This property is absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The rooms are spacious and the pool/hot tub area is the best I've been to around this area. Not a lot of dining options but the gift shop has some small bites made by an amazing lady from Venezuela. Go visit her if you stop by and get some delicious food and drinks as well as small souvenirs. Highly recommended.

Paid extra for a pool view. Pool was completely green and shut down for re-construction. Have photos, pool view was literally worse than non-pool view. Should be refunded the add on cost.

Probably a 3,5 star hotel. Hotel is in Weston what is a really good and safe area nearby Sawgrass Mills outlet shopping mall. Hotel itself is a little bit outdated. Pool is huge and awesome. Gym is a joke - not a real gym (a couble of old treadmills etc.). A good parking area and barbecue area. Would stay again.

The location was peaceful, and the room seemed clean at first — but when you really look, it wasn’t. The corners were dusty, and if you ran your fingers along surfaces, they’d come back covered in dust. The towels I requested looked clean, but they smelled like someone else’s sweat. I even found hairs in them. I honestly feel like they reuse towels that “look clean” without washing them properly. The beds and pillows were also terrible. I’ve never stayed in a hotel with such low-quality mattresses and pillows. They felt like $20 products. I know IKEA sells better quality than that for cheap, so I don’t understand how a hotel with resort fees can’t provide decent sleep quality. Speaking of resort fees, there’s nothing resort-like here. Housekeeping isn’t daily, and even when I got extra sheets and pillowcases, I had to strip and remake the bed myself while the staff waited. That’s not hospitality. Also, the Wi-Fi didn’t work. I was told they had reliable internet, but it was so bad I couldn’t do my remote job — and I actually lost it. They told me to call the internet provider myself, which made no sense. TV didn’t work either — no Netflix or channels, even though it was advertised. One day, a cooking smell entered the room from who-knows-where. And why is checkout at 10 a.m. if there’s no proper cleaning service? This hotel has potential, but unless they improve cleanliness, beds, and internet, I wouldn’t return.

We left 24 hours before we were supposed to due to how dirty the room was. The floors had black spots everywhere, curtains were stained everywhere, it looked like blood splattered on the lamp shade, first all over the bath tub, shower had no pressure or hot water, and ice was left over from previous people. We felt dirty just sitting down because of the filth. It was too late after we got to the room to have someone clean it so I’d rather lose the money for the night and go somewhere else. Oh and after complaining they do not even apologize or get back to you. Not acceptable for a timeshare company. And the noise that comes from the floor above us is so loud you can’t sleep.

We are very dissapointed with our stay. At first everything seemed fine til we found a lizzard in our livingroom. The weather was perfect to sit at the balcony, but it was super dirty with cigarrets ashes. Recepcionists had bad customer service stating that we would have to comunnicate with hotels.com and we had no succcess. Please see photos.

Right next to a very loud highway, hard to sleep with the noise. Sitting on our room patio wasn’t an option due to the noise as well. We couldn’t hear each other speak. Nowhere near enough loungers or chairs on pool deck. If you aren’t there, waiting in line at 8am, you have no seat all day. Pool definitely beautiful and very large. Waterfall was nice as well. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The hotel is in a nice, peaceful location. I appreciated being on the 7th (top) floor because I didn’t hear any noise from other guests. That was a big plus. However, I really don’t understand why the beds and pillows were so bad. Most of the reviews mention it, and it’s true. I’ve never encountered such uncomfortable beds and cheap-looking pillows in a hotel before. They felt like something you’d buy for $20. Even the cheapest IKEA mattresses and pillows are better than this. It’s disappointing that a hotel charging resort fees can’t invest in proper sleep quality for its guests. Also, about that “resort fee” — I don’t see what it was for. There’s nothing that made this feel like a resort. The room was spacious, and overall the stay was peaceful. But I did get an unpleasant cooking smell in my room at one point, and I still don’t know where it came from. Another issue was the lack of proper housekeeping. They don’t clean daily unless you ask, and even then it’s minimal. I had to request extra towels and sheets, which they did bring, but I had to take everything off the bed and put the new ones on myself while the staff waited. Since when is that the guest’s job in a hotel? The TV didn’t work at all — no channels, no Netflix, even though they said it was included. And the Wi-Fi was terrible. I booked this hotel specifically because I was working remotely, and I lost my job because the internet here didn’t meet the minimum requirements. When I called for help, the hotel t

Though beds were firmer than I expected and lack of insulation between floors meant I could hear movement above my room and could hear the rushing of water of every known plumbing apparatus (sinks, showers, toilets, anything be used in another room's bathroom). Also, not sure why you need to exchange out a parking pass every day of your stay, should work on one parking pass per visit.

The area is nice and quiet with dining options and supermarket less than 10 mins away. The room was clean upon arrival, ac vents were dusty and dusty enough to be very noticeable. The bed was fairly comfortable, pull out sofa was horrible and creaky though, wouldn’t recommend it for anyone to sleep on. The exterior of the property was clean and well kept. Housekeeping apparently is only available for when you’re checking out, and you may have to walk and get change of towels and toiletries from the housekeeping building based on where you are staying. Overall, it wasn’t a horrible stay, it is a time share property though, so you may be asked to attend a presentation.

Cold Reception: Upon arriving at the property you will not be greeted. You will see 8-10 employees sitting behind a counter who will ignore you. You'll be on your own to figure out which of 3 different corded off lines you should stand in. Eventually, 10-20min if your lucky, one of the 8-10 employees will call you over, and likely tell you that you're talking to the wrong person or in the wrong line. Once you are able to 'check-in' you will be given key cards to your room. During my stay: Within 2hrs of reaching my room, a stranger was given the same room assignment and it took 3-4 hikes back and forth from the building to the reception area in the rain to finally sort out the issue. That night another stranger (accompanied by a resort employee) actually entered my room while i was asleep at approx 1am. Upon realizing the room was occupied they quickly retreated but this was beyond unprofessional. The next day I needed to venture out for food, but found my room key card had been deactivated and after yet another trip to reception, I was told that I was assigned the wrong room, and asked to move to a different room. I very begrudgingly complied with the ask that no more strangers be given my new room or enter it without my consent. I was offered assistance to move all my luggage to the new room, but noone ever showed up to help. This was by far one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered with a 'resort' property. Stay here at your peril.

The staff at the check in was very disinterested and was not welcoming at all. We stayed there for 3 nights and our room was not cleaned even once. We asked for towels 3 times and they mentioned that we need to be in the room for getting towels. We never had new towels for 3 nights. The hotel was quite spacious and the room was great, no issues with that. It was not worth the price they charged.

We booked this location expecting a great experience. Unfortunately, that was not what we received. Lets start with arrival, there was a line of about 8, while one of the staff set at the desk filing her nails. I get it, maybe she was off the clock. Any who, get to the desk, no information shared at all and sent on my way to get parking tag. Get to parking tag, where they try to drag you into their free lunches to sell you time shares and such. After turning him down several times, he rudely hands me the parking pass and walks away. I suppose angry I didnt budge. We get to our building, 1 elevator is working, long line of folks and about a 28 minute wait to get on elevator. The room, first impression walking in the room was very humid, smelled bad, dirty floors, you can tell these rooms are not cleaned well between visitors. Everything is outdated, which can be passable if it were clean. We go to pull the sofa-bed and theres TONS of food under neath it. If we could see it, i am sure the housekeeping staff has too. The floors were filthy. Hair, crumbs, you name it. But after a 30 hr drive we were tired and decided to just deal with it. Walked into the bathroom and it reeked with urine smell. I sprayed it down with disinfectant and tried to make the best of it. Called to report and was brushed off. The shower head is horrible, no pressure, Mold, black mold around the ENTIRE shower! Just horrible

Absolutely loved our stay here. Only thing we didn't like was the pushiness of staff to purchase a timeshare. When we didn't show to the lunch they offered for the presentation they called the room several times upset we didn't go. Other than that its very clean, modern, and comfortable.

Trip was a quick 2 night getaway from Tampa area to see the gators in the Everglades. The hotel/resort was nice the rooms clean and huge! Very close to Gator Boys Holiday Park. Many restaurants and shopping within 10 minute drive. Only negative was no coffee until 8am, and pretty much all activities at resort are done by 3pm. Who karaokes from 2pm-3pm only...LOL other than that would recommend!

Very good location, far from the traffic congestion. 15 minutes from Sawgrass Mall. The room is like the photo, the floor is a bit sticky. Cleaning is once a week and the toiletries are only for the first day. The kitchen is very well equipped. At check-in I was not lucky with who helped me, but the following days the people at the front desk were very friendly. They receive shipments free of charge.

Vacation Village is a classic timeshare vacation property. Classic in the sence that all that you expect is there, the pools, the gym, the deli, the hard sell tactics. Classic in the fact that it is tried and true, which means it has been in existance a few summers. With historical value comes an older property that is clean, but not new. My family and I visited Thanksgiving weekend. Staff was great and friendly. Parking was ample. There were laundry facilities throughout each floor but we did not use them. The pool was the best part. My 2.5 year old son loved the dedicated kiddy pool. I do wish there was more food and drink on the property but the gift shop was decent for lunch options. The rooms were spacious and I enjoyed cooking breakfast watching the cars go by on our balcony. We would visit again!

It’s a very nice resort overall. Everything is plain, old but clean. We only stayed there for one night, it was comfortable and clean. They charged us extra resort fee even though we appeared late at night and by 10am were already supposed to check out so obviously we wouldn’t use the facilities of the resort. We had a one bedroom suit with a little kitchen fully stocked with everything. It was a coffee maker but no coffee

Only spent 2 nights so didn’t really use the facilities so cannot comment on that. Price was great for having a condo type space. Having a microwave, full size fridge with ice maker and separate rooms instead of being in a single room hotel room was great. I would stay there again if the price remains good. Cons- no comp coffee/tea, washer/dryer, dishwasher, in the room like other timeshares. No tissues in the room. Bed squeaked. Location was okay as close to Sawgrass Mills Mall, but is a good 30 minutes to an hour drive depending on traffic to the beaches. Room could have been cleaner. A lot of dust and dirt in corners.
