Sleep Inn Miami Airport

The shuttle bus ride to the airport is on a first come, first served basis. Seating is limited. What should be done is allow people to sign up the night before so there will be no confusion for Seating. This information was shared with us the morning we are were leaving.

Great staff, clean room, good value, decent breakfast, and nice pool. The beds are overdue for replacement. Good shuttle service.

Shuttle only leaves every 45 minutes which is not that convenient but durable

They do not start shuttle service until 6 AM. So I am going to have to use uber would not book here again because of that.

Everything was nice and clean, but the air conditioner in the room was too noisy, there was an unpleasant smell in the hallway, and the pool was very dirty

There was a very strong smell of urine throughout. I waited over 2 hours at the airport for the shuttle while phoning repeatedly and being told it was on its way.

nice enough place, but i specifically picked it because there was a pool, the pool closed ridiculously early and didn't open early enough before check out. very disappointing after a long drive to get there specifically to take a swim before dinner......would not have booked had we known pool would not be open! would not recommend as a result.

The lobby could use some TLC. The front desk receptionist wasn’t the friendliest. The room was good but the bathroom shower was rather dated. Not sure I would choose this hotel to stay at again as the price was rather high for the quality of the hotel and room. Also, the elevator certificate was almost a year expired. I know it was last inspected 7/2024, just not sure of the exact day. I didn’t take a picture but something that made me want to choose the stairs instead of the elevator!!

Great location. Literally 5 minutes from the airport. Clean room, cold a/c, a very comfortable stay. Easy to get in and out and no parking fee!

Room had a strong mildew oder that kept getting worse throughout the night.

The property was ok. It was easy to get to your room. The elevator had a bad smell. The bathroom door do not close properly and the carpet in the rooms need changing. When you walk on the carpet in the room stuff from the carpet stays on your feet.

You get what you pay for essentially but the pictures are misleading. The place was dirty, dated, and had a terrible odor.

Roaches in room!

Cockroaches, bed bugs, urine smell, this place has it all. Front staff didnt seem to care. " this happens sometimes", was their response. Consider yourself warned...

The room was smelly and there were cocrcoach. The toilet has pup in it.

This hotel was awful and not what was recommended by Hotel.com. I requested my money to be returned. It smelled of mold and requested a non smoking room and the attendant said people do not abide by the rules. I stayed in the first room less than five minutes and the new room because there was a door between me and other people and I was afraid they relocated me. The second room smelled strongly of mold and I stayed two minutes long enough to order the Uber. All men attending and other men just standing around. It was very scary. I checked out and I know it hadn’t been 30 minutes because I feared my life. Called and requested a refund and they told me had to speak to the hotel to issue a refund and till this day I have not heard anything.

Dirty , power outage ,

This is my second time staying at sleep inn and I find the room comfortable but not properly cleaned. The carpet feels dirty and leaves your feet feeling like you walk on dust. Face basin had hair in it like someone pluck their eyebrow (lol). Otherwise everything was good. Customer service and complimentary breakfast I really did appreciate that.

Noisy, Dirty, musty smell

A bit dated but got the job done for an airport hotel.

Room was not very clean. Toilet leaked water on the floor. The pull for the blind was torn from the wall with a whole in the drywall. We could hear the guest like we were sharing a room with them. Woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of pot. Not great and was expensive.

A bit noisy at any time

Friendly staff, nice quiet location and a super comfortable bed, but I was on the second floor and it felt like I was going to fall through. Walking down the hallway, the floor creaked and then in my room, the floor creaked, especially in the restroom. And then the shower head was horrible. It didn’t have any water pressure and it was extremely hard to take a shower, but Other than that, a great hotel.

We only stayed for one night and had a good time. We only noticed that the air conditioning was a bit noisy and didn't cool very well. Otherwise, everything was fine for one night. Everything was very clean and organized.

The room was good, bed was confortable, but the air conditioner was super noisy it sounds like if was super old and need mantainence, i couldnt rest and slept properly, evan that this was my main intention due to a long fligth before my next day travels. I couldnt turn it off because the weather was very hot, so i have to try to sleep with all of that noise.

Well lit, updated rooms with usb-a and usb-c power outlets built in the wall receptacles bedside. Check in was quick despite the lobby being crowded upon arriving. Daytime staff was a delight the night staff a little lazy. Outside of that was very pleased and would stay here again and recommend to others.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Air conditioning was very loud and made it difficult to sleep.

Basic accommodation and breakfast available. Rooms are on the small side and clean enough for a short stay.

Everything was decent except tv didn’t work and phone was dead. Use my cell phone to call the desk to tell him about the TV. They said they would send somebody up from Maintenance. 90 minutes later no one arrived. I called again and they said Maintenance have gone home and I was just gonna have to wait until tomorrow. At that time I went to hotels.com chat spoke to a very nice person and within five minutes they had somebody from the front desk come up. He was tattooed like a gangster wannabe and was 5 feet tall and had a chip on his little shoulder. Because something appeared on the screen, he acted as though the TV was fine. He finally went to get a different remote and came back and said I was going to have to move rooms. I was in Accessible room, which they had no more of, so I had to move up to another floor, which was fine. When I got the key to the new room, little wannabe wouldn’t even make eye contact. Just held it out like here now get lost. Never again.

They staff was very helpful and friendly

I received an email confirmation that the hotel provides transportation. When I arrived at the airport, I waited almost an hour before the shuttle arrived. I called the front counter three times before I could get someone on the phone. Upon arriving to the hotel, the lobby smelled like roach spray. There were people hanging outside and in the lobby. The front desk clerk was not pleasant at all. He gave us keys and upon entering the room the was some type of bug. The room only had one bed and I asked the front desk clerk could he change it and he told me no. He was very unprofessional. The elevator where you press the buttons to the floor was almost falling off. The rack to hold the towels in the room were broken. Absolutely would never stay here again.

I've stayed a couple times and the guy at the front desk is beyond rude. Honestly, I can't tell if he's rude or isn't operating at a high enough level to read the room.

The staff at SLEEP INN were rude, front desk attendant barely spoke English and they kept hanging up the phone, I had to call multiple times for them to send the shuttle to the airport which had me waiting for over two hours, worst hotel in Miami and never staying there again

The receptionist was really rude and unprofessional. I ask for his name 3 times and did not wanted to provide his name. If you are providing an excellent service there is no reason why the name cannot be given. This could affect the quality of service the hotel provide with people with actitud like this.

Easy checking in, friendly staff even helped us book a reservation to get to the port.

It was a nice place to stay. Safe, quiet and just 15min away from the airport.

I liked that this property was very near to the airport. However, what I didn't like was that the parking was off to the side of the building only, with no spaces to the front of the building or near the lobby, especially a single female travelling alone and arriving late at night.

Easy distance drom the airport with free shuttle service. It is somewhat isolated but using rideshare apps i found to be cery cist effective for my needs.

The staff was friendly. Check in was a breeze. Fits the purpose for travelers on a budget who are on the go looking for somewhere close to the airport.

The hotel is located within close proximity to shopping areas and restaurants. Easily accessible. Dolphin Mall is approximately 15 minutes away and Walmart is approximately 8 minutes away. Parking was also easily accessible and it was free.

The breakfast is Too básic, more diverse and more because people est and very quick is empty. Love the location but I think it could be better. But relation price/hotel is fair! I decídely could be staying there one more time!

Breakfast area was so small that a line wrapped around and by the time you finally were able to get your food, most was already gone. I asked staff for more food, they brought out only eggs and staff is not really pleasant.

The stay was good, but could have been better. The water pressure was low and water temperature was not getting hot enough. Breakfast options were limited and some items were finished at 8 am itself. Had to be early to get muffins and yogurt itself. Waffles and boiled eggs were unlimited though. Location was good.

Very clean and updated facilities. The free breakfast was good and you could make waffles. They had bagels, muffins, sausage links, boiled eggs, and yogurt, in addition to coffee and juice. Overall a good value for the money.

I didn’t like that the room smell humid that the card for your room can easily be deactivated by several reasons to take a hot shower. You have to wait up to 30 minutes for the water to get hot. The continental breakfast is not cooked eggs it’s boiled and cold. There’s no toast there’s bagels you have to make your waffles in the waffle maker.

The check-in process at the hotel was remarkably efficient. I was especially pleased that no credit card was required at the time of check-in, which made the process even more convenient. However, the breakfast service did not meet expectations. Although we arrived during the designated breakfast hours, the staff had already begun clearing the food. As a result, the available options were extremely limited, and we were only able to serve a waffle and a bagel. This significantly diminished the value of the breakfast offering. The condition of the hotel hallways was concerning. A persistent odor of moisture was noticeable from one end of the corridor to the other, which detracted from the overall atmosphere of the property. The guest room itself was in acceptable condition and provided the basic accommodations expected. One important consideration for future guests is the limited availability of nearby dining options. While this is not directly the responsibility of the hotel, the closest establishments include an IHOP, a McDonald’s, and a Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, the customer service at IHOP was particularly poor during our visit. Additionally, attempts to use rideshare services to access alternative dining locations were met with high fares, often exceeding the cost of the meal, likely due to toll routes in the area. I've stayed in a lot of 2-star hotels, and this one is below average. There was nothing wrong with it, but the beds and bedding were old, and the pillows were extremely old. It'd be fine for the night before your extremely early flight, but I wouldn't recommend it for families or an extended stay. The "free" breakfast consisted of two cereals and a waffle station that made really flimsy waffles - it was barely edible. No hot or cold food. No yogurts in the mini-fridge there, just a tub of hard-boiled eggs. The hot food display cases were empty. It was clean and the folks who worked there were nice.

Very good location near the airport and the room was ok. But truly disappointed about the so called "breakfast included". When we showed up for breakfast at 8qm there was barely anything left and we were told they were not making any more. When we asked for simple little items the lady at the breakfast area didn't want to help us, we felt like we were bothering her. We have slept at Sleep Inns all over the country and we are always satisfied and the breakfast are always plentiful and delicious. But this establishment does not seem to care about the "breakfast included" aspect. Honestly we should get a refund or partial refund of the amount we paid because we did not receive the services we paid for. Even if we had showed up at 9:45am the breakfast should be available. Not everyone gets up at 5-6am when we are on holidays. We do not recommend this hotel if you are in Miami near the airport.

The front desk staff before I checked in, the front desk while i checked in, as well as customer service rep over the phone were all as helpful as can be and proper. Overall I have not one negative thing except for the breakfast. When i saw it said breakfast included i thought it'd be continental but its called a coffee bar.
