The description in hotels.com says there is a transport from the airport and free breakfast. We had the transfer confirmed by e-mail from the hotel before our stay. On the day of arrival, we waited 1 hour 30 min at the airport and had then to take a cab that cost us 15 USD. Phone calls to the hotel were answered by an answering machine. The receptionist told us that on this day the transfer bus did not operate. And unlike mentioned in the description of hotels.com, there is no breakfast at this hotel. Absolutely unacceptable!

We were in a 7-night stay in the red roof+ Miami airport, not wanna say it was terrible, but for the same price, I could get something better, but a wanted to give them the opportunity. Our keys didn’t work and had to go every time to the front desk when we were coming back to the hotel, the elevator didn’t work for 4 days. And the guy in the front desk wasn’t very nice, but the girls were, also housekeeping girls were very nice at us. In general, was a poor experience

Seems like a great place with helpful staff. Even though I contacted the hotel regarding the airport shuttle, no one bothered to tell me they share a bus with another company so this hotel's name is not on the bus! So we had an unnecessary wait before I had to phone the hotel to be told which bus to look for.

There were bedbugs in the hotel room, Both of our occupants have bedbug bites (30 bites) all over their bodies. I brought the issue to the front desk and was told to email them the picture of the actual bedbug in the hotel room before they will do anything, which I did. It's now being almost a week, with two emails sent, I still have not hear anything from them. Very bad experience.

It’s an airport hotel right under the flight path at the end of the runway. The rooms have double windows for the airplane sound but nothing between the rooms or to the hallway. The room was fine, no easy outlets for charging devices. This is an adequate place to stay on a layover. The shuttle doesn’t run frequently nor is it easy to get ahold of the front desk to request it.

Free shuttle has limited hours so I had to pay for an Uber because I had an early flight. Stains on the carpet and walls, very run down, smells musty. Bathroom caulking was coming away from the wall. It looked like a repair had been attempted but the entire bathroom surround looks terrible. Could hear the neighbors, and since it is close to the airport the planes were quite loud throughout the night, I had to wear ear plugs. Staff was dismissive.

Hotel was suffering quite a bit of disrepair. Probably the worst bed I've ever slept in at a hotel, my back is still recovering. Lot's of people smoking tobacco and weed aroud the pool deck. This is a full on airport hotel, directly across the road, so planes taking off every 60 seconds all day, i didn't really hear them much in the room overnight though. Breakfast had no eggs or meat but had fresh waffles, plenty of pastries, cereal, and some fruits. Staff was friendly and helpful. Airport transfer was prompt and easy.

Airport noise, almost no transportation, but they charge nearly 20$ per night for parking on the side of the road. Rooms smell humid. To avoid the smell, their AC is set to super low. Old and needs renovation. Never staying here again.

I stayed here one night before and another night after my cruise from Miami port. The service was good both nights, and the rooms were clean and spacious. There was a food cart that actually had good food, and I took a quick ride for a nearby pub the second night. Would note that they share the shuttle with other hotels so have to arrive in the lobby early. I took the first shuttle at 6am and there were only 3 seats available and not all made it on. Overall good stay for a 2-star hotel. :)

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Appreciate the early check-in so that my friend and her kids could hangout at the pool instead of the airport. Shuttle was running right on time every 30min. Older building, but clean and comfortable.

The hotel was pretty good. The staff was friendly and helpful. They did accommodate us because we had issues in the first room. They did move us to another room so I thought that was very nice of them and oh the food truck that’s on the property alongside the bakery that’s inside was very good

This is our third stay at this hotel, but this trip was not a good experience. Our room was located on the 3rd floor, which had a nasty carpet on the hallway, with a very strong smell mold throughout the entire floor and our room. Very powerful smell. Also, the hotel states they provide free breakfast, but this was discontinued after the month of March. They should have noted this on the website. The hotel wasn't cheap this year, and we would have gone elsewhere.
