Normally, I would rate this property much higher. But I stayed here, hoping for a nice relaxing time and did not realize they would be having construction. I got an oceanfront room so I could have a cuppa coffee and read my book on the balcony while looking at the ocean and it was loud screeching construction there is no pool or hot tub. I would definitely chose somewhere else to stay if I knew this was the case. There was nothing relaxing about this trip.

Omg, the indoor pool was filthy, unheated, lights didn't work, and the door locks are faulty: I got locked in and couldnt get out, waited for someone to come in to get out, uhh safety problem? Took stairs for exercise and ended up in a horror movie area ttying to get out. The restaurant was horrible and super overpriced. For the price, stay elsewhere!

Everything was great except our ocean view room was right next to the huge HVAC unit-any time out on the balcony was like being inside the engine of a tank. Room 630. Food was great, property was beautiful! Pool was overrun by feral children- water looked really cloudy 😫

Know before you go, there is not a daily housekeeping service. If you want new towels you have to fill out a request before 10:00am. If you want your trash taken out, you have to leave your bag outside your door; therefore, the halls are filled with trash. Only one elevator was working during our 4 day stay. And most of the ice machines were not working. The first day, they were out of towels by the pool. Finally, the rooms are very tired and dated. The good thing about the brown carpet is that you can’t see all the dirt and sand on your floor after several days of being there with no housekeeping. This feels more like a roadside motel than the resort it pretends to be.

Two towers, our tower had 2 elevators, and one was out of service. It was a good 15 minute wait each time and people were just crammed on the elevator. Too many germs:( Saw no effort in repairing it either.

Only one elevator was operational the entire weekend. Staff was nice. Ice machine wasn't working on the 4th floor. Mind you it was Labor Day weekend. Out side of that my stay was cool.

Rooms were not clean and need updating Extra charges added to my acct that weren’t mine. Several things not in working order in our room. Phone, coffee pot, hot water in the bathroom sink didn’t work. Mildew around the shower and tub. Will not stay at this property again.

My room was absolutely dirty. The fridge leaked water all over the floor beforehand and we walked into a very musty stagnate smelly room. The kitchen floor was wet from the leak and a big black puddle was on the floor. The ceiling fan didn't work and the TV near kitchen also. For the amount of money i could have got a better room at the holiday Inn down the road. Also, the pool closed at 8pm. What a joke.

We were a group of ten with three rooms. Unfortunately, we found cockroaches in two of the rooms, which was very disappointing. The coffee machine power outlets were not working, and the overall cleaning service was just fair. The hotel needs improvement in cleanliness and maintenance.

Room was neglected. Staff was cordial but absolutely overwhelmed at check-in. The room was dirty. Mold on the window curtains - black mold spots on a white curtain. Blackout curtain had several holes in it. The floor of the bathroom was greasy/oily - I am on crutches and this made it very difficult to feel comfortable traversing the bathroom area. We ordered room service and received old, spoiled M&ms (pictures). Vents were disgusting to see how much dust was on it. Bathtub had very bad worn/chipped spots. No batteries in the TV remote - and I don't mean the batteries in the remote didn't work, I mean there weren't batteries in the remote. Before we were to check out after confirming a late check out for the morning for 1230pm, had a maid knock on our door twice for housekeeping, then ENTER the room while we were still in there! Unacceptable!!!

The cleanliness was top notch. I’m super picky about cleanliness and it didn’t disappoint. You could smell the clean when we walked in. I check our beds (for bed bugs/stains). There wasn’t any. The free bottles of water were nice to have. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The pools were clean. The staff was super friendly and attentive. We loved that we could walk out the back door and there was a walkway to the beach. We didn’t have the leave the premises. Access to pools, the beach, Starbucks (yum), & places to dine! This was a perfect little getaway for us! We will be back!

Our room didn’t have towels upon arrival and the sink was clogged. We took a shower and found the bathroom had cockroaches in the shower and under the sink. We went down to the front desk to notify them only to be told they’re sorry to hear that. Later that night while trying to sleep we heard them moving in our room and turned on the lights to find them crawling all over our luggage. I went down to the lobby with one in hand and demanded a refund and change of room. Only then did they offer to rectify our problem.

I liked the property, and staff were helpful. My room was run down, the door was hard to open and shut. Door locks were in disrepair. Picture window was so dirty, you could barely see through it. And the body wash provided was empty. Lets just say it could have been so much better.

From the time we arrived until we left , our stay was wonderful! Parking was close and easy and the hotel location was in easy walking distance of so many dining and shopping options. The staff were friendly and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable and the air conditioning worked great!! The views were beautiful and the beach access was perfect. Overall I would highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again.

The room was an older room that needed updates. The air conditioner made noise all night. The shower drain was clogged and wouldn’t drain well. There was no hand soap in the bathroom on arrival. The room was across the hall from one of the restaurants, so it was noisy at times. Made for a long few days. Outside, the pool was great & the restaurant/bar next to the pool had great pina coladas & food!

Our room was not available until 45 minutes after check-in time, we had to wait in the lobby with a bunch of other people whose rooms were not ready. The AC in the room barely worked and was very hot in the summer. At the amount that I paid I should have gotten a room in their new tower 2. Instead I got a very dated room in their old tower. Not even the ice machine worked on my floor! Spend your money elsewhere.

Our room with a view was not worth the extra money because we had to endure the pool crowd and not able to go to sleep until it cleared out. It was not the usual serene view of the ocean and sound of the waves. Otherwise, the room was comfortable and clean.

The room was very comfortable. The a/c worked it kept the room cool and it was quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The maid service was very good. They were prompt at getting us fresh towels and the room was clean. What I didn't like was the asking for a review when we had not even completed our stay. The safe didn't work and it took over 24 hours for that to be repaired. Just a change of batteries! Not all the curtains were hung. We did not have privacy curtains and I asked for some. We never received them. Because of this I gave the staff & service 4 stars for not repairing the safe faster. It took 2 request. Also 4 stars for not having the privacy sheers. I requested them but they were never hung in the 2 days we were there. The location on the beach is scenic The staff at the outside bar is wonderful. Towels for the pool and showers to rinse off after being on the beach. Many good restaurants and souvenir shops in walking distance. Also Fort Pickens an interesting history visit.

What I liked was that we had a beach front balcony with a view and had access to the neighboring pool that had a lazy River. This location had onsite parking and has easy access to beach!!! Plenty of restaurants that were walking distance and a grab and go in the lobby. The down fall was that they were in the process of switching out all the mattress in the hotel. This caused a 3 hr delay in us being able to check in since we had to wait for our room and the elevators were tied up with them using both elevators to remove mattresses. This was for the duration of our 2 night stay. The plus was the new mattresses were very comfortable and now the rest of the room can use an update, such as lamps and lampshades. The lobby was very clean and beautiful now the rooms just need to match that vibe!

This hotel was the worst I’ve ever stayed at. First, they put us in a room where the phones did not work, then they moved us to an upgraded room where the phones worked but nobody ever answered. The one time someone answered, they never brought the toothbrush I requested, and told me I had to come down to retrieve laundry detergent. We were on the 14th floor. How relaxing to have to go to the front desk every time you need something on vacation! I might as well have been an employee!

My grandson had an allergic reaction the day we arrived. . We were at the hospital all day. The Dr. told us if he wasn't better in the morning, he'd be admitted. We left that night. The front desk manager, Leah Kocke, was very sympathetic and gave us a full refund. Without hesitating!!! I needed that!! We made it home safe and my grandson is doing so much better. Leah, you have no idea what your generosity did for my sanity. ❤️ muchbetter.idbetter.sd.

Rarely do I leave reviews but due to the list of issues I came across during my stay I will share my experience. First issue : check in is 4pm for all guest my room was not ready until 440pm ,after a 9 hour drive this did not sit well with me. I literally walked into the Hilton lobby and it looked like a airport where peoples flights had been canceled. Second issue : After waiting 40 mins , I was stuck waiting for the lady to locate my reservation that took another 10 mins, not only that she did not welcome me , speak to me tell me anything just handed my room key and told me my room number. Third issue : overcharged a 1 time pet fee 3 times . Forth issue : no hot water for 2 days Fifth issue : no mattress on pull out couch Six issue : had to wait another 4 hours for them to bring bedding for pullout couch. Seventh issue: front desk forgot to bring us extra towels and coffee had to call to remind them twice. That is not everything, but I'm limiting this post . Hilton in Pensacola beach is no longer luxury its gone down hill and very short staffed.

While the age of the hotel definitely is showing, the location, service, and views definitely make up for it. Truly a relaxing stay that was very much needed. Fur now beware of the road construction in front of the hotel. It made where to turn in confusing and caused traffic delays.

Perfect location, steps away from crystal clear and snow-white sand. The Hilton has everything an adult or child would need, on site Starbucks with every pastry you can think of, pool side food and drinks, and for a more formal meal onsite restaurant. Every morning buffet breakfast is available, do yourself a favor and add it when booking your stay! The staff went above and beyond always smiling and quick to help with any concerns. The yacht, boat and dolphin tours are only a 13 minute walk away. Great restaurants are even a shorter walk. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful location!

Room service was awful...food was terrible and orders were incomplete. $64 breakfast ! We ate 2 hours later better at Native Cafe for $32 including tip! Construction on site, older hotel. Coffee bar had a nothing but old and undesirable pastries in a refrigerated case that made everything soggy...Room was great and overlooking the Gulf & Sound so fireworks were killer but maid was pounding on the door at 11:01am New Years Day incessantly to get us off property. Kind of not really a Hilton Experience in out opinion....

Great location. Unfortunately, pool bar was closed. Hot Tub was broken. Ice machine was broken. We couldn't get glasses to save our lives (tried 3X). So, overall great location and proximity to beach. Hotel itself needs some help and better service.

Great stay. Easy access to beach. Room was spacious and beautiful view of coast. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was not ready at 530 when we checked in. They comped us breakfast for one day when I asked. Buffet breakfast was good, but would not pay to have. (I think it was over $20/person) Pool was great. There needs to be more bins to throw towels in (used piles of towels laying around) Overall we would stay here again.

Great check in View from room great. Lotion in bathroom barely hanging. Deep scratch bathroom door. My floors ice machine not working Service at salt was great. My flatbread was great. Husbands burger not cooked to temp ordered fries were not hot. We ate it though as it was still good and we were hungry. Liked the pool options and gym ! All staff was friendly. Will stay again.
