This is a beautiful hotel with a very good breakfast. The only negative was both elevators were broken for days and it was very much an inconvenience. Other than that, it was a good stay. The staff was nice.

The only short comings were the lack of ways to hang wet towels, bathing suits, etc. In the room. A few well placed wall hooks would be great. Also, no clock in the room. Breakfast buffet was great, staff is wonderful, decor is artsy and fun, pool, sauna, etc were clean. Convenient location and great rates. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, will come again, but those minor conveniences would be appreciated and certainly make it a 10 rating.

Rooms were clean… room staff was very accommodating! Breakfast was consistent. Issues of concern: 1) Attempted to order a salad at the bistro for dinner within the designated timeframe and we were told they were out and there was only pizza available. Attempted to order the same salad the following evening within the designated timeframe and we were told the same thing. Change the menu if pizza is the only thing you offer! To call it a bistro with a menu is quite deceiving! 2) Given the days of our stay were quite hot, the pool was never empty. The pool was nice, although the towels were not replenished regularly. This was a hassle. 3) Used the weight training/ exercise facility all the days we stayed. The first day, the television did not work. I was told someone would try and fix the problem. It never worked during our entire stay. Also, after spending time much time in the exerciser area, some things became quite apparent. It was very dirty, rarely cleaned! I would return the next day or evening only to find nothing was cleaned. And, no wipes to clean equipment. Gross!

Really unique hotel compared to the other generic airport hotels. Staff were lovely. Restaurant/bar and gift shop were a bonus. Felt very safe here. The a/c in my room was a little loud and I had to use earplugs but that is only a ting complaint. I would stay here again, albeit maybe a different room.

The service is great especially Tyler who goes above and beyond to make you feel special and like at home. However, I encountered two roaches in the room which was concerning and surprising since I've stayed at this property multiple times in the past and never had any issues like this.

We liked staying here, great location near everything we wanted to do. The hotel is beautiful and very modern. My only complain and what I think I am the only person who has experienced this is that my room was dirty, the bed had multiple woman hair, the bathroom was not properly cleaned. I had to clean the room before I used it, I went downstairs when we got to the hotel at night and asked if we can get clean sheets so that I can change them myself, but the lady in the counter told me that I would have to wait until the morning when the cleaning ladies came.

The room was poorly designed with the bathroom sink as part of the bedroom. The room, in particular the bathroom as well as one of the beds, smelled like urine. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and sometimes didn’t work.

Still trying to figure this hotel out. Definitely not as nice as the pictures present. We had paid for a balcony but it had no chairs to even enjoy it, so not recommend paying for that upgrade. The bathroom is in the room- it’s not a separate room. You can’t close the door on the toilet AND the open shower it’s one or the other so with more than two guests it is awkward.they also charged my card twice said it was an error I am still waiting for my refund. Probably wouldn’t stay again.

Hotel was new or newly remodeled. Very clean and in good shape. They decided to not use wall coverings, leaving exposed concrete walls and ceilings. Room with desk was a room with a 14 inch shelf and a patio chair. No microwave, coffee, or iron in the room.

Ok for a 2 night stay. Free breakfast. Friendly staff. Room a/c was noisy and neither elevator was working so everyone had to take the stairs. I would maybe stay here again. Nice rooms.

I had high hopes for this hotel but our hot water literally only worked the first night, we were there for three nights. Also, didn’t realize the shower and the toilet room share one sliding door, so if two people are in the room one person can only do one thing at a time. Limited privacy when on the toilet. Sink is next to the bed. Just not an ideal layout for people sharing a room but other than that we had a fine time.

This room was booked for 2 employees, 2 queen beds. However, there is NO BATHROOM PRIVACY! There is a sliding door that either is in front of the toilet room or the shower and there is NO bathroom door at all, it's just a curtain. Not sure when privacy became 'so last year'.

The room was very noisy at all times. We were on the top floor. There was a motor above us, on the roof?, that ran non stop. The bathroom vent fan sounded like a diesel engine was running it. The air conditioning unit was extra loud.

I expected something special. It was not. Only one elevator worked which resulted in long delays and there was an issue eith housekeeping. We checked in on Sunday and they arranged for cleaning at 11am Wednesday. By 12:30 they had not arrived. When they did come they claimed they were yelled at so they did not clean the room at all. Service was average at best. I was disappointed that the experience did not meet my expectations.

Despite all the good reviews that I saw before coming to this hotel, reality wasn't that great. No microwave oven or coffee maker in rooms (description mentions the opposite) No room service or cleaning unless you ask ONE DAY IN ADVANCE. Was there for four nights and never could get my room cleaned. I had to get towels and everything at the desk. No complementary breakfast (standard breakfast is $7)

We booked two rooms online. My co-worker arrived earlier in the day. when we arrived they checked us in. But the front desk person looked confused. She provided us with key cards and 4 times the card would not work to allow us access to the room. The manager came to the room and his FOB would not work. They assigned us another room. It turns out they tried to put us in the same room as my co-worker. I took the time to provide the name of my co-worker on his reservation. they collected his ID at check-in but did not pay attention and put him in under my reservation.

The hotel was nice but staff were not friendly, with one exception. We did decide to eat at the hotel. One staff member told us they had bar food. When we asked for a menu, there was only frozen pizza and once we received our bill, we were not happy. We could have ate at a nice steakhouse for cheaper. There were also some extra fees from the hotel that were not on the listing. Needless to say, we will not being staying here again.

Nice place to stay, but be prepared to pay for every little thing, including getting the room cleaned if you’re there for more than a couple days. Also, there is no coffee maker in the room, unless you PAY an additional fee to have it.

This really was a great place to stay for the wildly low price. The only thing negative I could really say about this place. It’s not really near much of anything except the airport. Or I guess it is close to that Ringling Brothers museum, though I have no interest in that. But in terms of the neighborhood or anything like that, you’re not really within walking distance of anything. There’s a nice park about a half mile south if you feel like going for a walk somewhere. But no stores or anything like that. But as far as the hotel itself, it was clean, service was friendly and helpful, and the hot tub was great. Breakfast buffet is far better than average for a hotel breakfast, but unless you have some kind of hotels.com gold benefits or something, they want to charge seven dollars for it. Which actually would be a pretty good deal, though I was lucky enough to get it for free.

The hotel has a unique, attractive design and atmosphere. Similarly, the rooms have an industrial architecture that really stands out. The essential oils used to create the overall aroma within the hotel smells amazing (I ordered some from Amazon). Also, the staff is attentive and I was lucky enough to get a free pizza sample while hanging out in the lobby. The hotel itself is quite sound proof as you could barely hear the planes at the nearby airport. Definitely a pleasant experience :)

We have stayed here several times, the location is great! Close to beaches, downtown, restaurants, Ringling Museum and shopping. Breakfast is worth the adding to your stay. Will continue to book with Kompose in future trips

I will definitely comeback to this hotel. The area neighborhood is very safe. The staff is excellent they goes above a beyond their duties, breakfast is nice. The Ringling museum is close by you can actually walk there. The rooms were very clean and very quiet. So much stuffs to do in Sarasota like going to the beach nice places to eat different places to do shopping

Had a great time. Large, clean, comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. The hotel is not in a picturesque location, but it is very close to the Ringling complex and the theater I was performing in during the Squeaky Wheel Fringe Festival, and literally right around the block from the Airport. It's very easy to get an Uber and they arrive in minutes. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is close to the Sarasota airport, about 10 minutes from downtown Sarasota, and 20 minutes from Lido Beach. The lobby smelled wonderful upon entry, like a spa, and the rooms are GREAT. Urban chic with lots of storage. Very friendly staff, from concierge to housekeepers. Wonderful drinks at bar. Appetizers were average but they need to work a bit on breakfast. Oatmeal was cold 2 days in a row and eggs were so-so, but the Belgian waffle was a hit. A couple of downsides are that only one of the two elevators was working, there was no ice on 5th floor, no iron in room that I could find, and no coffee in the room. Even so, the room really was fabulous and the bed is super comfy. I'd stay here again but probably pass on the food.

Love the bed, linens, very clean and comfortable. Love the shower though be careful coz the drain is right below the shower and it's not flushed to the ground and can cause an accident. There are no drawers to hide your clothes but it's no biggie. There is only 1 functional elevator for the whole building so it can be a wait. Love the selection for the breakfast buffet. For the price, I would definitely go back.
