Breakfast is great, 24 hour coffee is great, the bar is not a bar, the pool is not heated, the location is really good. Close to Busch gardens, zoo, downtown depending on traffic. You do have to pay daily for parking, but pretty normal for everywhere in Tampa. Elevators are really scary and slow. We had to open the doors ourselves a couple times. We mentioned it at the front desk & they said, oh ya, they do that some times. We also told the maids to stay out of our room, that we were good& they came in when we were gone anyway.( we have a lot a medications that we have had problems with before so we just don't like anyone in). All the staff at the front desk were very helpful from directions, discounts or any questions we had.

They have their own general parking lot. They then charged $14 to park in their own parking. Everything you ask they would not do if you were not part of their loyalty program. I will not be going back.

The property was lovely. Clean and modern. Breakfast was typical for an included breakfast. The bar was not as expected, just a small counter space with limited options but good enough. There is no on site restaurant which was a surprise. They offer a small limited "menu" of coices like a wrap or warm cookies.

The pool wasn’t clean from previous evening and the pool cleaner was still in the pool. The pool area should have been cleaned prior to guest being to use it which was 8am in the morning. Our overall stay was good. I would visit again.

Outside of the blg looks nothing like the pic. It’s very worn down and dated. Also directly next to train tracks (never heard a train so don’t know if an active track or not). Area doesn’t look great and I wasn’t even comfortable leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. My room was non refundable so couldn’t cancel, but I definitely would have if I had seen area and blg in person first. Room wasn’t very clean. Sticky stuff on bathroom floor and crumbs on the carpet. Fixtures were updated, but the walls, hallways, building itself is very old and worn. Staff was nice and breakfast was great. I definitely think the outside picture is very misleading. It makes it look much nicer than it is. I will not stay at this hotel or in this area again

Hotel is dated. I saw roaches in the hallway. Try not to stay on 1st floor it is NOISY!!! VERY NOISY! WILL NOT ever stay again. Breakfast buffet was ok. Staff were very friendly.

The check in was good and quick. Unfortunately at 1:30 am a car alarm started going off. It continued to go off almost every hour, along with going off for 2 hours from 4:30-6:30. There were ants on the floor between the beds, we didn’t have food in the room, so not sure where they came from.

Overall it was pretty good. The Bathroom is really small where the toilet and bath are. The water pressure sucked to take a shower, didn’t matter the time of day you took a shower. The toilet in our room just randomly wouldn’t flush at times.

Looked nice on the outside. Underneath all the "Lipstick" was a Pig of a run down old building. Thin walls, doors that dont open or close, filthy carpets, phones that do not work in rooms. We had 2 adjoining rooms as we brought the kids. The adjoining door would not open. We were moved from initial rooms because the front desk woman didn't know what adjoin rooms meant AND she used profanity while my whole family was standing at the desk and laughed about it. How unprofessional. The phone in my room was unfixable and was told I wouldnt have a phone for my stay of 4 days. Bottom line is" Rooms are NOT worth what your paying. There were good things as well. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of options and very clean. The staff was generally quite helpful and nice(minus profanity girl). The free hotel transit to Busch Gardens was great and will save you from paying $35 parking fee at the park. I probably wouldn't stay here again because they just don't stand out or above any other like priced hotel. The proximity to BG was great though. Their biggest downfall is the broken rooms. It was too much to overlook.

Only downside is the area is noisy, I was woken multiple times in the night by a sound of banging metal and noisy cars, my mother in law said a local stopped them in the car park on the way back from tea and warned them.to not be walking about outside in the evening as the area is not safe. The hotel is ideal for Busch Gardens.

The only complaint I had was regarding the lack of a curtain or something thicker to cover the windows - the window only had a thin shade over it, so when the sun came up at 6something, the room was lit up bright, which woke us all up and we couldn't get back to sleep. Book a room that is not facing the east if you like to sleep past sunrise.

Brejianna was professional, kind, and courteous. I truly appreciate her energy, professionalism, southern hospitality and for exuding knowledge and confidence in her workplace's policies and procedures as well as promoting of rewards program that benefits me the customer. After disembarking from our cruise, we arrived at the hotel before 9am. When I was unsure if we could check in that early, but hoping I could, she immediately offered to store our bags as well as signed me up for a rewards program to which it allowed us to check-in early. Considering our check-in was at 3pm, I was elated! She pointed me to the free breakfast that was still being served and was just a great help with my questions. I am grateful to her as I have NEVER experienced early check-in ever so to Bree, as she referred to herself, THANK YOU!!!!! YOU DESERVE A PROMOTION! Also, the room is nice. Very spacious. Breakfast was delicious as well. Dinner at Yuengling Drafthaus was delicious.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful. My son has special needs, and in addition to being extremely kind to him, they helped me keep an eye on him while I was checking in and out and purchasing soda. I was very, very impressed with the customer service!

We recently stayed at Hyatt Place Tampa Busch Gardens to celebrate a birthday weekend, unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were reassured by the front desk (specifically someone named Greg) that our late arrival wouldn't be an issue and that our reservation would be notated accordingly. Despite our proactive communication, we were still charged for the first night, even though we clearly communicated that we wouldn’t arrive until the next day. Upon arrival, the front desk staff claimed that the charge was necessary to "hold the room" and that we should have called if we wanted to modify the reservation—but we did call, multiple times. The lack of consideration and unwillingness to accommodate a guest under these circumstances was both frustrating and disappointing. To make matters worse, the stay itself did not live up to any expectation of what you’d expect from a Hyatt-branded property—let alone one carrying the Busch Gardens name. The breakfast was bland and unappetizing, with little flavor or variety. The elevators and hallways had a noticeable odor, and the carpets throughout the halls and in our room were stained and in need of a deep cleaning.While the proximity to Busch Gardens is a plus, that is the only thing this hotel has going for it. We would not recommend this location and definitely will not stay here again. Not a great stay.

The staff was outstanding. So nice and accommodating, super helpful about the area. It was not in the greatest area HOWEVER, it was so stinking close to Busch Gardens and everything you wanted so close by you can't argue. It's also tucked away, and that was nice.

Outside of the blg looks nothing like the pic. It’s very worn down and dated. Also directly next to train tracks (never heard a train so don’t know if an active track or not). Area doesn’t look great and I wasn’t even comfortable leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. My room was non refundable so couldn’t cancel, but I definitely would have if I had seen area and blg in person first. Room wasn’t very clean. Sticky stuff on bathroom floor and crumbs on the carpet. Fixtures were updated, but the walls, hallways, building itself is very old and worn. Staff was nice and breakfast was great. I definitely think the outside picture is very misleading. It makes it look much nicer than it is. I will not stay at this hotel or in this area again

Hotel serves a purpose and it you want a good hotel near to USF or Busch Gardens then this is a very good choice. Loads of parking and decent seized rooms but the whole place is in desperate need of a makeover. Staff were all very helpful.

I was visiting a friend at the cancer hospital that was near. The room was nice, clean and quiet. I’d recommend this hotel to someone in the same situation. Priced right, convenient and quiet.

Breakfast was good for a free meal, staff were friendly and parking was easy. The rooms are spacious and clean. Only downside is the area is noisy, I was woken multiple times in the night by a sound of banging metal and noisy cars, my mother in law said a local stopped them in the car park on the way back from tea and warned them.to not be walking about outside in the evening as the area is not safe. The hotel is ideal for Busch Gardens.

Breakfast is great, 24 hour coffee is great, the bar is not a bar, the pool is not heated, the location is really good. Close to Busch gardens, zoo, downtown depending on traffic. You do have to pay daily for parking, but pretty normal for everywhere in Tampa. Elevators are really scary and slow. We had to open the doors ourselves a couple times. We mentioned it at the front desk & they said, oh ya, they do that some times. We also told the maids to stay out of our room, that we were good& they came in when we were gone anyway.( we have a lot a medications that we have had problems with before so we just don't like anyone in). All the staff at the front desk were very helpful from directions, discounts or any questions we had.

We only stayed one night. The hotel is conveniently located across the highway from The University of Southern Florida. It is close to several restaurants and shops. They offer discount tickets and shuttle service to Bush Gardens. The rooms are clean, recent upgrades and plenty of space. The employees are friendly, kind and happy. The included breakfast was perfect!

The property was lovely. Clean and modern. Breakfast was typical for an included breakfast. The bar was not as expected, just a small counter space with limited options but good enough. There is no on site restaurant which was a surprise. They offer a small limited "menu" of coices like a wrap or warm cookies.
