nice and the room was clean but the condition of the room was poor. There was a sign in the room stating that we could not change the temperature of the room (it was set at 65!) They did give us permission to go up to 70. There were very few TV channels, the phone didn't work to call the front desk and our cell phones could not reach anyone either. (several trips to the front desk) There were only 2 pillows on the bed and no extras available when we requested. The breakfast did include freshly scrambled eggs, waffles, and yogurt. We have decide to take Quality Inn's off of our hotel possibilities. We did not realize that the quality had decreased so much over the years.

The road to the front of the hotel was complicated and not clear. The front door of our room was hard to open. Bathroom faucet didn't work properly. There was water on the floor next to our bed when we got up in the morning! Police came banging on the door of the room next door in the middle of the night!

AC must to stay at 63F so it keeps the floors dry. Otherwise they get soaked. Nasty level of humidity inside. Exhaust Fans don’t work. Bathroom accessories falling. Light bulbs off. Freezer not working. Mold on ceiling. Very disappointed.

The lady who worked the night I arrived was very helpful. I needed assistance like over 7 times and she politely helped and reassured me everything. She deserves 10 stars

Terrible experience with the service at this facility everyone was so rude. They have no idea on how to treat people even when they try to be polite they are not.

Property was busy, front desk person was calm and collected. He did an amazing job. He did his job, made sure everyone got their room and continued to the next person.

Front desk staff was extremely rude, rolling her eyes, and talking on the phone for a very long time before even acknowledging me to help me. I could understand it if I was rude, too, but I was very kind. They barely speak English as well. Housekeeping woke us up several times in a row after we asked to be left alone each time.

The room was fine the breakfast was ok the distance to the airport was great. It’s just really rude staff at the desk.

Driver wouldn't answer his phone for pick up from airport. We landed and 1.5 hour later driver answered phone to pick us up. Finally, when we did enter the shuttle he put his phone down. Knowing i called him 15 times non stop until he answered. That started our visit to the inn... not to mention we waited 4.5 hours b4 entering our room. So our attitude was unforgiving. The room has a stench from the air conditioner, but the beds were comfy and the room was minimalistic. Average score.

This hotel is very disappointed, it all started with the airport pick up, we were left stranded when the bus just drove right pass us after wait for 11/2 hrs upon calling the hotel we were told next pick up was an hour away and would not be given nothing for a taxi, no manager on site to help, check in was a breeze, got to the room all sheets was wet and roaches everywhere, I just wanted to cry. This was not free. I will not return to this hotel it is also half an hour from the airport when the web site states 15 mins away all lies. What a disgrace to my MIA stay.

The staff was rude and nonchalant. I felt like the male check in agent only was friendly to the Hispanic guests as only they were greeted with a smile for every time. I had sent a few packages to the hotel and called ahead of time to ensure that wouldn't be an issue. I was alerted by the shipping company that the packages were delivered....only to arrive and they straight up told me my packages were not there. They didn't try to assist me in no way, even after showing them several messages from the shipping companies stating the packages were delivered and who signed for them. The male agent appeared to get irritated when he kept seeing me on the line....but I just wanted my packages. Well, after being rude, nonchalant and dismissive guess what....they had the packages all along!!!! Only after I got confirmation from one of the companies of one of the agents first name and there was no room for denial, then she finally remembered to check the managers office :| That entire experience made me feel as though they were trying to steal my packages!!! 0/10 I do not recommend! The room was dirty, rusty, moldy and smelly AND the staff was horrible!!!!

Subject: Avoid this one! I have stayed in many cheap motels. I was expecting the moldy shower. I paid extra for this motel because of the shuttle from the airport and the breakfast. Both were an issue. After booking the motel I found out the shuttle only operates during certain hours. The only flight available for me was a late flight and the shuttle service wasn't available. It runs once an hour during normal business times. I took an Uber to the motel and check-in went smoothly. I was happy there were no signs of bed bugs. The water pressure was very high. I'm okay with it, but that means the pressure reducer valve needs to be replaced. This lack maintenance probably costs the motel a lot of money because of wasted water. All of these are just minor. The real problem was breakfast. The coffee was so bad it was undrinkable. The eggs were served in a double bin with one Sterno in the middle part where there were no eggs above. Even the scrambled eggs tasted weird. There was no fresh fruit. The yogurt was in a fridge, but the fridge didn't work so it was warm inside. There were two waffle makers. The first one's timer didn't work. I didn't realize this until I already had some mix in so I used the second one also for the timer. It was 2 minutes and 30 seconds. I got out both waffles and they were crispy on the outside but wet dough in the middle. After a few bites I tossed them because wet mix can make you sick. I made another and let it stay a little longer and it still was

When I arrived to check in, the hotel had canceled my stay because their policy is to debit my card for the first night. However, since they couldn't find any funds, they proceeded. This had never happened to me before, and it wasn't until I arrived that I was charged the full amount. I told them this, and they responded that you should have informed me. I had to rebook and paid $25 more than the initial amount. I had to ask for more soap and towels. That's why my stay at the Quality Inn wasn't as comfortable. The check-in staff was very rude, and there was little customer support.

Our room was in air traffic flight. No airport for about 2 hours No restaurant and nearby food was blocks away.. pizza delivery was available. Airport driver nice Great transportation to cruise port.

It was ok, being in the landing flight path by the airport, it was noisy.

They offer shuttle service but only st specific times, and it is shared with Wyndham Hotel. The text I received said the pick up point was at Zone 15. I'd never been to MIA, so I ask at the info desk, and others where is Zone 15. No one knows. I tried calling ...no joy there. So I ask the next obvious question where is the hotel shuttle pick up area....and waited there for an hour+. It eas not Zone 15 but Exit door 15 on the second level. The facility is run down....and in need of some serious cleaning and maintenance work. The room was functional and everything worked but really not up to Quality Inn standards.

A little too noisy; if you are planning a vacation, I don't recommend it. As a nice hotel, if you are alone and need a quick overnight stay, I would say it's fine.

It is my 3rd time in this hotel. Good location in Miami area.

The breakfast options were of poor quality and extremely limited.

Pics on the website for expedia are horrible...place is old and like a super 8 motel...not like other Quality in ns ive been too....very old and run down...rooms are old and dirty with beat up things and rough....bed was clean so not all bad..will mot be back here and we travel out of miami alot...bteeakfast was limited to 2 hours and no meat product or fruit or muffins...very sad place....do not stay here

Lodging cost was good compared to surrounding hotels. The bed was very comfortable. Maybe consider a transportation contingency during the 12 to 2 pm break. The breakfast should at least include a meat product (bacon, sausage, etc.), but overall it's the old adage "you get what you pay for".

Our flight from NY was delayed, no shuttle after 8 pm, we had to rent a car as we didn't have a US phone to call a Uber. Front desk agent not in a good mood. They don't have drinking water to offer as in all other hotels, you have to buy it. To much noise from other guests at the middle of the night. Poor breakfast.

The place wss dirty, the room was in bad condition with water damage and rust. Included breakfast was an absolute joke. The wotst coffee i had in my life. Seems like the coffee was simply re-heated . It was so strong that i hsd to add at least 1/3 water to make it drinkable. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
