It’s a very old property located behind a gas station. The vending machines were dirty. The elevator was very slow to arrive. The check-in was virtual through a monitor. It was off-putting and cold. The laundry room was old and dirty. The room was ok but overall it’s a very depressing vibe. Would not recommend.

This hotel has no staff that you can talk to, even during the day. All interaction is with a robot in the lobby that connects to a person in India, and the simplest requests are a challenge. The only ice machine I could find was unplugged, so no ice. The bathtub faucet drips constantly. The whole place smells terrible. Slightly above a homeless shelter.

The side door that leads to the pool area was jammed open, that breached the security for the hotel. It was not able to shut and open all night.

The place was under renovation and there was a strong smell of paint. Paint splatters and construction dust everywhere. Ice machines on all the floors not working. Did not have enough towels, some were brought up later. Not sure how i feel about a virtual check-in attendant, it may be a novelty but after a long drive having to deal with that was not welcoming. Over all, very dissapointing, will not stay again

The automated kiosk instead of front desk staff worked smoothly, but I would prefer an actual person. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, not great. The pool was adequately clean, not great. Neither the front or rear doors of the property were locked at any point during the night. I don't feel the property was secure. I also prefer having a person available to talk to for issues. Breakfast staff was friendly, food was marginal at best. Pool area was clean, but the pool itself was in tough condition and didn't appear clean.

We knew this was a "LOW BUDGET" Hotel, but... There was nobody at the front desk. We were greated by a video screen and an attendant that was difficult to understand. Initially, we were issued a room that had significant water damage on the ceiling, including mold growth. After bringing this to the attention (with photos) of the front desk video person. We were told that it wasn't THAT bad, and that we should keep the room. After we refused, they gave us another room that was in much better condition. Unfortunately, this process took time (<60 min). By then we decided that we would never go back to this establishment... regardless of the savings.

The room was clean, we checked in thru a machine which took little time, other than that we didn’t see any staff. Ice maker didn’t work, we didn’t find anyone to tell this or ask ice from… If you just want to sleep somewhere safe it’s perfect.

Smelled so gross. Got the room changed and second room was the same plus a very strong bleach smell. Very run down needs renovation. Smelled lick mold and sewer. The one person who came to investigate the first room didn’t greet or smile. Didn’t get all to me just talked to the guy on the screen. Very odd experience. I called twice after my stay in which we ended up leaving an hour after checking in because it was so gross and was told a manager would call back to discuss a refund. I never received a call or a refund and was extremely unhappy with my experience at this hotel. It was my birthday and we ended up in a gross hotel and had to drive home that night because my son was gagging and was having a hard time breathing in the room.

ROACH (photos) !! FLOOD IN MY ROOM FROM AIR CONDITIONING UNIT. (& to add insult to injury....NO REFUND AFTER WAITING 21 DAYS!) All I'll say is, after a flood in my room and roach, the Manager met with me and we talked in the hallway in front of my hotel room. I showed him the photo on my phone of the dead roach, and had him come into my room and into the bathroom. He apologized profusely & told me I would get a full refund. I told him I was DESERVING of the refund. Later that morning, I checked out at the KIOSK.... and they provided the bill to me, it was still showing 'payment in full' and charges on my credit card - so I told the Kiosk person in the box, that the manager was giving me a FULL REFUND due to the flood in my room and the Roach. I asked him to take the charges off right away. He told me he couldn't do that, and that I would see the reversed charges in 10-12 days 1) No refund. It's been 21 days. 2)) I called the Days Inn Sarasota today (21ST DAY). The Customer Service Rep answered my call & it was a bad connection with crackling on his headset. I told him he couldn't be heard. He fixed his headset, then said to me "What's your problem?" (Um, excuse me, but, is that how you address a client?) Calling Dept of Health asap

I stayed in room 219. The room was bare bones but that was to be expected so I didn't have an issue there. Cleanliness was the issue. The tube had moldy grout. The floor was sticky as if it were washed with dirty water. The curtians had a lot of black mold and my pillow case had blood stains on it. It looked like the person who changed the linen had a cut on their finger.

Worse place I ever stayed ! Virtual customer service. Don’t be fool pictures on line must be from when they first open the place is run down! Mold, roaches, blankets dirty! I ask for the blankets to be change they never did! Had to buy blankets for the beds to be able to sleep, Very noise

This was our first experience using the kiosk clerk and that was different. There was black mild on grout/sealant between tile and tub. In spite of A/C running almost constantly, the room smelled musty. Coffee at breakfast area doesn’t cut it.

Check in was simple with the kiosk. It was strange seeing no staff at the front desk. Checkout took about 10 minutes because the person before me had to have their room checked. (No staff) TV didn't have Fox 13, channel 13 said "FX" but had no actual video to watch. Tub was very slippery, like safety hazard slippery. No tub mat or anything to keep from slipping. HSKP woke me up a little after 9am, I had no DnD sign for the door. Bed was very comfortable, but it was really tall. It almost came up to my waist so climbing in/out was interesting.

This has to be the worst checkin experience ever. Have to talk via video conference to a person, goodness knows where they are. So slow, creepy almost and the connections keeps dropping out. Takes about 20 minutes, queue was out the door. Absolutely no one to talk to, call the numbers just goes dead. Wifi only worked one day for a few hours, then nothing. Unless you are desperate avoid at all costs, cancelled all forward bookings with Wyndham because of this.

It was so noisy people going in and out all hours in the back door. We heard loud music from the parking lot. Every time the back door shut our door shook like it was going to open so we had to put all the locks on to make sure it wouldn't open. The shower was dirty. One of the towels had a black stain on it, so we used it for a floor towel. The bed was so comfy and it was perfect for what we needed but I wouldn't recommend that room again to anyone.

Newly renovated. I only saw 2 human employees during my 3 night stay. Front desk was "automated" (like on Zoom). Room did have desk, fridge, microwave, and (inconveniently) placed safe. No closet or drawers, just hangars and hooks.

Something was horribly wrong with the AC/ventilation in our room. It was set at 62 when we entered which is entirely too cold. I set it at 72, and within an hour, everything in the room was damp. The floors were wet and slippery and got worse through out the night. There was no one working the front desk (we checked in using a virtual agent), so there was no one available to help. By morning all of our possessions were damp - including our clean clothes. I slipped on the wet floor walking to the bathroom. It was a nightmare. In addition to that, the overwhelming smell of weed was in the lobby and hallways.

Was very disappointed in the entire experience. There is no staff except housekeeping on site at this hotel. Everything is done virtually through a computer screen. I had requested (via the online check-in offer) early check in and late check out. When I went to check in, I was informed that both were denied because "housekeeping wasn't ready and wouldn't agree to making a room available". Then an individual came in behind me and checked in early. When I checked in at 3pm (normal check in), a different staff member remarked "Oh, I see you requested early check in but decided to wait until the regular check in time". I had to explain to her what happened. The room was okay. No storage/close area for clothing. Then, overnight, each time one of us went in to use the bathroom, there were bugs on the floor. Not just once, but EVERY time (at least 4-5 times overnight) and I have no idea what type of bugs they were, but at that point, we were done. We checked out the next morning, cancelling our additional nights and went to a different hotel. When I informed the individual I checked out with (again via computer screen), he made no attempt to rectify the situation or offer me any kind of compensation for our experience. I will never recommend this establishment to anyone.

This was an odd stay as we never saw any worker at this hotel except for the woman who cleaned up the breakfast. Our room was cleaned each day, and it was relatively clean, but the toilet paper holder was off the wall and placed on the back of the toilet when we arrived and when we spoke to the man on the screen he set up a time for someone to fix it the following day at 9:30, which no one showed up. Then eventually a time to fix it came up when we weren’t there and they asked for permission and they did fix it. The hairdryer did not work, which was a bit problematic since my cousin and I both have long hair, but we dealt with it. We felt we got what we aid for on this short trip, so I gave it a three rating. We felt unsupported on our stay, no extra towels or wash clothes, but it was a place to sleep that was comfortable each of the four nights, and that is appreciated.

How can they outsource hospitality? There was a woman at the desk, but I had to check in with a computer screen with a person , I think in India, talking to me. It was absurd. I hate the lack of human interaction. The bed was comfortable enough, but the sheets seemed stained. I think/hope that they were stained and not dirty, they smelled ok. There was a light in the room with no way to turn it on and the shade on the window was stuck in the halfway down position. There was no way to roll it up or down. I just needed a place for the night so it was ok. That tele check in was the worst. Also had to check out like that. I don't like it at all.

There are no humans at check in, a machine in the lobby greets you, issues your keys all remotely from India, it didn't feel safe let alone I called the empty front desk from our room to ask for extra pillows, was told ok 5 min an hour later they arrived from a man from another property they run, we missed our dinner reservations waiting on the pillows

Terrific price for being so close to siesta key beach! I would definitely stay here again.There wasn't anything that I was concerned about. The pool was very clean and the rooms were nice. The Check-in process was new to me as they do it via a kiosk with an image of the person checking you in on a screen on the other end but it was easy.

Property could use some updates but overall it was clean. The air conditioner in our room was held together with silver tape. The bathroom door did not latch. The only staff member onsite was housekeeping and they seemed friendly. It was just off the interstate which made travel easy and there are quite a few restaurants in the area including a Burger King, Subway and 7-11 just across the parking lot.

The place was nothing to write home about but we weren’t there for luxury. We were not expecting the breakfast. It was quite nice. The video check in was odd and somewhat laughable. I called my family into the lobby to watch the show. They were not as entertained as I was. The place was clean but as with any aging accommodation, fading glory was evident. It was fine for 2 nights and staff was very nice.

The future is here! When i arrived, i was greeted by a digital kiosk instead of a human being! The hotel has implemented an innovative system to interact with guests. There is no person behind the desk. The digital kiosk has a screen and that is how you see the person checking you in. It also has a camera so the Attendant can see you too. You scan your Driver's License and credit card on the kiosk; and in the end you get your receipt. The whole experience is like out of a science-fiction movie. The hotel is behind a Burger King and a 7-Eleven. Across the street is a Waffle House and a Wendy's. Finally, there are an Applebee's and a Wawa 5 minutes away.

Needed to use a “virtual assistant” to check in, there is no staffed front desk. Four cops arresting someone outside when we checked in. Cheap and room is decent if you can put up with a little riff raff

Need to add some protein. Hard boiled eggs would’ve been a nice option or even some sausage links. It’s advertised as a deluxe breakfast and it was far from deluxe! Room was nice and clean. Smelled like marijuana in the hallways a few times. Very hard to understand the people on the virtual check in and check out. Very frustrating.

Pros- Good continental breakfast. They had yogurt, waffles, muffins, fruit and hot coffee all day. The room was good size and the bed was comfortable. Beaches are a short drive from hotel. Cons- The hotel carpet and common areas smelled of weed and mold. But once you got to the room everything was A-ok.
