The hotel itself is a little dated. The rooms are very basic. Three-story building with no elevator in case anyone that said we need neither of one. But of course I could stay on the bottom floor. The place was clean. Service was great. They had a nice little breakfast of fresh waffles, yogurt, bagels and coffee with juices. With juices. Would be nice to have a protein in there. Good place if you want something fairly inexpensive and clean.

Property is less than average. Definitely not worth over $90. All rooms up or down stairs.No elevator. Entry narrow. No landscaping. Poor paving in parking lot. Breakfast minimal. Furnishings cheap. But, for Kootenai Hospital açcess, location is perfect.

I thought the staff were very kind. The only issues i could see is that when it came to handicap accesses it wasnt great. Like luggage racks to take stuff to rooms, alot of stairs no handicapped availability other then that its a nice place to stay

This is a good budget hotel. Anyone looking for a nicer place should pay more; this is a good value for the price. Room was decent size, bed good. Bathroom was older, but that's one of the reasons it's cheaper. Breakfast had a bit more fruit than similar places, waffle maker (no cereal, interestingly), other usual fare. Only big downside is that the lobby is locked late at night until 6 or 7am, so during those times you can only leave through the exit only door--and I have no idea how you get back in. Glad I didn't need to find out.

Very affordable, room quality is average hotel grade, great staff, right off the highway so a little loud. Lots of parking, gas station next door, and lots of quick food spots within a block or two. It's also about 15-20 minutes away from Silverwood theme park if that's what you're getting a room for, super convenient.

My husband is handicap i told them no stairs, hotel is a split level stairs no matter what floor, no elevator. A hole is cut into the outside wall with an ac stuffed in it, and it didnt work. Hot as hell in the 3rd room we were put in. Nasty smelling, to shut the batroom door you had to stand behind the toilet, thats how small it was. Dont recomend it . This hotel is used for 1 hr business if you know what i mean.

To start. The front desk folks were fabulous. Very friendly had fun conversation with us. Both when we were checking in and when we were checking out. The rooms, however, were a very different story. Our room, which I think we were in 218 and my son and his family were in 216. Room 216, my grandson who was on the floor, looked under the bed and found a 1/2 empty water bottle and a 1/2 empty Dr. Pepper bottle. The bathroom, where the toilet paper is resessed ridiculously filled with layers if dirty dust. It was frankly very disgusting.I do have pictures of the bottles and bathroom dirt if you would like them. The fridge/freezer combo was thick with freezer burn and the bottom fridge seal was disgusting. Other than the customer service, I would highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel.

The staff was friendly, but the issue was with the cleanliness. The first thing we noticed was a dirty box spring mattress leaned against the wall in the hallway. Behind the nightstand and in the corners was crumbs and dirt piled up. The towels had stains as well. And there was no elevator. Certainly this was not worth $150 for one night.

This was a horrible place to stay. Customer service was uncomfortable, we believe the host was under the influence. One bed had clearly questionable sheets, with what looked like makeup stains and grease stains. There were hairs in the shower and any surface not readily visible to the eye was layered in dust and hair. Older buildings with wear and tear are reasonable, but this felt unsanitary. The only reason we stayed and didnt find somewhere else was the late hour and 2 exhausted kids. Dont stay here.

Well, there was pubic hair in the bathtub on the shower walls mold on the shower curtain, someone had spit a Lougee in the vanity sink and that was about gross enough to make you puke the walls are dirty. The ceilings dirty was not impressed at all.

Very dirty and run down. Roaches in our room, was actually a roach trap in the cabinet under the sink. Absolutely filthy rooms and disgusting. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The check-in process was slow, room keys didn't work. Front Desk clerk didn't believe us and had to come back to our room to try the keys herself before programming new cards. She came back with us to let us in, and the room was sweltering hot. Window was left open, AC was turned off. There were some blood stains on the blanket on one of the beds, no towels in the room, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed. We called back to the desk from the room and were offered to switch rooms. The second room had dirt stains on the bed sheets, and there were bedbugs and bedbug eggs under the bed sheets. At that point, we just grabbed our stuff and went back to the front desk to check out and find a different hotel for the night. We won't be booking with this property again.

Everything at the hotel and its service were perfectly fine. Room was clean, parking was convenient, breakfast was tasty and had variety, and the hotelier Jesse at the front desk was congenial and helpful. It's just that the room walls are rather thin and you can hear people in neighboring rooms pretty clearly. My neighbors were a family with 2 kids. It was pretty annoying and I asked the front desk to be moved to another room, but all their rooms were booked and that couldn't be done. So it was just a case of luck in my case. I got the people with the undisciplined loud kids for 2 nights. It is what it is. Otherwise everything else was perfectly fine and the rates were very reasonable.

Bed was awful, air conditioning never got that cold plus it’s horribly noisy!!! I heard the ac rattle all night long. The pictures make it out to be wonderful but it was horrible. Room was tiny too. Breakfast only had waffles and yogurt. Don’t stay here.

The room was clean but dated and therefore a bit smelly. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed. Breakfast food was higher in carbohydrates and sugar but the coffee was good. Apples were good. The light through the curtain gaps and gaps around the door made it hard to sleep. Like having bright light on all night.

“Shelter” is what it really is. Tiny bathroom, small sink, no iron/ironing board, dirty carpet, ridiculously bad bed, dated and worn bedding (including 3 awful pillows on a king bed). A pleather recliner (size children) rounds out the room with a tv that occasionally went out (consistently). Dogs barking and doors slamming rounded out the trip, along with a plastic key that had to be re-set every time I left the room (and walk back to the front desk person).

It was a good experience. Very helpful and kind. The only exception our room was second floor and on the main road where you can hear traffic most of the night. A lot of tossing and turning.

The front desk clerk was no where to be found to check in. Drive 7 hours just to wait 20 min to find a staff memeber to check in. Female worker was dressed inappropriate for a desk clerk. Total trash.

Our stay here was good overall. Front desk was helpful and friendly. Room was not fancy but everything worked and was clean. We had our dogs with us for the first time and they were welcomed. We did not pay a lot of money but we felt like we got a good room for a good price. Scareywood was great!

Stay somewhere else. Literally nothing great to say about this hotel. Not even anything good to say. Saying that it was adequate is overselling it. Dirty (hairs on wall of shower, visible debris on the floor, a sink that was clogged and wouldn't drain) Disrepair (no hot water in bathroom, only 2 small lamps to light room and one was broken, the curtain wouldn't close because it was broken and hanging so we had a great view of the Jifi mart all day and night, Air conditioner was annoyingly loud with mechanical issues, loud enough to wake us from our sleep) Poor Service (or no service - nobody at front desk.....ever.....just a sign to call a #### for help- nobody answered that phone once) No housekeeping and nobody to ask for anything so we had to go purchase toilet paper and clean towels at the nearby Walgreens. Walls so thin we could hear our neighbors encouraging each other to take shots, they took them and ended up getting VERY loud...would've informed the front desk, but again.....nobody answered, so we got little sleep. The hotel is a little dated however…do looks really matter? The beds were 100% comfy, the breakfast was 100% nice and plentiful amenities, always fresh coffee all day a plus in my book, and the shower water was hot and plentiful. We arrived about 3:15. Check in starts at 3pm. Could not get anyone to the front desk. I did call the number left just incase, but no answer. So we left to get something to eat and came back after 4 and no problem. The lobby and breakfast area could use a good deep clean, but overall not terrible. Small selection for breakfast but enough to get something. The kids did enjoy the waffle maker. The room was fairly clean, except the sink still had hair from someone shaving left in between the faucet and back splash. Comfort had stains but removed it, and was fine. My biggest complaint is the Ac/Heater combo. It squealed so bad we had to turn it off. Couldn't take it. Overall, this is not the worst Hotel I have stayed in. Its was fairly clean, had plenty of clean towels, staff was nice, breakfast was ok, and free. The coffee had plenty of good creamer. The beds were comfortable enough. And it is only 20 minutes to Silverwood. The room price was definitely reasonable.

The check-in process was slow, room keys didn't work. Front Desk clerk didn't believe us and had to come back to our room to try the keys herself before programming new cards. She came back with us to let us in, and the room was sweltering hot. Window was left open, AC was turned off. There were some blood stains on the blanket on one of the beds, no towels in the room, and the floor hadn't been vacuumed. We called back to the desk from the room and were offered to switch rooms. The second room had dirt stains on the bed sheets, and there were bedbugs and bedbug eggs under the bed sheets. At that point, we just grabbed our stuff and went back to the front desk to check out and find a different hotel for the night. We won't be booking with this property again.

Theresa was absolutely fabulous. She offered to help me find a reasonably priced ride to get to my daughter’s wedding. She helped with local directions as well. Very patient and nice.

Staff was slow to respond but very nice as a person and helpful. Area was very seedy and felt unsafe. Our room was clean - ish. Our dead bolt didn't work so we jimmied a chair under the handle. Overall it was fine for a fast road stop but I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here again.

The place was very conveniently located. Close to a lot of food options and close to freeway for easy travel. Could use some protein on there bfast options some eggs and meat, mostly all carbs besides some yogurt. Staff if very friendly. Give them a A+. I didn’t sleep well dies to seeing a roach hotel trap under the sink. Honestly that had me sleeping with a light on throughout my whole stay. Didn’t sleep well because of that.

Very affordable, room quality is average hotel grade, great staff, right off the highway so a little loud. Lots of parking, gas station next door, and lots of quick food spots within a block or two. It's also about 15-20 minutes away from Silverwood theme park if that's what you're getting a room for, super convenient.

Definitely would not recommend this hotel. Our room was dirty with stuff still on the carpet, the cabinet covered in who knows what and out our window saw multiple police cars surrounding someone. Just felt very gross and unsafe.

The front desk agent was very friendly checking us in however the room was not very clean. Dirty socks found in bathroom. Towels were stained, furniture was not wiped clean from previous guests. Also disappointing to have breakfast over at 9am so we didn’t even get to eat anything as part of the inclusion of the stay. Quite a disappointing stay.

The property is old and small. The room had a smell to it but once we opened the window to air it out, it was better. The sink for the bathroom is next to the door to exit the room. The beds are spring beds. The room has no full length mirror. The shower had good water pressure and hot water that was a plus. The breakfast is okay. No protein. Just waffles, breads, muffins and yogurt. I guess you get what you pay for. We will not stay here again.

Bed was awful, air conditioning never got that cold plus it’s horribly noisy!!! I heard the ac rattle all night long. The pictures make it out to be wonderful but it was horrible. Room was tiny too. Breakfast only had waffles and yogurt. Don’t stay here.

staff was readily available when needed. the parking was great. my car was right outside my window. The room was clean and organized. There were a lot of options for breakfast. toast, bagels, boiled eggs, english muffins, cereal, waffles, juice, milk, coffee.

The property is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Checking in and out was easy with very friendly front desk people. I asked for a quiet room as I was worried about street noise and was given a room on the first floor close to the office. It was very quiet. Bed was comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was ok, had boiled eggs along with standard waffles, cereal, yogurt and muffins, juice and coffee. Price was reasonable. I would stay here again.

We just did an over night - needed a pet friendly place. The stay was decent. Heat/AC worked. TV worked. Towels provided, although for 2 people we only had 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel. I'm sure we could have asked for another set, but we were tired. Shouldn't have to ask anyway. The staff was really friendly. Bobbie, AM desk, was super friendly and helpful with breakfast and check out. Breakfast was all 'starch' - no protein and NO Black Tea - only green tea (which I can't drink) so that WAS the Biggest NO, NO for breakfast. I breakfast really disappointed. Also, styro foam cups - also a big NO NO with hot beverage, maybe the up side to no black tea. Overall - 3 star, even though I gave them a better rating for the overall room/board. Also, room service - you stay 7 nights to get room service unless you ask? I just got back from MX and had room service on a daily basis. What is wrong with the USA. Covid is still no excuse for not getting fresh towels/wash cloths daily.
