This is an OUTDOOR HOTEL WITH THE ELEVATOR IN A DIFFERENT BUILDING. I didn't know this when i booked it. The room itself was fine but it is all outdoors!! I would not have booked it had I known, I didn't find it in any other reviews.

They offer 24 hours shuttle to the airport, that is not true, they close the shuttle service at 9 pm. One of the main reasons for making my reservation was for the shuttle but still had to pay out of pocket for a taxi.

The website says free shuttle to airport from 6am-10pm. However only runs once an hour and the last shuttle from airport to hotel is 9pm. Can ride was $51 for about 5 miles.

The shuttle service from the Miami airport was abysmal. The shuttle never came the evening that I arrived at the airport. I ended up taking a cab. The one time that I did see the shuttle from the hotel, the driver was in the far left lane and never slowed to check for travelers waiting for that shuttle.

Good value & decent centrally located 2 star motel, the guest arent going to be the best due to the value and the area, we were there about a week and the pool was CLOSED the whole time and probably will be for much longer afer talking to staff..

The property was near a very busy road on the backside of the airport. Motorcycle noise was awful. Also, their shuttle service quit at 9:00 pm. It cost us $40 to get from the airport late at night.

Stayed there for a night before our cruise. *pool was closed *elevator was out of service * you had to push hard to open the door, a hinge was loose. * coffee maker was out of service in the morning! Service was good and get what you pay for but probably won’t stay there again.

The location is not ideal : you have to wait about 5-10 min to take a turn to either get in or out of the hotel, by car, especially when there is a lot of traffic. The hotel room was supposedly clean, but we found a piece of a fish (or a chicken) in the sink, that was disgusting. The shower faucet was broken, which led to a leak of a drop of water that would fall every second, for the whole night, which is kind of annoying, and not so good for the environment. The app said we could access the pool, what is not said is that the pool was not usable for more than an entire year. The breakfast was a JOKE, only a few tables, people had to wait standing up for about 10-15 min with their plates in their hands, while others were having a ridiculous breakfast on the 10/13 available tables for the whole hotel (And it was not even high season). Great disappointment overall, would not recommend.

I checked in my room and everything look to be good.checked in ,took a nap. when I woke up, I had a few maybe 5 bite marks on my legs.I really didn’t think to much of it. Left the room went to go get something to eat and came back. Ate a little of my food and fell back to sleep. I woke up around 11 PM. All of the lights in the hotel room was off. When I turned on the lights, it was roaches everywhere on my food. Everything in the bathroom was covered and roaches. My toothbrush & toothpaste.i have videos of all of it.I had fixed some tea that was sitting on the side of the nightstand bugs were all over the side of the tea. When I took a closer look by the bed, it was bed bugs. I immediately went to the front. They did give me a new room and which was much better. This new room is actually excellent.no bugs,I saw…did the light check cause roaches come out after you cut out the light and cut the light back on…lol.but the front desk people were actually so sweet and so nice, I wasn’t happy with the first room, but it turned out OK with the second room so far. The breakfast was good here great location. And I really like the staff they were really nice.

Room was outdated, ceiling was pealing off, ceiling of the bathroom had mole, the shower kept leaking water even if you close it really good. The coffee maker was on top of the bathroom sink, room didnt have no small fridge like other hotels does. Bed was uncomfortable with only 3 small pillows. The AC unit made loud noise all day and night, seems walls was thin, because you hear everything in the next room, conversating. The worst experience ive ever had in a hotel stay, i will never stay in this hotel ever again.

There was an issue with staff and the room. Waited for over an hour at the airport for the shuttle and the driver drove right past me. Had to uber to the hotel. Once there had to wait for my room for hours. Staff was very nasty and dismissive. Once in the room it smelled like mildew and there was hair in the bathroom that did not belong to me and the floor was very dirty.

Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean but dated. The location was convenient because it was located between 2 major highways. Breakfast was very limited, but it was enough. You get what you pay for. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price.

Property could use some updating in basic areas, room smelled like mildew and mold. Shower head was leaking really bad and made it extremely hard to take a shower. Tv showed that you could log into your Netflix account but wasn’t connected to the internet. Staff was friendly and the shampoo/body wash options they did provide were nice.

The room looked clean and new, but the king-size bed was a wreck. Most of the springs felt busted. I sank right in when I laid down. Plus, there wasn't even a fridge or microwave. The breakfast was a letdown too. The toasters were broken, and there wasn't any hot food! No eggs, except cold boil eggs! I've stayed at cheaper places around here with much better breakfasts. I can't recommend this place, and I won't be back.

I was disappointed upon arrival as there was no mini fridge or microwave in the room as advertised on the site. The hotel blamed Expedia for misleading ads and just wanting to sell packages. Another issue I encountered is that I was told I could not take my breakfast to the room for my family who would be asleep during breakfast hours (6-9am). So I paid for 5 days stay including breakfast and had to purchase breakfast elsewhere for 4 days. Another issue I encountered from the start is the tv did not work and I was back and forth to the front desk to have this issue sorted. When the tv did work it would cut off frequently and the front desk said signal issues.

The hotel is decent for a short stay near the airport. The building is a bit old and could use some refreshing. We specifically chose this place because it advertised a pool, but unfortunately the pool has been closed for some time, which was disappointing. Breakfast is very basic, in a typical American motel style. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, housekeeping came every day, and the towels were fresh and nicely scented. Oddly, most of the power outlets in our room did not work. Overall, I would recommend it as a convenient option right next to the airport, suitable for a short stay before a flight.

Next door neighbors were SO LOUD until after 1am. I called the front desk multiple times, plus stepped out of my room to politely tell them we were trying to sleep and they were being loud. Nothing was done. We got zero sleep. Was there for a surgery the next morning. I would not stay here again because the employees did nothing to support our concerns.

I stayed in room 146 and it smelled like mildew. The bathroom ceiling and shower had black mold spots that were poorly painted over. The whole room felt damp. Staff communication was terrible — I was told the shuttle ran every 15 minutes, then later told it didn’t start until 7 a.m., almost making me miss my flight. My key stopped working, and staff were rude when I asked for help. They called a friend’s “taxi” that overcharged me $53. No water, no courtesy, and no professionalism. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Let me be clear, the property needs some TLC. It is in a very convenient location, close to the airport and with plenty of parking, but that also means the neighbourhood is not the best and some characters showed up several times. Although I never felt unsafe, this is not a family friendly location. If you are planning to work while driving in Miami for a few days this will do, but not for leisure and not with children.

Location is about 12 miles from the airport but took an hour for the shuttle to come pick us up. Breakfast was not good. It would be better to go to Denny's next door. Really nothing in the area to do. It was a place to stay before getting on our cruise.

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions because it's very near the airport and not far away from the hospital I attend. Rooms are clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The only reason I took away 1 star is because the breakfast is just basic. Nothing to shout about. But there is a Denny's, Wendy's and McDonald's next door which is convenient enough to make up for that. Otherwise, I highly recommend.

Check in was good and staff all lovely. Room was as expected, clean and functional. Noise was a big problem. The nightclub next door closed at 5am with noise all night (Friday) and then lots of noise until everyone dispersed. Lots of noise with people coming and going during the night (I guess with the proximity to the airport this should be expected). Didn’t feel very safe in the surrounding area we were going to walk the 200m to the gas station shop for some water and snacks, half way there someone came out a shop and recommended we turn back due to the people hanging around.. was well located for the airport and a short drive to the Dolphin Mall. Would have been fine for our purpose except for the noise. Pool was closed. Can’t fault the staff all were very pleasant and helpful.

Lovely, clean, hotel to stay at before taking a cruise. Third party shuttle bus is available for a fee and many Uber/Lyft cars showed up within minutes of booking. Coffee maker in breakfast room wasn’t working and breakfast amenities were sub-par so we went next door to McDonalds. Hotel staff were courteous and the price was pretty good for the location.

Front desk staff was very nice and my room was good. Pool was closed and its area was dirty. Outside hotel areas needs to be pressure washed. Only has Basic Dish TV channels and you can not ChromeCast from your phone to the TV? Breakfast served a large bowl of boiled eggs, bagles or muffins, 3 cold cereals, and 4 juices... No good breakfast here! Unfortunately, this particular LaQuinta is kinda like a modified dive motel.

The hotel Shuttle needs to be more visible for quest to recognize at the airport. The hotel local phone # needs to be easily available for quests to contact the front desk. Many of the breakfast facilities were broken down and were not in use. The hot water and drinks dispensers were all out of order. Very poor.
