Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Orlando Airport, FL

When I booked this hotel, I made sure that they had a shuttle to the airport in Orlando by checking on there web page. When i checked in at the desk I found out that they cut off the shuttle at 9pm. My friend's flight was landing at 11:59 pm, So I had to leave at 9pm and wait 3 hours at the airport then pay to take a taxi back to this hotel. I will no stay at this hotel again. Two weeks earlier I booked a room a few blocks away in a different hotel that had no problem taking us to the airport at 3AM then picking me up about 30 minutes later bring me back to their hotel.

The property was excellent, but we had a late flight (arrived after 11pm) and I was upset to find out the airport shuttle service stopped sometime in the early evening. I don't think this was listed or identified on the property information page and created a small inconvenience and additional, unexpected cost during our trip.

The location near the airport is convenient, and breakfast was well supplied, but the property needs better upkeep. Housekeeping should improve room and common area cleanliness. We got stuck in the elevator even though we were under the weight limit, and no one answered the phone when we tried calling multiple times for the shuttle service. We had to use Uber instead, which cost an extra $80 for our group of 15. The free shuttle was the main reason we chose this hotel, so that was very disappointing.

Only thing i can say i disagree with is your $5.00 parking fee, this hotel is in a good safe area however your parking lot is not gated, its not a garage nor is it valet...Plus signs read "not responsible for damages to vehicles".. so what exactly is the fee for?

They charge $10.00 for parking, it was suppose to be free.

room clean and spacious. one day only one elevator worked which led to long waits. Hot tub lukewarm at best. Breakfast good and plentiful, could have more fruit choices.

Airport shuttle was not available but they did send an Uber which arrived after 15mins or so. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was okay, good variety and the waffle was really good!

Everything was fine but had i known the hot tub was on the fritz i would have chosen elsewhere

We enjoyed the pool and the jacuzzi. However, towels meant for use at the pool were lacking.

Room was extremely humid, the room smelled horrible due to high humidity, this smell was noticeable instantly and remained through the entire stay. The rug was wet for first and second day until the air conditioner was able to mostly dry the carpet.

The room smelled bad. Not worth the money paid to have a smelly room. Other than that it was fine for the one night we stayed.

The mold smell in the room was so pungent I had to sleep with a coffee packet near my pillow to help drown out the smell. I chose this hotel because it seemed like a good value but it was disgusting.

Where to start. First off upon checking in, it was a pretty unfriendly experience. Staff seemed less than enthusiastic about being there in the first place, rushed through explanations and made it feel like we were inconveniencing them by checking into the hotel. Even when we called for the shuttle service from the airport it felt like we were inconveniencing them by requesting the shuttle. Immediately upon entering our room, we were hit with a strong mold/mildew smell. it was overbearing to the point we had to keep our room door open to try and air it out for most of the duration of our stay. With the unfriendly and the seemingly easily inconveniencing of staff responses, we put on the AC unit hoping it would help, but ended up waking up in the morning with all of us feeling sick, coughing, sneezing etc. The room and washroom had visible signs of wear and tear, lots of chipping paint, rust, broken fixtures etc. bathroom amenities were few and far between, no soap, no shampoo, no body wash, just 2 small bottles of conditioner… On top of all of this, the elevator stopped working. Which having 4 small children with strollers etc to carry up and down the stairs in addition to our luggage was not fun. Pool area was just okay, water was cold and hot tub water was not hot at all either, basically the same temperature as the pool, not sure if it was also broken. Lots of garbage lying around the outside of the hotel. The one and only good thing about our stay was the breakfast.

Old building, lacking maintenance specially carpet. The whole building smells smoke and old. I was afraid of bedbugs since I got a bite on my foot while sleeping. Im washing all my clothes to make sure.

Proximity to the airport, along with available shuttle, is the hotel’s best feature. Inside the room and hallways, decor is a bit tired. Carpet that is ready to be replaced gave the room an unpleasant smell until air conditioning could blast it out.

Stayed here before going on a cruise, staff were friendly and room was clean!

We stayed for three nights, and while the location was excellent—close to the airport, Disney, and Universal Studios—the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel and the room had a strong, unpleasant odor. Additionally, the bathtub was not properly cleaned, with hair left around the drain, which was quite off-putting.

The carpet in our room was so dirty that our feet left black marks in the shower when we took a shower. My husband had to rewash his feet when he got in the bed. The pipe behind the toilet was corroded. I have pictures of it. A large spot of paint was coming off the top of the refrigerator. I also have pictures of that. We had no wash cloths until we requested some. The person at the front desk maintained a sour facial appearance as though she was angry with everyone. There was a strong musty smell in the room, and a strong air freshener smell in the hallways and elevator. Is was as thought they were trying to cover up an unpleasant odor.

This is not on the staff but the rooms AC didn't work and even when we changed rooms, it still was broken. Staff was super friendly.

Needs some repair work in bathroom. Toilet paper holder out of wall, shower faucets are loose from wall. Don't stay in room 316 unless you like having a spotlight shine in the room. Curtains don't close.

Windows are thin. You could hear people at the pool who were speaking normal and I was on the 4th floor. Other than that everything else was nice

Room was clean. The Wi-Fi was strong front end staff was very friendly.

Property was definitely under renovation but all amenities were accessible. Rooms highly outdated. Hair everywhere in the bathroom. Breakfast, however, was awesome! Staff friendly. I liked that they had a free shuttle to the airport. Would i stay here again??? Thats a strong maybe...

Air conditioning didn't work.

The only issue we had was the air conditioning wasn't working and it was very hot and stuffy in our room.

The least expensive opinion of a plethora of hotels in the vicinity of MCO. It holds a good location as its primary feature and Room 209 was spacious, clean and had accessible features that helped make our overnight stay comfortable and relaxing. The breakfast had many food options, but the the eggs, potato triangles and sausage patties were cold and unappealing. Overall, for the night, our stay was adequate. The room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the area was safe and quiet, as airplane traffic was minimal after 12PM.

Not very welcoming Lady at front desk does not like her job arrived at 130 room was ready but they wanted 40 for early check in. I had to 15 for them to store luggage for 1.5 hours The hotel is not very clean. Strong smell. Carpet in room wasn’t vacuumed. When you walk in to a hotel guest should feel welcomed Sorry we didn’t feel this

Although rooms were available we had to pay $40 for early check in or $15 to store luggage for a couple of hours. Most hotels we use do not charge to store luggage and will text as soon as your room is available. Not happy with the money grab!!

Front desk and every staff member I met were the most polite, attentive and kind person I've met in a while. Definitely this is a great inn.

The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. The room and hotel was clean with no issues.

The front desk person on Friday morning was awesome. We needed a quiet place to host an important meeting and he was nice enough to provide the meeting room for us. Also he extended the checkout room for 30 mins though the others on the previous nights said that there would be extra charge

Never stay again. Unfriendly front desk. No early check in rooms not available. But if we pay $40 maybe we have a room available. But if you want us to hold your luggage it will cost you $15 each. Terrible customer relationship.

Staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Mattress and pillow were comfortable. Shower was okay. Everything was clean. Was able to walk to a TGIFridays. Morning shuttle to airport was a plus.

Nice breakfast but the hotel was hard to find it needs better signage. Only one elevator worker and there was signage and concern about break ins of the cars in the parking lot even though they charged an extra 5.00 to park there? Is that for security?

It’s dead smack in the middle of everything.

The property was very clean, we felt very safe, it was very close to restaurants. Our room was very clean. It was also very close to the airport, which is why we chose it. The only negative is you have to pay for parking, but that’s what happens in big cities

Conveniently located near the airport, took the free shuttle early morning after a quick breakfast. Will stay here again in the future. There are restaurants in walking distance too.

Perfect for the last night of our vacation. Clean, quiet and close to the airport.

Hotel is located in a prime area, near stores, restaurants, gas stations. Its safe and clean. Breakfast was fair. Only inconvenient waa the laundry was out of service and we did need it at moment. Everything else was in order.

Incredibly loud music woke me before 1am and lasted about an hour.. Room and staff all okay. Needed better info re shuttle on arrival. Breakfast was poor.

The staff for overall friendly and helpful. The carpets and room condition was a bit worn, but the beds are clean and very comfortable. We were disappointed in the breakfast that it was all throwaway cutlery, plates and plastic cups. Not much for fresh fruit or vegetables, but there were at least oranges.

Overall it was a decent stay. My room's bathroom had an old showerhead that was difficult to change the spray settings on and a cheap plastic toilet seat that shifted sideways. I think the big hotels should not be charging for parking. This hotel charges $5.00 per night to park. The breakfast had good scrambled eggs. There were hashed brown potatoes that I do not eat. No meat at all: sausages or bacon. Bland corn flakes, Froot Loops and Raisin Bran for cereals besides the oatmeal packets. Cheerios would have been good. I couldn't see what griddle items there were because of so many people in the dining room. As to being quiet, I suppose since the hotel is close to the amusement parks there will be noisy kids. There were some in the hallway on the second floor. Parents do not realize that other guests may retire somewhat early after a long flight or drive. Kids should be in the room with parents, not roaming the hallway.

We enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was good but I do wish they had a variety of foods on different days. We stayed 5 days and eating the same thing each morning was okay for the first two days. Rooms were nice and clean. Location was very close to the airport so if you are a light sleeper then this is not the place for you. There were restaurants in walking distance and grocery store was not far. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a nice, short stay here ahead of an early morning flight out of Orlando. Although we had to take an Uber due to the extremely early hour, it was very close. My only point of improvement is the lobby or conference men's room. It needed cleaning attention.
