La Quinta by Wyndham Pocatello

This was an overnight stay. The location was great. We were close to the highway, but there was no noise. Our room was perfect. It was clean & updated, the bed was comfortable, & the bathroom clean. We had everything we needed. We used the gym, pool, & hot tub. All were quite clean & in good working order. Breakfast was standard & OK. The staff were nice & helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

No towels in the pool area.. Hot tub was not hot.

We live here in Pocatello and this is our go to place for a staycation or even like last night we didn’t have power for almost two days so we stayed the pool and hot tub are always great. Breakfast is always hot and fresh with lots of choices even if you need it to go can grab fruit and and a muffin

Property is dated and in need of an upgrade. One elevator was not working and the parking lot had several potholes.

Property is OK, I was dismayed that the elevator is not working, and the Coffee Making machine in the lobby and breakfast area is also broken. After a very late check in I was directed to walk outside and around the building to access a far door with a working elevator ?? No worries, it was only 28 degrees and a bit windy,,,, I then had to double back down the hallway to find my room. Also, the coffee in the lobby and and at breakfast was not available... a sign stated the coffee making machine was broken ( as well ) ? I am a bit surprised this is a Wyndham property. The room was OK, nothing fancy. More like a Motel 6. Late Checkin Staff distracted with phone conversation and not really paying much attention to me. The morning staff were nice.

The fan in the unit was awful. Clinking and crunching all night. Television kept telling us didn’t pay for the movie and couldn’t find anything to watch. No towels when getting out of pool.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We would stay there again. There was plenty of parking. If you ate at Applebees and let them know you were staying at one of the hotels you got 10% off. I wish the pool was 24 hours like some of the other hotels close by.

Gym was clean with space and great equipment. Pool was clean and maintained. Room was quiet.

Very clean

The room was clean but the air conditioner was so noisy and kept clicking on and off and would wake us up. It was either hot or cold all night. The stairs were disgusting. Looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks. Average breakfast bar.

This property is definitely overdue for an upgrade and deep cleaning. Hallways were not clean and furniture in rooms and in particular breakfast room need to be replaced. Worn and outdated.

Staff was very friendly, room was very clean

Room was fairly clean, but not the best. Shower curtain had black greasy fingerprints on it and the corners of the rooms had dirt or residue. The rest was clean. Staff was cordial, but not necessarily friendly. The parking was good. The bed seemed older, but comfortable. Breakfast was average. All in all, it was OK especially for the price, but I’m not sure I would stay there again.

Easy and quick check in . Spacious family room and nice pool . Room smelled musty and of urine , not sure if it was a room with pets ? Black hairs in bedding and blood stain . Public washroom adjacent to pool was dirty. Cleaning not satisfactory and rooms could use a refresh . Reasonably priced and convenient to highway .

There was mold in our bathroom. It’s needs to be way cleaner!

The family suite had tons of flying bugs everywhere, in the bed and on the ceilings. Room smelled like mildew and was very humid. Windows are locked and cannot be opened. The room had little to no hot water. Couch cushions were dirty and the curtains and sheets were ripped

Room was very clean and smelled nice. The front desk called to make sure the room was up to my standard. I've never had that happen before in all my travels and it was much appreciated. Good job!

The room and bathroom smelled very musty and moldy. The room appeared to be missing furniture.

We were in a room next to the elevator and it would beep loud 2 times every time someone would come to the elevator. Noise until after midnight and started again at 5 am

King suite room was pretty awesome except the fireplace didn't work which was one of the main selling points listed for the room and I'm sure we paid extra for it. Huge tube in the room was amazing!

Everything was fine except for the heater/ AC unit. Fan made so much noise could not sleep. Turned unit off so room was very warm. Something needs to be fixed!

The clerk that check us in was friendly and Informative. Our room was next to the elevator. How convenient, not so quite though. Heard every ding of the elevator and conversation in the hall.

the property is different then what they show in the photo. I booked a room with a fireplace it said but got a plain room with no fireplace, Very disappointed when you pay extra for something and don’t get it. staff was not very friendly.

The toilet ran ALL night long and I understand it’s not the hotels fault, but they shouldn’t let people with kids on 2nd or 3rd floor out of courtesy for the people that have to listen to them run and stomp all night long. I didn’t get any sleep and someone knocked on my door at 3am and ran off.

The check in employee was rude and was like talking to a robot. Sent a request for some towels which were never received.

My husband and I had been driving for hours. Decided to book a room to grab a few hours of sleep. When we arrived we found out I had erroneously booked the wrong night. Cassie who was at the front desk was friendly and extremely kind while helping us find a solution. Cassie is AMAZING!

My room was nice and clean however it was one of my worst experiences I've ever had. It started upon arrival when there was literally nowhere for me to park. They were redoing a part of the parking lot and when I went into the front desk and said there were no available parking spaces I was told that I could park at the Best Western across the street. I asked if I could unload my luggage first and was told that I couldn't block the entrance and so I expressed concerns about having to carry all of our luggage across the street in the dark. I was told that I could park behind the hotel in a restaurant parking lot but I might get towed. They told me I would get a discount on my room for my trouble which they didn't actually give me. Then after getting settled in our room and in bed asleep we received a call from the front desk at 12:30 saying that they had received 2 noise complaints from our room and if they received another they would have to come up and see what was going on. I told them it was just me and my daughter and we were in bed and not making any noise. They were rude and acted like they didn't believe us. I went back to bed and then was woken up again in about 20 minutes with a call to apologize and say it was the room next to ours that was making all of the noise. Why would they call back at this time of night and why would they call at all before coming up and checking out the situation themselves? I was completely unimpressed with the way we we treated!

Phenomenal staff service, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Hotel itself was alright, not as nice as other La Quinta's we have stayed at. Breakfast starting earlier on weekends would be a plus!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Quinta. The online checkin and checkout process was convenient, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming from the front desk (who called me when they discovered I had left my wallet there) to the cleaning staff, who were friendly and greeted us every time we passed them in the hallway. We’ll definitely stay there again when we visit family in Pocatello.

First room they put us in had bed bugs. They moved us i to a room with blood spots all over the sheets. Concerned about tracking bed bugs back to my home. Management has not returned calls or offered any compensation.

I really like the location of this hotel. It's right off interstate and there are plenty of place to eat, get munchies, and get gas. The cost is very reasonable and well worth the money! It does need some upgrades though...windows need to be replaced because the seals are broken so the windows are funky.

Room was quiet. Easy check-in and check out. Convenient location. Right next-door to Sandpiper in. Nice big parking lot so we were able to park our trailer overnight as we were moving.

Property is right off the I15. Used online check in which worked great. Property is well cared for and staff were pleasant.

We’ve stayed here before and found the experience outstanding. We returned and were not disappointed. The hotel’s location is close to Family, friends, Idaho State University, downtown, restaurants, concert venues, and the freeway. The staff we interacted with were helpful, friendly, and overall, outstanding. Thank you!

The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

The breakfast was horrible. I have stayed here lots of times and eggs, sausage, bacon or yogurt were not filled. Staff checking were great!

Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The exercise room is good. The breakfast area unfortunately is not nearly as good as it had been; we have stayed here since the early ‘90’s. LaQuinta has gone in for the tall table/stools (hard for many to use) and round tables with lounge seats, severely limiting seating options and capacity. Silly design, essentially. Breakfast selections are merely OK

Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff members were great. Breakfast, however, was the usual motel fare—not worth it. We went to a restaurant for breakfast.

Clean, sound proof room. The standard hotel breakfast but it was plentiful. Easy check in and friendly staff. Downside, only clean your room every 3days?

I heard several people complain that the eggs and the breakfast meat were ice cold. I had cold cereal and yogurt, so I did not have any complaints.

Just OK. Kinda dirty in common areas. A bit noisy with lots of kids running around. Breakfast wasn’t good. Soggy eggs and undercooked sausage. Wouldn’t recommend

The location was convenient with easy access to the Interstate. What I didn’t like was the cleanliness of the facility. The breakfast area was dirty and the hot food was cold.
