Spacious room, clean , comfortable bed, quiet at night. Building showing its age, but is cosy. Great views from dining)bar areas. Evening meals good choice and good quality. Nice staff and good service Best location for volcanoes, trails and national Park. Breakfast isn't great, traditional buffet self serve, only filter coffee, food&coffee wasn't good quality.

The rooms are very basic though very pricey. Rather drab. Staff started off cranky and terse but got nicer during our stay. There was one housecleaner who was so sweet and so helpful and working very hard. There is no guest parking so when it’s a crowded day, you have to search and wait for a parking spot. The rooms are VERY loud…you can hear everything the neighbors are doing in the bathroom, doors slamming, people talking! Beds are rather uncomfortable and don’t ever use the blanket provided..may as well be sandpaper! Long wait for dinner in the dining room.

Historic property with nice rooms and public areas. Amazing views of the volcano and you can't beat the convenience of staying here if you're planning on hiking the park. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Room was small and basic but has what you need for 1 night. Staff seemed stressed as it was very busy. Food was good. This hotel is all about the location.
