Pros: best breakfast options we’ve ever had at a hotel, clean pool, great pillows, clean rooms, friendly staff, quiet hallways, lighted parking lot, easy access into Ames. Cons: really pricey to stay, not the most comfortable mattresses, loud pool area, and prepare yourself that people in the dining area can watch you swim through windows adjoining the two rooms Overall: great for our family of 5, but I didn’t realize the steep price when I booked. (My oversight. It was over $500 for only 2 nights. From prior stays in the area, I’ve been at comparable places for $150-$200 less.). We would definitely return when we visit family, but the price will have us going elsewhere. The staff was excellent though.

We stopped here for one night traveling through Iowa back home. Easy access right off 35 and right next to gas station. Super clean and nice facilities. Small pool, but clean. Great breakfast options. Comfy beds. Ames was a nice town with lots of food options. Would definitely stay here again!

Large rooms, comfy bed with actual king size pillows (1 feather/down & 1 fiberfill) clean room, but housekeeping only shows up if requested.in-room; disclosed at checkin. Large refrigerator had been defrosted! Internal noise abatement features worked well, but outside noise come through, and the highway is close by. Room airconditioner was operational but the thermostat was in need of a tuneup. Parking is well lit and card secured entry doors on 3 sides are handy when the weather is unpleasant. I would definitely stay here again.

The sheets on one of the beds had a brown stain. And when we woke up in the morning we found out our bathroom had no running water in the shower. Waited 20 min to find out they had no maintenance person to fix the issue so we had to get keys to another room to shower.

As a diamond member, I should have been given a room on a high floor away from the elevator. I was given a room right next to the elevator and the lobby. There was constant yelling and activity in the lobby that kept me up all night.

We booked this room at last minute because there was a bad snow storm. My daughter arrived at 8:00 AM which we knew was way early. She explained that she was a nurse and just needed a place to sleep until her next shift at 7 PM. We were happy to pay the amount for the room. At 8 AM she was told there were no clean rooms and housekeeping wouldn't be there until 9 AM. 5 minutes later she was told she could get in a room AT 9:00 for an additional $50. She paid the additional $50 because there was no where else to go and travel on the Interstate was no recommended.

Dakota was very professional and helpful. He called me when my room was ready and I was able to check in early. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfy and the people are so kind. Breakfast was delicious and Larry was so helpful and kind.
