Parking was tight, swimming pool wasn’t built for swimming, room & breakfast were average, staff was phenomenal, super friendly. Overall, an average hotel which served our purpose of providing a decent place to sleep.

Nice people at check in. Very OK hotel. Clean. Older property with a light remodel. Not sure how it’s gets an “excellent “ rating. Pool is tiny and in the parking lot. Gym is a closet with one treadmill and one peloton and medicine balls. Rooms are ok. It is 7 min drive to airport.

Good option for a quiet area located west of the Tampa airport. Reception staff are very helpful. Several good hot and cold choices for the included breakfast. Walkable distance to a few nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner, such as Bahama Breeze, Aqua (in Westin Hotel), Whiskey Joe’s. Beds were very comfortable. Bathroom fixtures worked well but are showing their age. Upon arrival at airport we contacted the hotel and the requested shuttle came to meet us very quickly. Shuttle pickup at the hotel must also be requested and only occurs at the top of the hour.

I booked this hotel for its proximity to the airport and the free airport shuttle. Called prior to stay to ensure room was held due to extremely late arrival. Hotel staff I spoke to was pleasant but told me the shuttle only was available until 10pm. Totally understood but was assured that it would be available for early departure back to airport. Desk staff was not very friendly upon late arrival. The following morning I spoke to desk staff to reserve the airport shuttle due to early flight on Sunday. I was told that it would be available at 5:30am. Unfortunately he did not tell me that it only ran on the hour so it was not available. Desk staff was again not very friendly and was unapologetic when I explained that I was told it would be available for a 5:30am departure. Maybe it should be clarified that it is hourly in their description. Hotel staff that handled breakfast service was very friendly and efficient. I have stayed at other Hampton Inns with no issues, but will not stay at this particular location again.

Clean hotel, with cozy atmosphere and rooms. Staff was very kind and friendly. Rooms were spacious, and complimentary breakfast was a big plus! Location is safe and minutes away to International plaza and the airport. I will definitely come back to this hotel again

Property seems older, check in was quick, clerk was friendly and nice. Gave us a corner/end room which was nice having two little boys. Room seemed a little smaller, carpet was damp and dirty. After playing and running around, little boys feet were dirty and black. It was ok for a night before early morning flight.

Dirtiest most beat up room I’ve ever stayed in. Gross stains on the night stand, hairs in the shower, bug killer residue in all corners of the bathroom, stank like urine. Room was also beat up.

It was pretty standard Hampton Inn, squeezed into an odd lot on Rocky Pointe, but close to Raymond James stadium for a concert, which was the main reason. Only irritating thing was the darkening drapes did not cover the entire length of the window so the light came into the room way too early!!

I am hesitant to rate the hotel a 5 due to the first room I was given. Room 106 (and probably 108) be should be given to the people who check in last. 106 is the first room off the lobby and directly across from the elevators. Very noisy with people checking in late into the night. I had asked to be moved and was not accommodated. The following morning I spoke to Rolanda, front desk clerk, and explained the situation telling her I had an 8-hr drive the next day and could not stay in 106. At first she said it was a sold out hotel for that night and couldn’t do anything. I replied that I didn ‘t know a reservation gave you a specific room. She said she would speak to the manager. After having “breakfast”, she stopped me and said I would be moved. I thanked her. A good night’s sleep and when I checked out Rolanda was on the desk and I thanked her again. The hotel should really think about giving out room 106 only in the evening.

We had a lovely 2 day stay here whilst on a road trip around Florida. A special mention has to go out to Tyler on reception, he was really friendly and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. He was very helpful in directing us to a local supermarket as well so I could get some superglue to fix my glasses. A credit to the company. The rooms were great with comfy beds and it was nice and peaceful. There is a very good Bahama Breeze restaurant across the parking lot and a couple of other restaurants in the near vicinity. There is good parking and the breakfast was great for a simple start to the day with hot food, cereals, porridge and waffles! It's only a short Uber ride (15 mins) into Tampa Bay and I'd recommend The Riverwalk in Tampa to stretch your legs. This is an ideal location for a decent hotel without paying the crazy prices in the city.

Check in was shambolic. Many guests arrived at 3 pm some rooms not ready. I reserved 3 rooms only 2 ready until we returned later in evening. Inconvenient. AC in room LOUD. Beds comfortable. Insufficient seating for breakfast. Breakfast was highlight.

our stay both times before and after our cruise was absolutely outstanding except for 1 thing. On the day we were to check out, housekeeping came into our room 2 times with us in there. The second time my husband was in his underwear, had just been naked and we told them we would be in there until 11:00 AND had the sleep sign on our door!! Manager told us they would make it right with us by giving us points but have not gotten that email yet so not sure they are going to do anything aboutit. . .

The place was a pleasant stay. There were a couple issues but was quickly addressed. But, the customer service and extreme courtesy of the front desk staff Ashley and and the Manager Katie was comforting . Location! Location! Location! The hotel is placed near a great restaurant. Our room was close to an exit door and the ice machine! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The television worked easily! The bathroom was well appointed. Parking was abundant!

I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. The only thing that was extremely poor was the continental breakfast. But it is what it is, normally this type of breakfast is a hit or miss. I was looking forward to a similar one to Hyatt or Holiday Inn, plus there was no bacon, but the service was top notch, and the hotel was clean. We were on the first floor close to the entrance and were still able to sleep well through the night. I would recommend. We loved the free parking and the walkable distance to Bahama Breeze.

This particular Hampton Inn felt like there was a whole different entity running it, pinching pennies at every opportunity. Breakfast on thin paper plates, small and stale muffins, premade rubbery omelets. Room: a sliding barn door that weighs a ton and needs to be muscled back and forth across to cover either the bathroom or the closet. Broken TP holder and no makeup mirror, insufficient water pressure in shower to wash and rinse hair. Sink cracked and weak stream of water from faucet. So very unlike our dependable Hampton Inns.
