Hot tub out of commission - not a comfortable environment around pool - restaurant food was good but over priced and the room wasn't very clean - no one answered any of the phones and no bedding provided for the pullouts. Had to go to the front desk multiple times to get service. Housekeeping tried to come in the next morning before we even checked out to clean - scared the kids.

The airport shuttle service is abysmal. I was told to go to three different pick up areas at MIA and it took 45 minutes to be picked up. Then the shuttle was 15 minutes late to pick up passengers at the hotel. All of this on a theoretical every 30 minute pick up and drop off. I’ll never stay there again.

Issues with this property. 1st the hot tub is out of order and we were not told about this at check in. 2nd issue not able to get any type of coffee here with the exception of regular coffee. The espresso machine was down. Asked if we could get a cafe con leche anywhere else in the hotel and told no. Realized that if we walked into the adjacent Mall we could get better coffee.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. What kind of hotel makes you pay for parking on their own lot on top of your nightly fees? Not to mention their website says $10 a night and we get there and they say it’s $20 per. Bathroom mirror light did not work as well as like 2 other lights in the room simply did not work. Stains on the bed and headboard. Hot tub was broken and pool was ice cold. Staff was unpleasant and not friendly. Would not come back and stay at this hotel if they paid ME money each night I stayed. I’ve stayed at motel 6’s nicer than this place.

We didn't have any hot water to shower at 5pm in the afternoon. Waited two hours for shuttle to pick us up from the airport. The thermostat reads 60 however it's extremely hot in our room. I am so disappointed!

Check in was slow, as was check out. Seemed understaffed. The hot tub was dirty and out of service so that was a bummer but there was a restaurant with a bar and the rooms were comfortable. Valet was a reasonable price.

COCKROACHES! Beware! This is the hotel from hell! First we waited 2.5 hours for the airport shuttle that NEVER came and we ended up having to book an uber. I called the front desk 3 times while we were waiting to make sure we were in the right spot and that it was coming and they confirmed we were but kept giving us the run around about when it would be there. After finally getting to the hotel 3 hours later, we walked in and I got the ick immediately. I was willing to look past it though. Front desk was nice enough, they didn’t do much about the shuttle. again, was willing to look past that also. Finally getting to the room, it was disgusting. Massive stains all over the floor, a dirt shoe print spread across the pillow, a musty smell. Again, fine, willing to look past it, it’s one night. After about being in the room for 30ish minutes… I come upon the final straw.. cockroaches in the room! I thought they were rust stains on the end tables but then moved closer and they started moving too!! Cockroaches hidden everywhere. I immediately left the room, went to the front desk and asked them to book me at another Hilton hotel, they said they could only give me another room here and for obvious reasons I declined. I told them we’d be leaving the hotel and the immediately deactivated our room keys, I wasn’t even able to get back into the room to grab my things. I immediately booked another hotel and left. Phone numbers and emails don’t work. They also double charged me.

Hotel room was dirty. There was food in our couch and visible dirt on the walls and ceilings. It needs an update bad. Cleaning crew was knocking on all the doors at 9am to clean the rooms. It is supposed to have a shuttle from the airport but drove by us without acknowledging us. It was a $30 Uber from the airport.

Bed sheets had a huge old blood stain on them, there were hangers thrown on the floor, the bathroom was moldy in the shower. I don’t think the room had been cleaned at all. The Lobby presentation is beautiful, the actual room floor is extremely outdated.

DIRTY PANTIES WERE HANGING ON THE BACK OF THE BATHROOM DOOR WHEN WE CHECKED IN 😅 I have stayed here once about 5 years ago, front desk met us with fresh cookies. When I arrived this time the young lady at the desk had a very dry personality, not welcoming, no cookies (yet the have cookie trivia) I asked if she had a map so I could see how to get to my room from the front desk and she was not trying to help. The elevator is over there! I would have put one star but I enjoyed myself in the past..

I’m a pretty easy to please person, this hotel is dated. I can deal with dated, as long as it’s clean. It was NOT. Our room had filthy carpet, tables and phone were sticky. The bed sheets and comforter were DISGUSTING, old blood stains and other stains of god knows what. We asked for sheets and a pillow for the pull out couch, they brought up warm sheets with FRANK RED BLOOD on them. I was disgusted. The health department needs to come inspect this place. I usually stay at Marriott hotels, I’ll stick to that.

My experience at the DoubleTree Miami was extremely disappointing. I wasn’t informed at check-in that parking would cost an additional $18 per night. I received food vouchers that were later denied by rude staff who didn’t ask for clarification but instead acted accusatory, as if I had gotten them dishonestly. The room was musty and unclean. The hot water took over 15 minutes to warm up, then became so scalding it was hard to shower. The “upgrade” to a balcony room was pointless just bare concrete with no chairs. There was no microwave or fridge in the room, and the only microwave available was on the first floor. After my stay, I called about a deposit issue. The first woman I spoke to was kind but couldn’t assist. I was told to call back for Nicholas, but when I did, I heard staff in the background laughing and mocking me before someone finally answered and gave no help at all. It was unprofessional and frustrating. Overall, this stay was terrible. The customer service was awful, the room was uncomfortable, and the staff lacked professionalism. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone don’t be fooled by the brand name. Believe the negative reviews and book elsewhere.

I stayed at this hotel over the weekend and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. While the room itself was clean, the overall appearance of the hotel is very outdated and in need of serious upgrades. The air conditioning was extremely poor — there were only two small vents high on the wall, both facing the sun-exposed side of the building. As a result, the room stayed uncomfortably warm throughout the day. The sliding door to the balcony was rusted and nearly impossible to open. The TV in the room didn’t work at all, and to make matters worse, the room phone was also nonfunctional, making it difficult to report the issue. Around midnight, we were disturbed by children loudly running up and down the hallway, which made it even harder to rest. It’s a shame, because the hotel is in an excellent location, but the outdated facilities and lack of maintenance really take away from the experience. I hope management considers investing in much-needed improvements, especially the AC system and basic amenities.

I received an email a few days before arrival stating that the airport shuttle pickup was on the arrivals level. Upon arriving we waited for 45 minutes in the arrivals pickup area. Then I called to check on the shuttle and was told I needed to be on the departures level. I brought this issue to the attention of the front desk staff when checking in. I was given many excuses as to why this happened including that it was my fault because I had booked using a third party. I finally said “ All I’m looking for is an apology.” Even after saying that all I got was a shrug of her shoulders. No apology.

We arrived at the hotel early after a cruise. We asked about early checkin and leaving our bags to walk to a laundry mat. The two ladies at the desk for the morning shift were terribly rude and not accomodating. Several people were waiting in the lobby with us. There was a long list of folks to checkin. Those women even told a few people maybe 4:30. The afternoon team came in and started releasing rooms at 3:30. Maybe the morning staff should have helped cleaned rooms as they were doing nothing else from 10am on.

Blanca was a wonderful employee to check in with at the front desk. Her manager for the front desk also was so caring and helped me with a fax that was urgent. They literally put the guest first and want your stay to be the best possible. Because it’s the Christmas season the hotel was beautifully decorated and even offered a cookie to my family on the airport shuttle (very nice driver) and at check in. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Horrible stay for a Hilton. For starters check in was a hassle, I arrived at 3:30 knowing check in was at 4 but I asked if could be checked in since it was only 30 minutes before. I was told not and understood because as mentioned before check in was set at 4. To my surprise they did not have any rooms available and clean which they did not have at 4 either. Check in was finally done around 4:50 pm after so many complications. When getting to our rooms one of the rooms could not be opened because the key to that one did not work. Went down stairs and was explained they were having system issues. Apparently it was widespread as there were several other people in the same situation. Ohh phones are not answered at any time, very rarely they pick up. The same issue we had with the keys to both rooms during the 3 nights stay so we made several trips to the front desk. What stroke me the most was something I never experienced before, the housekeepers entered the room while I was not there and grabbed the do not disturb door sign I specifically placed in the room desk and put it back on the door handle outside, they left without cleaning or swapping towels or refilling the 2 coffee pods they had at the room. The next day and the rest of the stay did not get any cleaning or refreshing in the room whatsoever. The other room I got was cleaned once during the stay that is all. Like I said, for a Hilton and my previous experiences with them, this location left me very disappointed.

This hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed at in a while. The complimentary shuttle arrived quickly, and the ride from the airport was very short. Check-in was quick and easy. I received a really convenient room with complimentary water, which had everything I needed and was very comfortable. I had a late dinner at the onsite restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I had wanted to go out, but I was tired, and I regret nothing. The meal was on par with the best restaurants, if not better, in my opinion. The included breakfast I had the next morning was also delicious and kept me full all day long. Having a UPS location in the hotel was a major benefit for me, as I was able to collect an important package the next morning with zero hassle. After that, checkout was quick and easy, and I was able to get a shuttle to the Port of Miami at a great price. The staff I encountered were nice, friendly, and accommodating, and they had all the answers to my questions. Lastly, I must mention the delicious chocolate chip cookies. They provided them generously, and I ended up buying three tins to take home with me. Overall, whenever I’m in Miami for business or pleasure, I will definitely be staying at this hotel..

My room was dirty. They didn’t vacuum and the toilet had pee around the screws on the toilet. The tiles were cracked in the tub and the faucet was not connected to the wall. The breakfast buffet was $35! Yikes.

the hotel feels extremely outdated, the biggest issue was the food. there were very few dining options and the ones available were overpriced and poor quality

The breakfast was 72 dollars for 2 people and they don’t tell you it’s that much. Overall, not impressed. Too expensive for what you got.

The entire atmosphere was a 10 out of 10 room was clean room nicely decorated Staff very nice and a two minute walk to the conference center as well as beautiful shops and restaurant anytime. I have to be at this conference convention center. I will stay here.

Good room and very convenient hotel in a good location. I was especially pleased with the very cheap transfer to the cruise port. There is a good well stocked little shop on the complex which was useful.

We had a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything made for a great start to our trip. We would definitely stay here again.
