Loved our stay at the Hilton Atlanta. Beware - the parking garage is a 6ft clearance and my GMC Yukon literally fit in with only a tiny bit of room. It was super scary getting in the garage and out but we were able to do it. Room was clean - elevators are SUPER packed. Sometimes we waited 15 minutes for an elevator. It's not as quick of a walk to the aquarium as you'd think and I wish we had stayed closer. But otherwise all was good. We did UberEats our dinner because we didn't find too much interesting around the hotel area.

Clean and convenient as expected. However, the mattress was one of the least comfortable that we’ve ever slept on. Also, my Toyota 4runner would not fit in their garage, it’s a 6 foot maximum height, vehicle garage. There’s a big parking garage right next-door, which worked out better, it was only $25/day to park there versus much higher at the hotel.

Parking in the garage was horrible. Even after my friend paid for nightly parking two days we drove around over an hour for a parking spot. We was told to go to the other lot and it was full as well.

I like how house-keeping was really proactive in keeping the rooms clean and restocked. Also, they have the best gym I have seen in a hotel. It seems small but has so many different equipment that allows you do varies exercises. I don’t like how the wifi is. The Wi-Fi is HORRIBLE. After day 2/4, the wifi wouldn’t even connect to my phone. Overall: a nice hotel stay.

The water pressure in the shower was terrible and we could barely shower! The TV remote was from the dinosaur era and wouldn’t work. They had 8 elevators and only 2 working so the wait times were ridiculous!! Lastly the parking prices were ridiculous, $40 to park every time.

It was okay. The shower did not have hot water, and there was a long hair in my mini fridge. That was gross, but I didn't need the refrigerator for the majority of my stay. I did see that some of the food in the market was 2 days past its expiration date, and the turkey sandwich was dry and the bread was hard.

Staff was friendly and helpful but we had to stand in line for 45 minutes to check in. They were under-staffed and the check in process took too long. Also, there was a pungent smell of Marijuana in the hallway every time we went out of our room. The room was comfortable and clean.

The room smelled strong of vinegar, there was a large clump of black hair on the floor, we dont have black hair, and there is a large water damage spot in the bathroom that concerned us of water damage from the room above. The elevators were not working properly most night and we had to walk up 11 flights of stairs.

Needs a serious renovation, the tile in the bathrooms have been updated but the tubs! Goodness the tubs were dirty and the linens smelled bad. The first room smelled like someone smoked 3 packs of cigarettes a day and they tried to deodorize the room but it made you want to throw up if you breathed in too deep. There was food from a past visitor on the floor. Dirty tub and towels under dirty pipes. Just nasty

The hotel needs some serious updating. Parking garage is wet and scary. I traveled with my husband but if I traveled solo I would be terrified going from the parking garage to the elevators. The front desk staff was pleasant enough. I went the weekend of a major concert so there was a significant delay getting checked in (understandably). The rooms are not up to par. Old carpet, gross bedding (mildew on sheets) bathroom also not the cleanest and dusty surfaces throughout the room . I ended up cleaning the room myself as there was no other hotel availability in the area. There is a large homeless population around the hotel area. Our first night we decided to walk to get dinner and encountered so many homeless people and many of them want to interact (yelling or begging). Overall I would not stay at this hotel again.

Subject: Urgent Concern – Bug Bites in Room 904 Hello, My name is Lizeth Schult, and I am currently staying in room 904. I need to report a serious concern: I have received two painful, burning bites — one on my leg and one on my arm — during my stay in this room. The bites are visibly red and irritated. Good things: clean, comfortable room. Great location (connecting to the MARTA was very convenient) Not so good things: Elevators were horribly inconvenient. Always at least a 20 minute wait due to elevators not working/running. You would think with 8 elevators things would move quickly, but there was always a long line that took forever because only 3 elevators seemed to work. If Hilton Atlanta is going to host large groups/gatherings of groups, then the elevators should at the very least be functional. The room was nice, but very outdated compared to other Hilton properties. The TV was not a smart TV which is basically unheard of with major hotel chains, our bathroom was incredibly small, and the shower temperature control handle fell off every time you tried to use it.

Unacceptable experience during my stay at the Hilton Atlanta from Friday, October 3, 2025, to Sunday, October 5, 2025. We checked in early and were assigned to a room. Later that same day, while our personal belongings were still in the room, the hotel allowed another guest to check into our room, deactivated our key, and granted them access to our belongings. This was a serious breach and I mean serious breach of security and privacy, and it caused significant inconvenience and distress during our stay. On top of a whole bunch more.

We originally had an issue with being put in a double room rather than a king, like I had booked and paid extra for. Wanja at the front desk was able to help and she absolutely made our stay to celebrate my birthday. So friendly and accommodating!

I originally thought my quilt had mildew stains, so i left a comment. The next day, Brian (a manager) came to my room personally with brand new quilts in the packaging, and explained that when the feathers in the quilt wear down, they give the appearance of stains by clumping up. These were supposed to have been removed from service, but fell through the cracks. He apologized promptly for my stress, and Ellie from housekeeping changed the whole bed. Having been in management most of my working life, i really appreciated the personal touch. I have never had a bad experience with a Hilton property, and it is because of swift reponses with resolution like Brian provided

The room is good but we had problems with them charging us 3 times several confusing amounts that were not the same as our stay. I went to the front desk several times and until now I'm trying to resolve the problem because they're still charging my bank! No one at the front desk knows what's going on. I'm very upset because what was supposed to be a good vacation has turned into a headache.

Property was really nice. Was disappointed that Hilton cancelled my reservation because I didn’t arrive by 6pm. After reviewing my order thru Travelocity showing them it said check in was from 4p to midnight and only recommended calling if we would arrive after 11p. After waiting for the clerk to speak to her manager they decided to reinstate my reservation :/

Its a nice hotel. This was my 2nd time staying there. The area is good cause its central to so many things, but the minute you walk out the doors youre hit in the face with the smell of weed and are dodging vagrants in front of the building. I was also really upset to see the great price i got was negated by a $40 self park fee.. i was there at 7 pm and left at 7 am the next day and was charged $40 to park. Hilton, you should be ashamed

Nice hotel. Stayed here a few times. The area around it is that it is. Downtown ATL is not what it used to be. Next time I will stay be Piedmont Park but if you have to be in this area, this is your hotel.

I had a really great time at the hotel. I would stay again since it’s close to many attractions like the State Farm Arena, the Aquarium, and such. The only downside was waiting for the elevators.

My stay at Hilton Atlanta was a nightmare, not a vacation. At check-in, I was told breakfast was included and the buffet ran until 11 am daily. For two mornings, I went at 10:30–10:40 with no issue. On day three, I arrived at 10:20, only to find the buffet closed early without warning. The waitress, called manager, who was dismissive and unhelpful, offering only a $33 per person menu credit — despite my reservation stating free breakfast. She repeated the same script, showing no care. Only after I said I’d escalate did the director of the front desk, step in. She apologized, gave market vouchers, and promised to resolve any charges. She was the only helpful person I encountered, but the experience had already ruined my morning. Days later, I found I’d been charged for breakfast anyway — despite repeatedly confirming it was included. I had to call Hilton, wait on hold for 51 minutes, and was told they “need to check with management” before possibly refunding me, which could take another five business days. This was supposed to be a relaxing trip, but Hilton’s poor service turned it into stress and frustration. I travel 2–3 times a year, often with Marriott, and have never experienced anything this careless. I will never stay at a Hilton again.

Our stay was peaceful. Lobby and front door can get very busy but its still good atmosphere. We enjoyed it! There were a couple restaurants within walking distance as well as some solid options within the Hotel.

Food was good , love the restaurants especially traders Vic’s , my own complain is the water pressure in the shower it goes from hot to cold no in between and the room can be alittle more updated , since it’s Hilton it should be . Overall I would come back it was convient to everything and everywhere(attraction wise)
