Pros: Friendly staff, good central location for our needs and conveniently located right off of I-75. Cons: ice maker wasn’t working but you could get ice from the front desk. No in room microwave in regular rooms—have to go out to the dining area for microwave usage.

I scheduled my wee long stay for my son's graduation from KSU. When I arrived i found the hotel undergoing major renovations. I was never informed prior to my arrival or i would have make other arrangements. I had a beautiful view of a dumpster. Obviously, I worked very hard to stay away from the hotel for the week. The management and/corporate offices knows when renovations will take place. There is no reason to inconvenience guests. Guests should be informed well in advance about any such work. I will never recommend this hotel again because of the lack of consideration by the management.

Currently undergoing repairs with no elevator so you will be dragging your luggage up the stairs. If you are lucky they will give you a room that is ready so that you don’t have to walk back down to wait at the desk to get a room that is actually ready. This was not nearly check in it was after 4pm Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was dated dark and showing signs of mildew in the corners. Not bad but won’t be my first choice for my next time in the area

The hotel was decent and clean. My only complaint was the elevator was out but we weren’t told until after check-in and our room was on the third floor. I believe notice should be shared with travelers upon booking since signage inside the hotel confirmed the elevator would be down for a specific timeframe. However, front desk staff were extremely nice. Especially the guy that was on evening/night shift.

Construction is going on but the hours are very considerate. The exterior has an enormous dumpster out front which is off-putting. The woman who was on the evening check-in desk -Tina -had zero personal skills. Not a hello, not a smile. Just cracking her gum as she looked up the reservation. Very disappointing. The morning desk person was very nice. Room was great. Bed very comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower!

No elevator and then being placed on the 3rd floor was not pleasant. Then on top of that the ice maker on the 3rd floor was not working and in order to get ice had to go up and down the stairs even more than already having to do multiple times for a week.

Both Expedia and Marriot websites showed and listed an outdoor pool as an amenity and showed an outdoor hot tub as well. When we got there the pool was covered up for the winter season still (March 25) and the hot tub had been filled in with dirt and landscaped. The only reason we booked this hotel vs others nearby was because of the hot tub.

The room was fine. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were nice. The breakfast was good. I liked the waffles. We also got a welcome bag with snack, snacks, and water. That was very nice.

This is a 1980’s Motel 6 with a Fairfield name on it! The bed was split in half with foam coming out of the side, no USB or charging ports around the bed or at the work station. The sink area when you walk in was modern and nice, but the 80’s tile and almond shower panels told the truth. The minority group that owns this one knows how to make it look good without actually spending the money! I hope Marriott sends a representative to room 305 this week to confirm that this is NOT to Marriott standards.

The ONLY 'negative' - the wifi was slow - and that the wifi and TV occasionally 'locked up' (froze').....the wifi was 'slow' the entire time, the tv 'froze' only for a few seconds at a time....The room, and personnel on staff (p.m. and a.m.) were EXCELLENT!!!

Friendly staff, ground floor was being renovated, room/bathroom clean, bed comfortable (bed could stand to have more substantial linens. I wore my sweater to bed). TV was functional. I don't know if the black shade is supposed to pull all the way down, but the one in my room did not. The parking lot light shone in the room all night. Breakfast was ok. I am a vegetarian that does not eat eggs. The only choices I had was bread/waffles and Chobani yogurt. I would like to see some plant-based bacon or sausage, to go along with the bread/waffle options. The toaster took several turns to still not toast my bagel. This after adjusting the toasting setting. Overall, friendly staff, comfy bed, hot shower, mediocre breakfast/coffee.

This was just an overnight stay. The staff at the front was extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was nice and clean. My only complaint was the bed. It appeared to be leaning down at the head of the bed. When I went to bed, the center where my back was seemed to be sunk in. I literally had to sleep long ways across the bed next to the headboard in order to sleep. I doubt that I would have been able to move the next day if I had to sleep the other way. But, truly, everything else was fine.

Wallpaper peeling in bathroom The rooms in 303 were suppose to be queen but looked like oversized twin beds. Pillows super lumpy then shaped into squares ? Good thing they give you extra pillows.

They oversold so when I checked in my room wasn't available. Then they told me "we wanted to wait until you got here to tell you" which makes absolutely no sense. Then, they switched my room type from two beds to one bed even though I was traveling with kids. I asked if they were going to adjust my rate for that and they said "well it's the same price"... well it certainly wasn't the same value because I had a 3 year old kicking me all night because by the time I found out it was too late to book elsewhere. There was one woman working the front desk and seemed to be the only person working on the entire property. They heavily showcase the pool in photos and amenities on the website and it hadn't even been opened for the season. There are a ton of these types of hotels in the area, pick a different one.

Booked a double for a soccer tournament weekend, it was total of 4 of us. Upon arrival they were sold out and were able to accommodate in a room with a king size bed with a small couch. Requested to please accommodate us in a double or to refund our money. The room they gave me was not comfortable for 2 adults and 2 tall teenagers. Finally the front desk girl said they would refund me if I checked out by 11am the next day. 2wks later I follow up on my refund and they refused, changed the whole story to something else and gave me a $30 credit. Also, change your fitted sheets, they’re so small they will not stay in place, we had to ask for flat sheets and tuck them under the mattress. Very disappointing

The people here were SO nice! Of all the trips I’ve been on, I’ve NEVER met a friendlier hotel staff. They were able to help me when I ran into some trouble losing my hairbrush at 2am and gave me tips for getting around in the traffic. Room itself was very clean and well kept. I normally hate leaving reviews, but this place just genuinely impressed me, so I had to say something!

My initial room's bathtub faucet leaked. They quickly found a better room. The breakfast buffet - the orange juice was watered down and the apples were old, the skin was wrinkled and the apple was soft. The attendant was quick to keep the hot foods fully supplied.

We just had 1 overnight stay on our way to florida. Service was friendly, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok. Not a whole lot of choices and breakfast area was pretty small & cramped. Overall, it was fine and would probably stay again on our way back home.

In town for our son’s spring football game @KSU! We had a quick check in. Nice curb appeal and easy parking. I really like the fresh scent of hallway when getting off the elevator. Our room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. Our beds were super soft! Breakfast was area was clean and plenty to eat. Checkout was simple!
