The hotel is connected to the mall. There's a Chick-fil-A in Starbucks inside of the hotel. They give you 2 complimentary coupons to enjoy a free coffee from Starbucks or from one of the other restaurants. I think called crickets to get some coffee. The entrance of the hotel is very beautiful. The rooms are in okay condition, but very clean. The staff was extremely welcoming, and I will definitely stay there again. It is a very busy and popular hotel. They had several conferences any events. The hotel Isn't far from the food court in the mall .Yes, there is an entrance through the mall through the hotel. It was very easy to find parking and move in and out of the parking lot. You can't beat the location and the price. Yes, the room is a little bit dated, but it's not something that will deter me from staying there again.

The place is close to the airport and was perfect for our pre cruise stay. The mall is right behind the check in counter. The pool was really nice! Will definitely stay here again

Great location at the mall literally walking from the lobby into the mall!! Amazing staff, clean and quiet and we felt very safe. The restaurant there for guests only is a bit pricey but definitely enjoyed the complimentary drink from the bar. Check in/out was super easy, a secure parking lot left is worry free during our stay as we totally enjoyed our room with a great view of Orlando. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I liked the hotel, the secure key to use the elevator. I wish they could do like hilton and use your phone to open the door. I didn't like the surprise $77 resort fee that was tagged on at check out. They said unlimited water and coffee but said all rooms get charged that $77 fee whether they use the amenities or not. But overall, easy access to the conference and the mall. Kept leftovers in the fridge :)

Check in was easy and the lady behind the counter was nice. I grabbed my stuff and when i went to walk back in the creepy guy in the round a bout kept trying to ask what specific room i was staying in. I went to drop my stuff off in the room and use the bathroom. Found a few ants in the bathroom and around the doorway on the way out. Thought weird since i was on the 7th floor but ok.. Went to the mall for a while and came back at night ready to relax.. The ants were in swarms by the trash with nothing in it (put stuff in it and it was ridiculous), all over the side table between the beds and around the baseboard that was not even attatched to the wall under the window. Gross. The pool was nice with plenty of towels. Check out was easy. It was nice that i got 2 free drinks and convenient having the mall, starbucks and chikfila attached.

I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom in our room. The magnifying mirror was gross and there was hair on the countertop. The location was convenient to eateries and the mall is directly attached to the hotel. There's a Starbucks and Chick-Fil-A in the hotel. The Uber/Lyft pickup area was a walk from the hotel. That was probably my biggest grievance as I used Lyft for my entire stay and paid the same as everyone else but couldn't be dropped off at the roundabout.

Our hotel room had a large amount of little flies. I took pictures but I guess I cannot attach to my review. The hotel is beautiful. It looks so grand from the outside but the room was interesting. Balcony outside but door did not open, also seemed shared. We were given an accessible room but did not need it - showering the floor got soaked and felt damp all night, and slippery. The beds were comfortable and we slept well - the AC worked great. Plenty of outlets to charge phones and devices. Starbucks and chic fil a in the lobby was a hit with all 3 of us. Would stay again, but not full price.

Over all ok would never pay full price. No coffee in lobby, they had a starbucks. Dirty linen and food left in hall by housekeeping. Bed comfirtable. Room ok but could be cleaner. Staff very good.

Filthy room. Our hotel room was so dirty. The sheets had hair all over them it was disgusting. Bathroom was dirty with hair as well. It appeared as if they just made the beds from the last people who stayed and hung new towels, surfaces were also dirty. Would NOT recommend staying here.

Was shocked by the upkeep of this hotel. Given the price point (there were many other similar hotels cheaper than the Florida Hotel in the area and even offering free hot breakfast & a hot tub) and the outer appearance of the hotel, I expected higher. Checking in was easy, but the room didn’t have complete supplies such as hand soap but an odor. When asking for a soap bar and an extra shower gel at the front desk, a housekeeping staff delivered them quickly. The only feature I liked about this hotel was that you could easily visit the shopping mall through the back entrance of the hotel. Other than that, the inner hallways, elevators, and rooms seemed very outdated/ old and the extra daily hotel fee didn’t seem to worth $23. The cleanliness of the rooms was also questionable (had housekeeping for one day but it seemed that they only made the bed and threw away the trash because I still found a tag string on the floor which was cut off from a new sweater I bought from the mall). Probably will not come back unless I need somewhere to crash in after shopping.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of our Orlando trip as it was near to the airport and on top of the Mall. We booked two nights but only stayed one as your flight home wa at 9pm. We were given Room 319, it appeared to be above the plant room so there was a constant humming noise, the bed was also vibrating which was a tad annoying. The safe was locked on arrival, but the sorted it out after a call. There was no plug in the sink and bedside light was broken so didn’t work at all. The hotel is very convenient for the last minute shopping and airport - the above would not stop me from staying again but I would certainly make sure I get a room higher up and away from any plant rooms.

Check in was nice and easy. We had 3 adults and 1 child checking in. When we arrived in our room, I went to grab a tissue.... they had 3 tissues in the box all sticking out and that's it. The box was empty. We all needed showers and we all use a towel for our hair and one to dry off so we went to the front desk and asked for extra towels. They told us they'd bring them up. NOTHING. We called the front desk and AGAIN asked for extra towels and we were told they'd bring them up in 10 minutes....hour and a half... STILL NOTHING! So I never got to take a shower that night because nobody had the courtesy to bring them up like we were told. We also had NO cable in the room so we asked about that and they sent William up to our room. He was great. Very friendly, super nice.... turns out it was unplugged for some reason so he just plugged it in and we were good on that. The bellhops were all great! Super friendly and ready to help in a minutes notice. Was not happy with the front desk ignoring our request for extra towels and a box of tissues after being told they were bringing them. Would i stay there again....I really don't know.

As we arrived, I tried to find my reservation number on my cellphone because I imagined it would be helpful. But the lady working there immediately said she didn't need it and asked for my passport (like an immigration officer or something like that). So I calmly opened my wallet, gave her my driver's license, and asked her if that would be enough for a check-in at a hotel. Wouldn't it be better for the hotel employees to be trained to ask for an ID, not a passport? Though we are immigrants and have passports and permanent resident visas, she shouldn't be asking for people's passports like a security guard at the airport. Treatment at the reception during check-in was poor. After that, she said a few things fast, and we were good to go. She gave us an accessible room with a bathroom where everything would get wet because it was accessible for a wheelchair (which we didn't ask for). And that was it. I have to say that this was not the most pleasant moment of our trip.

Although we only stayed for one night, Justine at the front desk made us feel exceptional. We got to choose what room we wanted to stay in and we also got a free Starbucks drink included in our stay which was a nice touch. I also like that the mall is attached to the hotel as well.

Stayed for 3 nights and housekeeping never ever came to our room. When the staff person texted me the first day I told them and they didn’t respond until the next day and they said they would send someone right away. No one came. Our iron was broken and I called the front desk and said we needed an iron right away as we were getting dressed. Front desk said they would call housekeeping and send one up right away. We left our room 40 minutes later and no one had brought an iron. When we came back 5 hours later there was an iron at the door…a little too late. As I was taught in the customer service industry you under promise and over deliver. Apparently the staff of The Florida Hotel has it backwards.

There are plenty of food options and shops nearby because it is located at The Florida Mall. There was a breakfast option available at a price. We ended up driving a couple of minutes to an IHOP nearby. I booked the room last minute as we were attending an event in the downtown area and were also going to be be checking in very late. I contacted the front desk by phone and they assured me that the reservation would not be cancelled. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean and comfortable. My only concern was that I noticed some debris on the carpet in the hallway on our level as we walked to our room. I would book this location again.

The location of the hotel is fantastic but the customer service is absolutely outstanding! Alaya at the front desk was VERY professional and efficient. Tye bellmen were fantastic as was the cleaning staff. Also loved the pool area.

We needed a hotel for one night following our cruise before flying home tomorrow. We chose The Florida Hotel for its location to the airport and the fact that it had dining options and attached to The Florida Mall. Confirmation & communication with the hotel prior to arrival was terrific. They stored our bags until our room was ready, all staff were friendly & helpful. We shopped & had lunch then checked, our room was ready early. We sat by the quiet pool area in the afternoon. We dined at Crickets Bar in the hotel for dinner expecting “bar food”. Everything we ordered was beyond amazing and the portions huge. The staff there were also equally fantastic. There is also an option to pay for a buffet breakfast which is a plus. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Orlando.
