No clock available, had to ask for a shower curtain and hairdryer. breakfast food was almost gone 1/2 before ending time & the area around the hotel was trashy…especially outside our room window. Pool wasn’t available either.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t anything special. Only powdered cream for the coffee, so did not enjoy. Exercise room was not clean. No towels, no water cups, and most importantly, no cleaning wipes. Check in attendant was very nice, gave good advice on where to eat

Our car broke down in Midway Fl. I booked this room with no idea where we were at. Theo the front desk clerk was so nice and helpful. He even offered to help us get to car to retrieve our stuff if necessary. We were grateful to find a place affordable and comfortable. They offer buffet breakfast, have a small but clean pool, and an outdoor area with tables and patio furniture

Hotel stay overall was nice..spacious rooms, clean..initially the room had a roach spray smell but went away after a while ..condition of the room is a bit outdated not the same luxury feel of the same brand hotel elsewhere. Breakfast area was nice and food spread adequate..cleaning staff eager to clean ,by opening my door before checkout but were polite .Also front desk staff were polite..exercise room had a nice universal weight machine and treadmill..checked in after 2am with 3 rooms and staff was accomodating, no issues.

Here on business. So having a place close to work is a plus. Breakfast in the morning is a plus. The weight room needs an upgrade though. One less treadmill and a better weight machine. The treadmills are ready to retire anyway. The staff has been great. The rooms have been clean and everything works. I’ll be back next week so that should tel you something.

We were quite disappointed in this hotel. The surrounding area is quite run down. The pool is tiny and not well maintained. The staff was not friendly and didn’t seem to put any effort into their jobs. We saw cockroaches in the bathroom at night, the AC was incredibly noisy, the coffee maker had dirty coffee and filter, there was no place to plug in the phone, and no tissues in the tissue holder. Also, when we tried to use the microwave, it made a terrible noise and filled the room with smoke. Also, no handles in the shower. Would not recommend.

It was a nightmare. There were roaches everywhere. They tried to accommodate us and put us in another room, but roaches were there. So we asked to go back. They came up to spray, but it only got worse. Roaches in shower, crawling up the bed, on the floor, above the head board. It was disgusting. We were stuck there because no more hotels available because of FAMU graduation

The hotel was not as nice as some reviews made it sound. We found several roaches in our bathroom. There was an old macaroni noodle stuck to the bed skirt. Breakfast was okay, but the fake eggs were nasty. The people were nice. We will not be staying here again.

The room smelled horrible, the front desk was rude at check in, we killed 10 bugs (German Roach and some other weird bug), they did not give us clean towels on day 2, and top to it off housekeeping was so loud talking in the hallway it woke up or kid. We will never stay there again.

Great value hotel while attending a football game in Tallahassee. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, and the besds were not bad. The only negative is when you turn the lights on when the room is dark, just be ready to kill a few small roaches. They weren’t big, but they were around.

Staff upon check in/check out were wonderful and helpful. Problem is the room and all inside space smelled terribly musty. Our room smelled like it was full of mold. The AC unit was so noisy when it came on it woke us up and we didn't sleep well at all either night. Had trouble keeping the room cool- certainly wasn't near the temperature that the unit displayed on the control board. We woke up with sinuses completely clogged. I would seriously suggest you have the property tested for the presence of mold. We did notice that there were efforts to improve an old property with newer laminate floors and decor. The water pressure in the shower in our room was excellent and very hot which was quite nice. We have stayed at Country Inns and Suites in the past and have always felt they met our expectations. Again, the staff was not the problem- we just felt that the property was below the standard of the Country Inns and Suites brand and think that corporate should take a long look at these issues and either correct them or perhaps move their name off of this particular property.

Room was decent and functional. A couple light switches were installed upside down. Not a big deal in itself, but makes you wonder what else is wrong. Bathroom door lock did not work. Bed support sounded like a drum every time I got in the bed. Needed to store some meds in the fridge. Had to stay cold but not frozen. Desk clerk didn't know which number was the coldest setting. No documentation. She tried to find the answer but got no response. Breakfast was good.

Rooms looked nice in pictures but in person they definitly got the “landlord special” when they last renovated. Painted over damaged walls, paneling in shower falling off, air conditioner wasn’t working, Staff was friendly and tried their best to help.

The front staff were excellent, polite and very informative. The king-sized bed was comfortable but made a terrible sound (like a drum) every time you got on or off the bed. The power outlets in the bathroom did not work. The floors seemed dusty/dirty.

Linda at check-in is great. Room was good. Breakfast was good except several things ran out and were not refilled very quickly. That caused more people waiting which made it even busier. Linda came to help the other lady refill the food or it would have been worse.

Room was comfortable and clean, but absolutely ATROCIOUS service. It was necessary to ask for towels, toilet paper, tissues and coffee packets. There is a small note on the bedside table that says rooms are cleaned every three days, but that service can be requested. Although service was requested on a number of times, none was ever provided. It was actually necessary for me to take the overflowing wastebaskets and empty them myself. In addition, the toilet seat was missing one lock-down bolt and very wobbly. This was never repaired during our stay although requested by us.

The front desk charged my card twice on a holiday weekend. She did not even apologize. Room smelled, bathroom floor disgusting, had a live German cockroach in bathroom, and the bed has a metal sheeting on bed frame that rattles every time you move. Nothing around it except a run down liquor store right in front and a dirt pit behind it. Do not stay here!!!!

floors on common areas were very dirty, coming in and out of the elevator. My shower was dirty, hair in the bathroom. Front desk gentleman was lazy and acted bothered when i indicated they ran out of eggs and creamer during breakfast. Check in was great, very friendly lady.

It was a decent place for our last minute stay. It was conveniently located close to highway. It wasn’t worth the cost, but there was a football game in town so every hotel charged higher rates. It was clean and comfortable. Late night staff was super friendly, but early morning desk staff had little to say- staring at computer screens.

This was an older property. It could definitely use some updating. The rooms were very spacious and the staff was excellent. Walls very thin could hear the neighbors. And initially did not feel comfortable having to pass a very active bar in front of the hotel with children. But there are not many hotels to choose from in this area. of the hotel with children.

There was only one person in charge of the front of house- desk and breakfast room, and she was overwhelmed. Breakfast ran out of most food by 8:30. No one was at the registration desk upon arrival at 9pm because the clerk had been so busy she hadn't had a chance to get her dinner- she arrived within 10 minutes. Other than that, it is clean and a good location.

Front desk was very nice and helpful! Beds were comfy! Did have food not cleaned out of mini fridge and had what looked like BBQ sauce on bathroom door by handle. AC was not working in room when we got here however front desk helped immediately and got it working. Would definitely stay again as a pit stop for traveling. Breakfast is a HOT breakfast with options.

The staff made a big deal about the no smoking rules of the facility however when I entered my room it smelled like cigarettes. The shower smelled of mildew and the AC unit was so loud I had to turn it off to get some sleep. The bathroom door was also broken and did not lock. The breakfast was very limited and when I went to make a waffle the batter dripped out at an incredibly slow rate. When I asked the front desk if they could refill the waffle batter dispenser I was told “there’s some in there” and sent back to struggle with the slow dripping dispenser.
