Renaissance Orlando Airport Hotel

We made reservations with your hotel. When we got there, the hotel’s water was shut off. We were shuttled to a nearby Spring Hill Suites where we stayed the night. The water problem was definitely not the hotel’s fault, just an unfortunate occurrence. It was disappointing to us since the Spring Hill Suites was a downgrade from your hotel. We wanted to stay in, eat dinner at the hotel, and get some sleep. We ended up having to go out since we weren’t staying at your hotel. We paid for a nice hotel (your’s) and ended up staying at an average hotel.

Property is great. Parking lot doubles as airport parking so you have to pay to park during your stay. Quite annoying but it is what it is.

Very nice place to unwind after a long flight. Very clean and upscale. Friendly staff and reliable 24h airport transportation.

The staff went above and beyond at this hotel. Transportation was easy and felt safe. Dining options are Great. Clean and beautiful pool/hot tub.

Great location for early flight out of MCO. Parking option was far cheaper (and more secure) than on-airport parking. Shuttle was perfect and all was on time.

The hotel seems to be fancy but when we went to our room even though clean it had an older hotel vibe. We went outside to use the spa and we needed to clean it but the jets ended up not working.

We loved our stay here! The grounds are so beautiful! Our favorite was the heated pool and the pool area!

Everything was good except for the fire alarms going off and causing evacuation. I think there was a water leak of some sort.

Yes, airport shuttle works perfect

After we checked in, we were told the property didn't have any water and that engineering was working on it. We were told the water was to be back on at 4am, it wasn't. At 7am we decided to leave because the water still wasn't on. I don't feel we should be charged for this night stay.

This hotel must have recently had some very serious water damage. We were originally given a room on the 7th floor, and we noticed immediately a very musty smell when getting off the elevator. The carpet looked very damaged, and we noticed a floor fan tucked away in one of the corners of the hallway. The room itself was very damp feeling and felt dirty, which was not the best feeling, but the worst part was the air vent had what we were concerned was mold on the ceiling. We called downstairs and we were then moved to the 8th floor after voicing our concern. The 2nd room wasn’t much better, but at least the vent didn’t have as bad of a stain on the ceiling. The room just felt very old and damaged. The hotel lobby was beautiful, but we just couldn’t get over the state of the rooms and the musty/moldy smell throughout the hotel room floors. We expected a Renaissance Hotel to be in better shape than that, and that is why we chose the hotel in the first place, even though it was pricier than other competitors on the app. That being said, having a shuttle every half an hour to the airport was helpful, especially because we had an early morning flight, which is why I couldn’t give it less than three stars.

Hotel had an awful smell throughout of cheap air freshener reminiscent of a Las Vegas casio. This was immediately noticeable upon entering the hotel. It was worse in the hallway outside our room. Also the temp in the hallway was ridiculously cold. Our room: there was another terrible smell in our room which was hard to pinpoint, like a bad cleaning product. We think they were covering up something. It was bad, it totally ruined our stay. We were too tired to go complain and ask for a room change. We were so put off by the smell outside the room, we figured all the rooms smelled terrible. The stink from the room remained in our clothes long after checking out. We will never stay here again.

Ended up with rash went to the doctors confirmed bed bugs the room smelled of mold the bed looked slept in the shower was filthy

Walls seem to be paper thin. We could hear the people in the adjoining room. Not their fault, as they were not doing anything room, but it sounded like they were in our room. In the morning we found a huge cockroach in the room. Not sure if we dragged it in with us, but given we went from airport to hotel via taxi, we probably didn’t…..

Noisy AC and toilet would flush by itself all night long. Dirty room with ants.

We had a very unpleasant stay after a 10 hour international flight. We arrived later in evening and with a child that needed to sleep immediately. We were given a room and my wife bathed our child quickly and put her in bed to sleep. We then realized how bad the condition of the room was- extremely strong musty mildew smell, staines carpets, stained sofa, broken curtains, etc. By then it was too late as my daughter was sleeping. My wife woke up with a headache and feeling nauseous from the smell and had to wear a mask until morning. We woke our daughter up early and got in the car to leave as soon as possible. Although the front desk staff were nice and offered to chamge rooms, we were stuck as we couldnt wake our sleeping child. Overall, a bad experience- we would strongly recommend against staying here and will look for other options than Renaissance for future travels.

Very clean and quiet.

You really have to do something about the doors slamming from other rooms it’s very loud and uncomfortable. Couldn’t sleep tell everyone else on the floor was in there rooms. And our safe wasn’t working.

The property was close to the airport and provided a shuttle. Check in was a breeze and staff was friendly. The Libby was large and welcoming. The only reason didn’t give it 5 star ⭐️ is because the rooms were a little outdated, however beds were comfortable and the room was clean!

There were ugly stains on the sitting chair, rendering it useless. Furnishings are old and worn. HVAC rattled the entire night - very noisy, making it hard to sleep. Shuttle service was very good.

Spent the night before an early flight. Room was big and early and furniture and beds were clean and comfortable. The issue is with the bathroom and the state of the floor in the hall : horrible !! Hall on 8th floor : the carpet is so stain it looks 15 years old. Bathroom in room 828 : so old and in bad shape, I felt like I was in a completely different hotel. Floor was dirty and the bathroom didn't feel clean at all. Next to the nice room, this bathroom was a disgraced. Broken tiles and tile joint around the bath and stains on the floor tiles. Plus we found an old towel hanging in the back of the bathroom door that the cleaning staff did see. Makes me wonder if they even came to clean in the bathroom at all. Honestly gross ! On the good side the staff is amazing, the pool and exercise room are all well maintained and the location is A1.

We checked in and the TV and phone weren’t working. We were not able to order room service as the phone was not working and then the room service hours ended. We had to change rooms to a one where the TV and phone were working so it was inconvenient. The staff was helpful though.

Hotel rooms need updating as well as areas in the hallway. Comforters beds but furniture and bathrooms need to be upgraded. Definitely not a 4 star hotel

Flight was very late. Shuttle picked us up in 5 minutes at 2:00 in the morning. Driver and desk clerk were happy and upbeat. Offered us waters and we were in our room in minutes. 5 Star service. Highly recommend.

Loved The Renaissance! Will definitely stay again. The staff from the front desk to the bartenders were all very friendly and helpful.

The valet walked right by us when we were pulling out bags etc. and didn’t ask if we needed valet services or anything, and walked far away for a while. Stood at the valet stand for at least 20 minutes. Told him we wanted valet and to leave the car for ten days. Charged my car and then handed me the ticket and told me to put it on the dash. Handed him the key and he said “oh, you want valet?” I honestly couldn’t even believe it and I was like YES, that’s what I originally said. Checkin to the hotel was great, and the man was very friendly and helpful. Then we got to the room and the tv wouldn’t connect to any apps saying there was no internet, so tried to watch regular cable, and that didn’t work either. Had to call the front desk, and they sent someone to fix the cable, but he couldn’t get the tv to connect to the internet either, but got the regular channels working. Went in the bathroom, and they only provided three towels, even though our reservation clearly stated we had four people. We stay here every time we fly in/out of Orlando, but it’s gone kind of downhill in the past year.

Great location for very early flight. Clean, spacious room and courteous staff.

free airport shuttle was a plus. We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was within walking distance of many restaurant choices. Then when our return flight was cancelled, we booked two more nights and we early had what we needed at our finger tips. Only 20 minute drive to Universal or Sea World. It was perfect for our needs.

The location is perfect. It is near the airport and within walking distance of several restaurants. Super clean and the beds were comfortable.

Close to the airport with free shuttle. Walking to restaurants or shopping is about 10 min away. Onsite amenities are great.

Older needs remodel but staff was awesome we had the pleasure of awesome service from Allison in the bar we.had lunch and dinner ! She was.the best !!! 10 stars 🌟 for her

The property and room was very nice. The dinning experience left something to be desired. Overall, we would stay there again, but would plan to eat elsewhere. There was no one to greet us when we arrived at the restaurant in the lobby, granted it was only 5:30 pm, but restaurant was advertised as "open". The service was slow, don\'t think I server was even in house when we arrived and were seated. Fruit was spoiled and had to be returned and the replacement item arrived after we had finished our meal. Everyone was very sorry.

Right around the corner from a long term parking lot so it was easy to drop the car and walk to the hotel. Comfortable beds and a nice place to stay before flying out of Orlando. Staff were friendly and attentive. Good breakfast.

The hotel was nice. The charge for the buffet became quite expensive for 8 people when there are nice hotels in the area with complimentary breakfasts.
