The staff was extremely kind, professional and all seemed willing to make sure our issues (there were plenty) were addressed. ZERO complaints whatsoever about the staff. The pool was closed; it would have been nice to know that prior to or at booking. You can tell this is an older building and is definitely showing its age, but the room was decent. The walls are extremely thin, though. Shower had great pressure & temp. Breakfast was what you'd expect.

I was appreciative of the hotel being pet friendly and FREE parking--thank you. Breakfast for my two grandchildren was satisfactory--making young people happy first thing in the morning is a plus and yours received a big thumbs-up from both of them. My double room was spacious--loved that! Disappointment: (1) was the trash around grounds from uncaring customers, but they shouldn't be left after one day. (2) I clean up after my pet but all but one of the four waste cans were completely full and overflowing. It was sickening to lift the lid to attempt to squeeze my waste bag in. (3) your lobby sitting area is planted in the center of the dining room area and upon entering after a long 5 hour car trip I attempted to place my grandkids, luggage, and pet to sit on the couch and chairs and was immediately alerted to exit the area because of the pet due to the couches close proximity to the dining tables and chairs. That was so disconcerting because we were all exhausted and I had to stand in line with dog in hand and wait for two in front of me to be served. I told the desk associate that I was simply trying to sit my family because we were so tired and he apologized for having to remove me from the sitting area but he was simply following a policy. Which I concurred with, but my God, what a silly arrangement of a lobby area that should accommodate weary travelers while the check process takes place.

The room could use a deep cleaning but the beds and bathroom were clean. The beds were comfortable, but be prepared to only have one person per bed as they sag in to the middle. The shower was hot, so all in all, better than some hotels. It was cheap so you get what you pay for. I wish they would have told us before booking that the gym is out of service. The main reason we chose this hotel was because of the gym and promise of a hot breakfast. The breakfast was not hot, but one of the two mornings it was at least passable because it had grits and eggs. The other two mornings it was cereal, muffins, waffles (all the sugar and carbs) with cold sausage and cold potatoes. We will not be returning.

The property was clean and staff were friendly. It is very frustrating that you can only come in the front door of the hotel. There are side doors that have signs stating you can use your card to enter, however you can't. You can only exit those doors. This makes for a much longer walk to and from your vehicle. Supposedly it's for safety reasons, but that's the point of having a key. The breakfast was lacking.

Tries here again and again had to wait to check in. This time there was a lady at the counter but she did whatever she was doing on the computer and we stood and waited approx 10 minutes until she attended to us. They are out of everything. Virtually nothing in the convenience store area for treats and drinks. No vending machines work. No soap or dryer sheets for the washer and dryer. Then went and bought some only to find out the washer and dryer aren’t working. She could have told us that when I asked about soap nd dryer sheets. We stayed previously in room 217 and the mattress and room itself was good. In this second room the mattresses were old and tired, no support and the air conditioner was not putting out sufficiently. Had it set to 61 degrees but 72-74 degrees in the room. Noisy as well. Might have been the people staying in this floor but quite a difference in noise level including the flushing of toilets. 2nd floor was much quieter. Did not try the included breakfast. Anyway, this was the second and last chance on this La Quinta and won’t stay here again

Refrigerator didn't work.in fact it's the second stay here that the fridge didn't work.front desk was notified each time. Floors were not vacuumed and were dirty. Noticed finger nails on floor. Broken desk in room and cracked plaster around windows and stains on mirror. Elevator was out as well ss door close to handicapped parking so we had to walk around the building to get in.But overall not a bad stay. Staff was excellent and let us stay an hour extra due to our schedule .

we had a received a room where the a/c unit was leaking and had soaked the carpet but they quickly moved us to a different room and everything was well. nice breakfast. pool was nice. they had a shuttle running which we used to go to the braves games. only $5 ea.ch way - very reasonable

Believe The Reviews!!!! The property was beautiful and conveniently located near everything. It has a bug problem. Pool is open..didnt use due to weather. Afraid to try breakfast due to bug problem. Staff was friendly, courteous and kind. Bed was comfortable (had to get new set of sheets before could sleep in it.) Could be a great hotel if it was cleaner and they exterminated.

When I arrived the floors in the hallways were littered with debris and needed vaccumed badly. The elevators were filthy as well and looked as if someone had spilled things numerous times and it had never been cleaned. The carpets in my room were stained and filthy. I found multiple hairs in my "clean" towels. The furniture was stained. There was dog poop everywhere outside with multiple pet stations with no poop bags. It was filthy and gross and I won't come back. That being said, the staff, was friendly and polite.

Overall the hotel was run down and dirty, carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a decade. The ac in our room wasn’t working properly and we were up multiple times in the night trying to cool down our room. Checking in took 45 minutes, which was extra hard with two toddlers up past bedtime. The front desk clerk kept helping other people out of order so even though we were first in line for checking in, we didn’t get into our room until 9:20 PM. He was very unapologetic and after 40 minutes of waiting around we politely asked if we could get our room key, and he mumbled under his breath “people don’t have patience no more”. Will not be coming back.

This hotel has false advertisement of rooms, one old fridge was left beside a new fridge and the old fridge had a smell, lamps didnt work, no toilet paper holder, q-tips and old bandages was left in ice bucket, ice bucket was used as a trash can. Unsanitary for the most part, beds were old and sunk in, ac kept cutting out. Breakfast was npt replenished for everyone, etc. Never will i stay at this hotel again

I stayed here because they accepted dogs. However, the facility was very dated. Rooms were dark and didn't feel clean. Could see drink rings on counter so I knew they were never wiped clean. Floors were sticky so I had to always wear shoes. AC wasn't working. Had to call maintenance. Got it to run but only at one temp. Light in bathroom went out. No bathroom fan. Tissue box was empty so had to use toilet paper for my allergies. Could hear flushing toilets and running water from other rooms, their TVs, yelling, doors slamming, people in the hallways. It was so loud. My dog was very stressed. The side security doors were propped open by smokers standing outside because key cards didn't work on exterior doors. Front desk was unable to help with any of these issues. If I didn't have my dogs with me I wouldn't have felt secure. The breakfast included was very limited and didn't seen fresh. Waffle station was never wiped down. Batter was so lumpy. Syrup had a line of people because. it was so slow to dispense Breads and muffins were so dry. No fruit except for the tiniest apples I've ever seen. Offered scrambled eggs on one day, but they were runny and gross. I was unable to bring myself to eat any of the breakfast during my stay. Poor start to my day. I will not be returning to this location.

Bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed in suite. There were no linens or blankets for pull out couch. The AC unit loudly circulated on and off- each time it shut off or on there was a very loud “thud” which wasn’t nice while trying to sleep. Staff was helpful and the room was clean!

The interior of the building is very thin walls, I could hear our TV which wasn’t turned up even halfway, in the hallway. I heard private phone conversations when walking past other rooms and while waiting for the elevator. Speaking of the elevator, it’s very flimsy. Literally. The panels are thin and unstuck from the wall, and you can tell the wallpaper is barely glued on. It’s decent for $110 a night based on the fact that it’s close to Truist Park and The Battery but it’s honestly needing some major updates. The beds were both sunken in and need to be thrown away and completely replaced. I would have spent another 20-50 bucks and went somewhere nicer.

When I checked into my first room, the sink was not working properly. So I was moved to the second room which had a problem with the water in the shower draining out. The manager, a young black guy with mini dreads said that he would comp my room for the inconvenience.

There were really nice and accommodating staff at this hotel—and then there was Tony. Read the reviews… they don’t lie. He is horribly rude. While the majority of the staff were helpful, welcoming, and went out of their way to assist our large group, Tony was the complete opposite. He was unwilling to help, dismissive, and made the entire experience more stressful than it needed to be. The key cards constantly failed to work, and instead of helping resolve the issue, Tony blamed us. I’d love to see what would happen if he tried using one of those cards on our room—maybe then he’d understand the problem. He also refused to provide an extra blanket, which any of the other staff would’ve done without hesitation. His attitude was not only rude but ageist, which made some of our group feel especially uncomfortable. From check-in to check-out, his behavior was consistently disrespectful. To be fair, the other staff members—especially Zack and the women at the front desk—were incredible and truly went above and beyond to accommodate us. They deserve a raise for picking up the slack and handling our group with professionalism and kindness. Beyond the staff issues, there were other problems: food being put away before breakfast was officially over, malfunctioning key cards, and leaking AC units. All things management should take seriously. Bottom line: If it weren’t for Tony, this review would have been much more positive. Unfortunately, one bad apple can spoil the experience fo

From the moment you go to check in was an absolute disaster! 1 employee with 6 people in line and the other employee standing behind the counter ignoring EVERYONE! Then a guy named Mr tony took over and that's when the EXTREME passive aggressiveness started! He is totaling unprofessional and talks down to you and is very sassy and rude. Miserable employees make for a miserable environment. Not to mention how nasty the room was, especially the bathroom! Worry about cleaning the nasty rooms instead of having the nasty attitude

No one at the front counter for ten minutes. Then another ten minutes to get invited to the counter to get checked in. No instructions on breakfast or other amenities or how to find the elevator. I think he was a good guy. Just distracted. Then while checking in two staff members were talking about a coworker as well as what sounded like a problem customer. Probably a better conversation to have out of customer earshot and there was more customers in line listening along with us. Then day of check out, the lady banged on our door at 9:30 am. We had let the front desk know previously and also via the text service we would be checked out right at 11 am. Not a big deal just inconvenient as it was an intended to be a sleep in morning. The hotel itself is conveniently located and was quiet. Handy to get to restaurants and the baseball park. Will stay here again.

Hotel has some age to it but it was overall comfy and clean. Our biggest issue was the breakfast. Slim pickings (no toast, cold eggs, cold sausage) asked if there was more coffee coming and got an attitude from front desk.

Rooms were poorly lit, door would not shut properly unless slammed, one of the screws in the door jam was loose, shower faucet was loose, the walls very thin, loud people in the hall way ALL NIGHT, air very slow to cool a very hot room. No hot breakfast as their truck was not delivered, we stayed here a few years ago and loved it, now we may not he back
